1958 Ford Fairlaine...a beautiful car. A great ride comfortable ride. 223 Strait six has plenty of power but is also bombproof. Runs cold at parade speed but still gets on freeway fine. 3 speed manual transmission on the tree is the best ever. Motor has less than 3,000 miles on it. Replaced last year the radiator, battery, hoses, vacuum line to heater and windshield wipers, Heater core, clutch plate and brake shoes, hood, rebuilt the motor, and went through the transmission. This care is awesome. draws a big crowd where ever she goes. I have put it in 2 car shows since rebuild and won them both. But this is a driver. The title is clean and was originally purchased about an hour from me here in Texas. I have restored several cars in the past but am most proud of this one. It is my favorite one to drive and I feel the most confident with the motor...Hate to sell but the plan was to pay for a year of collage for my daughter and its go time. Car looks great. drives great, and stops great

Mustang pinball game will feature art by Ford GT designer
Fri, 13 Dec 2013To celebrate 50 years of Mustang, Ford and Stern Pinball are collaborating on a new pinball machine that will feature the muscle car in all its glory, Polygon reports. Even better, Camilo Pardo, the guy who designed the Ford GT, will provide art for the table; Tanner Foust, Top Gear USA host and professional driver, will handle narrating duties; and a Sony Music soundtrack spanning five decades will provide the tunes.
"The Mustang is one of the most iconic, American cars ever made... What better way to celebrate 50 years of Mustang than with the launch of the Ford Mustang pinball game?" says Stern Pinball CEO Gary Stern.

Motorweek goes retro with '80s hot hatch shootout

It recently added old road test videos to its YouTube channel of the Acura NSX and Toyota Supra, as well as the Ferrari F40. For one of its newest flashback clips, Motorweek has exhumed an affordable five-car challenge of 1986's premiere hot hatches.
By today's standards, this is an eclectic field that features fondly remembered classics like the Volkswagen GTI 16-valve and Acura Integra. However, it also throws in some nearly forgotten contenders like the Dodge Colt Turbo and Ford Escort GT. The angular Toyota Corolla FX16 GT-S rounds out the group.
It's fascinating to watch Motorweek run the quintet through the slalom, down the drag strip and on various roads. What's most striking in this clip is the difference in the definition of a performance car between then and now. With its 16-valve, 1.8-liter four-cylinder, the GTI is the burliest of the contenders with 123 horsepower, but it still takes 8.8 seconds to reach 60 miles per hour. By today's standards, that would make it a plain-jane economy car, and not even a particularly quick one.
