                               What i am putting up for auction is an old school rig. The short wheel base allows you to maneuver this rig anywhere. The two 20 K  booms have about 150ft of  cable,  one  is new on the spool ,  and  I have   another new cable inside the  box, if you need to reach out farther  then 150 ft.

                                 One of the  door's hinges  ( on the box ) needs to be welded.   Door still works . minor fix.   I might get to it. I ave concentrated mainly on sanding/grinding any rust ( mostly surface )   and have applied 5 coats of Direct to metal primer/ and  finish paint. I also plan on painting an Eagle on the hood. ....Of course.

                               I was told the 7.3 has only 140, XXX but cannot verify. Motor is very tight, and other mechanic's that have looked at it  believe it to be true.  Has one new battery, the other is about 2 yrs old.  Fire's right up. Oil pressure is around 50 psi.  There is a block heater for the cold days,  i have never used it.

                              New radiator, probably from when the previous owner had been shot at after repo a  vehicle.......I left the hole. 


   .                        He had also replaced the clutch, so it has app. 1000 miles on the 5 speed. Micro lock braking system. 4 wheel disc brakes.Tire and brake's  are in very good shape

                               I had purchased  Boomer ( she named it ) to use the  cranes . There is a heavy duty hitch that can be attached to the wheel lift , so you could easily pull a trailer carrying  heavy equipment. . This is gear low ,  (you don't want to take this over 55 )  but still doesn't get terrible mileage. I am figuring 14 mpg...

                           Dual tanks,  i have driven 300 miles , and still have fuel in both tanks. .  As of right now, its about $100.00  ( 4.00  a gallon for diesel here )   to fill it up.

Next Lincoln Navigator to drop V8 in favor of V6, but Ford Expedition might get both

A great many buyers fled from full-size body-on-frame SUVs to car-based crossovers in large measure to save fuel. But that doesn't mean there's still not a buying audience for more traditional truck-based utility vehicles, and those consumers doubtlessly wouldn't mind saving some dollars at the pump, too. According to Motor Trend, those shoppers might be in luck.
That's because the magazine has confirmed that Ford isn't walking away from the full-size SUV segment, and it's poised to do something about its offerings' economy ratings, too. According to MT, global Lincoln director Matt VanDyke has hinted that the next Navigator may drop two cylinders and go with a V6 model - the current model gets just 14 miles per gallon in the city and 20 on the highway from its 5.4-liter V8. The obvious fitment would be Ford's 3.5-liter twin-turbo EcoBoost V6, an engine that has spread like kudzu throughout the rest of the Blue Oval's large vehicle lineup.
Downsized turbocharged engines like Ford's EcoBoost franchise have come under fire as of late for not delivering their EPA fuel economy ratings, but their benefits extend beyond consumption - the 3.5L offers superior power and a better torque curve than the naturally aspirated V8. MT also suggests that Ford's 3.7-liter V6 could form the base engine for the next Navi - it has similar horsepower but a lot less torque than the current 5.4L. That may be less of a problem with the next generation tipped to go on a diet, which could level the playing field somewhat.

Ford taps Canada-based Multimatic to build carbon fiber Ford GT

Ford has given Canadian firm Multimatic the nod to build the carbon fiber body on the new GT – The Blue Oval says it has worked with this company for 30 years. The global supplier provides parts and engineering to various automakers, and while based in Markham, Ontario it has 12 plants in Canada, the US, Mexico, England, and China. When announcing the decision at the Canadian International Auto Show, Ford says it chose them "because they have specialized equipment for carbon fiber production and expertise in carbon fiber assembly," and we've heard that the 600-horsepower coupe will be produced in a purpose-built facility at Ford's factory in Markham. Even better than that – for GT purposes and for possible hints at a Le Mans run – the Multimatic Motorsports division can be contracted for engineering and race team management. They currently produce the Boss 302R racecar in the Continental Tire SportsCar Challenge, worked on the FR500C, and their Multimatic Motorsports Lola B2K/40 won its class at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 2000. The first models will roll off the line at the end of next year. Production numbers are rumored to be in the low hundreds, with a six-figure price tag around $200,000. They'll go into production in time for some sort of 50th anniversary celebration of the GT40 taking the the top three spots at Le Mans in 1966. Ford's Galhotra succeeds Farley as head of Lincoln

Ford Motor Company is announcing a major personnel shakeup that could have a dramatic effect on the future of the Lincoln division. Kumar Galhotra (pictured above), currently vice president of engineering at Ford for all of its vehicles worldwide, is taking over as the president of the luxury brand on September 1, replacing Jim Farley. The automaker is also hiring a new head of advanced engineering.
Galhotra has a huge job ahead of him as the new boss of Lincoln worldwide, overseeing product development, marketing, sales and service. His task is to turn the luxury division into a world-class brand as quickly as possible, and he reports directly to Ford President and CEO Mark Fields.
"These changes underscore our commitment to build on the success of our One Ford plan by accelerating our pace of progress. They also make clear we are serious about Lincoln as a world-class luxury brand and that product excellence and innovation are what will deliver growth and define our entire company going forward," said Fields in the company's announcement.
