A must see for the Falcon Lovers. Totally custom interior with attention paid to detail. Professionally done inside and out.Paint and Body Quality is 9 at least and the underside matches the rest. Car was originally from Arizona and had a great body to begin with, the car has all original body panels, the car was restored in 2009-2010.Four speed transmission with the power of a 302 v-8.Ceramic coated headers. Pretty much everything is new, such as tires ,wheels, brakes, chrome, factory tinted glass, tires, interior. Underside is finished as well , and is a pleasure to see. Floors are original but refinished and repainted. You can drive this one home if you don't mind putting on the first stone chips. The gentleman we got this from is very, very detailed in his eye for quality. There is very few Falcons restored to this level, this should be the only one there at most car get togethers. The paint is hard to explain ,other than it was put on with no errors and put on perfectly straight body panels, fantastic shine and reflection. All windows, chrome, trim was put on perfectly, where it belonged. Easy starts, very strong transmission, EXCELLENT SOUNDING engine. Custom interior is done with no errors and looks stunning.Mild cam and pretty much stock 302.Has Cobra Valve covers and engine compartment is completely clean and well organized. this is a driver too, it runs excellent. Ford Explorer gets appearance pack for 2015
Sat, 14 Jun 2014Remember when Ford launched the totally new Explorer in late 2010, and people were skeptical about how the now-crossover would fare, after ditching its traditional SUV roots? Well, we're several years in, and I think we can assuredly say that Ford made the right decision. Sales are better than ever (in fact, May was the current Explorer's best month yet), and the crossover is finding its way into the hands of a whole host of new Ford buyers.
A wholly refreshed Explorer is still forthcoming, but to keep its strong-selling crossover fresh, Ford is offering a host of improvements for the 2015 model year, including the attractive appearance package available on the XLT trim level, pictured above. Outside, the pack gets you goodies like 20-inch machined aluminum wheels, black bodyside cladding and roof rack rails. Contrasting Magnetic Metallic accents are found on the grille, mirror caps and liftgate appliqué, and there's an "Explorer" hood badge and body-colored door handles. Inside, there are new Miko suede inserts in the seats, and the package includes the automaker's Sync connectivity with MyFord Touch infotainment.
Elsewhere in the Explorer range, the Class III trailer tow pack is now standard on the Sport, base models get new 18-inch aluminum wheels, and there are three new colors on offer: Bronze Fire Metallic and Magnetic Metallic.

Ford Recalling 70k Escape and Mariner Hybrids for cooling issue
Fri, 12 Sep 2014Ford is recalling about 70,209 examples of the 2005-2008 Ford Escape Hybrid and the 2006-2008 Mercury Mariner Hybrid because the cooling pumps for their hybrid systems could fail.
According to the company's defect notice, it's possible for the original "Motor Electronics Coolant (MEC) Pump" to wear out and fail, which would could cause the hybrid system to overheat. If this happens, the vehicle goes into a safety mode that takes away most or all of its power. However, braking and steering still operate normally. After cooling down, the affected models restart normally. The company says that it's not aware of any accidents or injuries related to this problem.
Ford will begin repairing the vehicles in late October, and dealers will be installing improved, brushless pumps on the affected models at no charge to owners. If drivers had their pumps fail before this recall, they can contact Ford for a possible reimbursement.
