Up for sale is my 1965 Ford Falcon Futura Convertible. It has been my project for the last year. It does run and drive good but needs some finishing. This is on older restoration done back in the 80's, and yes it does have filler in the usual places but looks good but is showing wear in the body and paint. The worst part of the paint is on the right rear quarter panel, a bottle of brake fluid spilled on it while it was in the barn and peeled the paint, otherwise there are scratches and chips from the junk in the barn. I did buff it out and it looks pretty good but it could eventually use some paint. The windshield is cracked and needs to be replaced. It is a driver not a trailer queen but can be a show car by next spring. I do have the original 289 engine and C4 trans that go with the car if you want it. The 289 was stuck at a valve guide from sitting in a barn for over 25 years. This is an original V8 car with 5 lug suspension, not a converted 6 cylinder car. Some of the work I have done in the last year is: install engine and trans, all new brakes and hydraulic parts, gas tank and sending unit, inner rocker structures, new Edelbrock carb, duraspark ignition upgrade, new carpet, fiberglass bumpers. It still needs interior work, the seats are not original to the car except the top of the back seat. The front split bench is from a Falcon wagon and the base of the rear is also from the same wagon. It isn't a perfect fit but will work until a base is located. Eventually it will need a repaint. It has headers and dual exhaust to the rear axle, needs tailpipes. The white top is in very nice shape with no tears, even at the pivot points. The power top works well but the pivots need oiling. I don't have all the white inserts that go between the trim. I suggest coming to see the car in person before committing to purchase. I consider this a drivable project. I am selling to pay a few bills and have another car that I would like to start on. 2013 Ford F-150 Limited
Mon, 28 Jan 2013The Ford F-150 received yet another new model for the 2013 model year, the Limited trim, bringing the ways you can order this country's most popular vehicle to a grand total of 10. There really is an F-150 to suit any need now, and the Limited variant slots in at the very top of the range, above the already pampering Platinum model.
While normally I would admit that I'm the least-appropriate person to test a pickup, the fact that this particular trim places a much higher premium on luxury than anything with a bed and Blue Oval badge before it means that I don't need the workman chops of a skilled tradesman to judge how well this truck meets its true aim.

Performance CNG wants to crowdfund natural gas-powered Ford Mustang
Fri, May 16 2014Soliciting investments to develop a street-legal compressed natural gas (CNG) powered Ford Mustang that can deliver 470 horsepower certainly wouldn't make sense on a site called Indiestopstop. Nope, Indiegogo is the more-appropriately-named site that one Michigan entrepreneur is using to try and crowdfund his CNG 'Stang. He's looking to raise $55,000. Michigan's Daryl Patrishkoff and his company Performance CNG LLC showed off their converted 2003 Mustang last year at the Woodward Dream Cruise in Royal Oak, MI in an effort to get some exposure for the car, which can run on both gas and CNG. The company and its three-man team is looking to further develop the project in the name of a fueling source that is 40 percent cheaper than gasoline, throws off as much as 30 percent fewer tailpipe greenhouse gas emissions and makes the country less dependent on foreign oil. Performance CNG estimates that just 120,000 of the world's 15 million CNG-powered vehicles are in the US and is calling for more. As for the $55 grand, Patrishkoff estimates that more than half of that amount would be committed to the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) testing of emissions, fuel economy and horsepower. The problem? As of right now, only $150 has been raised. Check out Performance CNG's press release below and see the fundraising effort on Indiegogo here. Eco-Friendly Muscle Car? CNG vehicles save money, emit less pollution and creates jobs from American-mined fuel SHELBY TOWNSHIP, Mich., May 5, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Daryl Patrishkoff of Shelby Township, MI, has a vision for the American automotive industry. He firmly believes that our fuel of choice should be Compressed Natural Gas (CNG), not gasoline. Until the full CNG infrastructure is in place a Bi-Fuel vehicle, fueled by either CNG or gasoline upon the drivers command, is the bridge vehicle that can lead this transition. Patrishkoff heads up a (3) man technical team developing this technology. The advantages are: 40 percent savings in fuel costs at the pump 25-30 percent reduction in harmful emissions 100 percent US provided natural gas Meaningful employment for the US economy The most important benefit, however, is that a CNG-powered vehicle runs on fuel that can be mined in America, eliminating the need for foreign oil. "After decades of political rhetoric, these types of vehicles can truly lead the US to energy independence," he said.
Mysterious small Ford spied in Germany
Sat, 29 Jun 2013Our spy photographers have just popped off a few shots of something curious. This little runabout was spotted in Germany out testing with a current-generation Ford Fiesta. We're fairly confident the machine is a Ford, but exactly which Ford model is up for debate. The hatchback could be the next-generation Ka, but we've also heard that the Blue Oval supermini might not get a replacement. Our shooter says the five-door is a bit smaller than the current Fiesta, though there is a chance that this rig is just an engineering mule for drivetrain development. Then again, it could be a model built specifically for the South African market or China, or not a Ford at all.
Whatever it is and wherever it's headed, you can check out in the gallery for a closer look before heading into Comments to weigh in with your best guess.
