2006 Ford Focus ZX4 Automatic Sedan

NO RESERVE!!!

This Ford Focus is ready and waiting for you to take it home today. The 4 cylinder engine gets great gas mileage and performs well on the highway. A thorough inspection has shown this car to be in tip-top condition with no need for any major mechanical work. A new 12/14 WV Safety Inspection has just been completed. If you trust BLUE BOOK's pricing then you better believe the fact that we have priced this car below its BLUE BOOK which means it won't stay on our lot long. Act today!

This car is overall in good shape for the mileage/ age. It was driven form Missouri to Maryland in November and just a few weeks ago found its way to my dealership in Martinsburg, WV. The car just passed the WV safety inspections with no issues whatsoever. Mechanically in runs and drives great, Cosmetically it looks good but not great. The interior could use a good detailing, and the exterior has minor scuffs/ dings, etc. that you would expect to find on a used daily driver/ commuter car. There is also a slight vibration in the dash while the car is running, which I am told by my mechanic is caused by a typical Ford Focus motor mount issue, that apparently they all do after a few thousand miles. It has no effect on the drivability of the vehicle at all but I just wanted to make a note of any and all known issues for potential buyers. Also the previous owner has made me aware that in 2008 the vehicle was involved in a low speed parking lot collision, and the insurance replaced the front bumper cover on the car, this may show up on the vehicle history report as a minor accident. Again, not something that affects the drivability of the car at all, I just want to be upfront about anything I know about the car.

If you have any questions please feel free to call me @ 304-620-2026 or email me via eBay. This car is also for sale locally and I reserve the right to end the auction at any time. Happy Bidding!!

Ford Mustang pinball machine has supple wrist, plays by sense of smell [w/video]

Fri, 07 Feb 2014

Ford didn't have anything major to show off at the 2014 Chicago Auto Show, so it seems it instead opted to have some fun - it brought a row of pinball machines to the show. Yes, pinball machines.
We originally told you about the Stern Pinball Ford Mustang machine a few days ago, and as day two of the Chicago show is a bit of a slow one, we opted to head to the show floor and get some snaps of the bank of new machines. Not surprisingly, there's plenty for the Mustang fan in each of these machines, ranging frond different models, to logos to a full model.
Take a look below for our full gallery of live shots, available up top. Then head below for our original gallery of stock images, along with a video and press release on the new machines.

Ford will probably never offer two RS models at the same time

Mon, 18 Mar 2013

Autocar has some sour news for fans of go-fast Ford products. According to Roelant de Waard, Ford's president of marketing in Europe, the automaker will probably never offer more than one RS performance model for sale at the same time. That statement runs contrary earlier rumblings that suggested Ford would launch its next-generation Focus RS in 2015 and follow the hatch with a spate of other vehicles with an RS badge. But de Waard has made it clear that Ford of Europe is now focused on squarely on the next Mustang, even though there may be more RS models on the way eventually.
"What is clear is that the RS shouldn't be a series, or a car badge that we have in our portfolio all the time. It is an extreme car - something more than ST," he said.
That philosophy makes plenty of sense. We loved the old Focus RS - shown above in RS500 trim - because it was generally bonkers and plenty exclusive. Diluting either aspect is sure to end in disappointment for everyone involved.

Ford EV Chief: 150 kW fast charging could be the norm

Fri, May 1 2015

Ford's electrified-vehicle sales aren't exactly at the top of the charts this year, but that hasn't stopped Mike Tinskey, the automaker's global director of electrification and infrastructure, from being rather enthusiastic about advancements in various forms of more environmentally sustainable mobility. Tinskey, in an interview with The Verge, spoke of a world with really fast plug-in vehicle chargers. And of vehicles that can be re-parked using a remote driver. How fun. Tinskey, who touts SAE/combo fast-charging charging specification as the most likely to take the global leadership position, said a 150-kilowatt charger could be on the market "very soon." That'd mean an electric vehicle could be 80-percent recharged in just 20 minutes. Today's quickest units, the Tesla Supercharger, can crank out up to 120 kW. Some companies are touting 100-kW charging times, despite the lack of compatible chargers. Tinskey also spoke about Ford studies of a so-called "Remote Repositioning" feature, which would allow cars to be re-parked at night using a remote driver over a cellular network as spaces empty up, cutting down traffic, needless driving and pollution as a result. We're sure ready for such a thing. Through the first quarter of this year, sales of Ford's hybrids, plug-in hybrids and electric vehicles are down 28 percent from a year earlier to about 15,000 units. Sounds like those improvements Tinskey speaks of can't come soon enough. Featured Gallery 2012 Ford Focus Electric: Quick Spin View 18 Photos News Source: The Verge Green Ford
