This is a 1961 2 door post, club coupe, series 30. Car came with 292 v8, with 3 speed pull out overdrive.Transmission is still in vehicle. Vehicle came with 9 inch posi tract rear end. Car has sway bar in front, with v8 springs. car has sat for over 30 years. Fender wells very nice. Transmission linkage is still hooked up. Do not have the engine or bell housing. Clutch petals are still in floor. Doors shut very well and in good condition, with no rust issues. Windshield has a chip in it, but is in fair to good condition. All the other glass is good. The stainless trim on the car is in good condition and attached to car a and none is missing. Rear seat needs recovering but in very nice shape. Car will need the front and rear floor pans replaced. The trunk in nice shape, has small holes but very solid  and does not need replacing. Inner rear fender wells are nice, rear bumper is bent but can be straightened. Trunk seal is nice with no rust. Hood has some rust on inside but very nice outside and is not weak. Quarter panels are very nice on this car, driver side has a very small rust hole down low. Front fenders are really nice, along with nice rockers. This would make a excellent street rod!! I do have a complete 429 engine with c-6 tranny that could be purchased separately that is a running motor. Front seat is missing from vehicle. This is a 30 series club coupe which means it had the v8, with heavy front springs, 3 speed with overdrive, with posi rear. Car also has factory sway bar in front, with 3 inch bake drums. This is a good solid car that has never been painted or been in an accident. For questions call Keith at 931-279-3458 leave message. I reserve the right to end auction early, because car is for sale or trade locally.. the wheels in the picture do not go with the car,it will have standard 15 inch steel wheels, with tires,,thanks

Leno talks racing with NASCAR racer Joey Logano

Wed, 02 Jul 2014

Jay Leno has to be under significant pressure knowing the appetite his fans have for a new Jay Leno's Garage video every week. This time, Jay takes a break from his usual format (something he's been doing with some frequency as of late) and goes back to his roots as a talk show host. There's no classic in the garage his episode with an interesting story to tell and a sumptuous exhaust note. Instead, the focus is purely on interviewing 23-year-old NASCAR racer Joey Logano about what it's like to be a racecar driver in his Ford Fusion.
Logano started racing at the tender age of six and has risen up the circle-track ranks to the big show of the NASCAR Sprint Cup. The two of them talk about what it's like to compete in the sport today compared to yesteryear, and Logano shares some racing anecdotes. Of course, they also get into what it's like to be on the racetrack controlling a car with about 850 horsepower, a four-speed manual transmission and brakes without any power boost. Scroll down to watch the video.

2015 Ford Mustang revs it up at Cars & Coffee

Mon, 09 Dec 2013

Just because the new 2015 Ford Mustang has officially been released, you didn't think that would be the end of the matter - did you? Of course not. There'll still be plenty of rumors, reports and video footage to bring you. Like this, the first non-official footage of the new pony car in the wild.
Shot by YouTube user SotA1080 and dug up by our friends at CarBuzz, this clip shows the new Mustang posing for photos (alongside other Mustangs) and starting up its engine at the most recent gathering of Cars & Coffee in Irvine, CA. And this being the GT model, it's not packing the V6 or the turbo four, but the red-blooded 5.0-liter V8 that tells us and enthusiasts worldwide that the new Mustang has not lost its way. Scroll on down to watch the footage for yourself.
