The heater core may need to be replaced and the windshield wiper doesn't work. It could be a fuse or something simple. I never drive the car in the rain so it was never an issue with me."

I'm selling my 1966 Ford Fairlane. I absolutely love this car because it's in great condition and you rarely see fairlanes on the road anymore. The double stacked head lights and the overall stance of the car screams American muscle. And what's a muscle car without muscle? A joke! This has plenty of balls to put you back in your seat and sounds absolutely amazing doing so. The car doesn't need anything besides a new driver.  Be different from your typical mustang or camaro and turn some serious heads.  I will warn you that every stop at a gas station will spark up conversation about this car so make sure you're in the talking mood.

It's equipped with a 393 stroker engine.
Rousch Sr. Racing heads
Edlebrock aluminum intake manifold
Aftermarket Radiator
650 Demon Carb
Headers
MSD Ignition
Compcams chromoly roller rocker arms
CSR electric water pump
Electric Fuel pump
Electric Fan

It has a c6 automatic transmission with B&M shifter and a Detroit Locker rear end with 4.10 gears. It cruises just fine on the freeway at 60mph.

New control arms and "A"arms and new lowered suspension.

17" American Racing rims with new tires. Front disc brakes.

And a bunch of other stuff I can't remember.

It has a custom dash made of real unpolished carbon fiber. All of the gauges work, blinkers, brake lights too.

The car has always been garage.  I can send a video to serious parties of the car running.  The whole drive train and engine have less than 10,000 miles on it.  Also the headliner is in amazing condition as well.

I'm selling the car because my wife needs the garage space and rarely get to drive since I have a company car I spend all my time in, and I want someone else to enjoy it before the summer is over.

Feel free to reach out with any questions.

Ford Fiesta becomes UK all-time best seller

    Thu, 24 Jul 2014

We may regard Ford as an American automaker, but ask a Brit and they may tell you otherwise. The Blue Oval has, after all, been selling cars in the UK since 1903, and started manufacturing there as far back as 1911 when it began local production of the Model T in Manchester. Last year Ford ended 100 years of vehicle manufacturing in the UK when the last Transit van rolled off the assembly line in Southampton, but it's still the biggest-selling automotive marque in Britain.
Ford has led the British market for 34 out of the past 45 years, selling more Fiestas than any other company sells any other car in the UK since 2009... when it overtook the Focus. In fact the Fiesta has now become the best-selling car in British history, topping 4,115,000 units since its introduction in 1976. The previous record was held by - you guessed it - another Ford: the Escort sold 4,105,961 units over the course of its 32 years on the British market.
Although the Fiesta is no longer manufactured in the UK (previous versions having been built at Dagenham until 2002), engines are: the EcoBoost line was developed at the company's R&D center in Essex and are built at the factory in Dunton, while its diesel engines were developed at Dagenham in East London. Even the 1.6-liter EcoBoost engine in the Fiesta ST is built in South Wales.

Dealers price gouging Ford Mustang 50th Anniversary Edition by up to $20k [UPDATE]

    Wed, Feb 11 2015

UPDATE: Sheehy Ford's Cory Belcher got back to us, confirming that the price premium was related to the limited nature of the 50th Anniversary Mustang and that the figure listed was based on what other dealers were charging, while adding that the dealership was "very flexible" on the final price of the special edition car. So while there remains a hefty markup, it's possible that consumers could get out the door without spending quite so much over MSRP. It's no secret that dealers take some – let's call them "liberties" – with the prices on vehicles that are very new, highly in demand or available in very limited numbers. As we've explained before, they're well within their rights to charge so-called market value adjustments. We don't usually see these adjustments on mainstream vehicles, though. Then again, you could argue that the 2015 Ford Mustang 50th Anniversary Edition is not necessarily a mainstream vehicle. It starts at $46,170, which isn't peanuts, but it's still a Mustang. There's still a large portion of the buying public that could put one in their driveway, if they so chose. Then again, maybe they can't. That's because dealers are (still) issuing massive premiums on top of MSRP for the limited-edition model. It's happening at Sheehy Ford Gaithersburg, where a salesperson named Lou confirmed to Autoblog that the dealership is charging around $20,000 over MSRP on not one, but two Anniversary Editions. He explained that Sheehy isn't alone in the upcharge: "We like to see what other dealers are asking for," he told us, in reference to the limited edition 'Stang. We have a message in for the dealership's general manager for deeper info, too, and will update this post when/if we hear back. We corroborated Lou's story, though, with another Maryland area dealer, Century Ford, who confirmed that the $46,995 listed on the dealer's website for its Wimbledon White Anniversary car was incorrect, and the actual price was "around $64,000." He echoed Lou's reasoning for the upcharge, while adding that dealers are likely only going to see one or two examples, of the 1,964 produced. Perhaps the most worrying part of this entire affair is the sense of deceit that accompanies it. Neither of the dealers we spoke to copped to the market value adjustments on their website. We had to call and ask specifically about the cars in question to get the actual price.

    2014 Ford Mustang GT

    Fri, 17 May 2013

I was more than a year removed from my last experience with the Mustang GT and its delicious 5.0 V8 when this new 2014 example rolled up to my driveway recently. Good weather and a planned road trip across the state meant that I would get plenty of seat time in this conservatively specified example, too. In total, I logged about 400 miles in a week of driving - not a lot for some of you super commuters out there, but quite a lot for this work-from-home journalist.
The basic formula of the 5.0 has stayed the same for 2014. The 2013 model year saw a number of updates to keep the Mustang fresh until it's replaced with an all-new generation for 2015. So, for its bon voyage tour, the fifth-generation Pony Car has seen only a few modifications: a couple of new paint colors (Oxford White and Ruby Read Metallic), trim and wheel revisions and, sadly, the deletion of the Boss 302 from the Ford lineup. However, while the limited-edition Boss is likely to reappear sometime after the gen-six Mustang makes its debut in 2015, the GT Track Package cars like the one I tested provide at least a partial solution for those looking for hot laps.
