This F-350 Crew Cab is adult owed and no banks or any other non stock items added to inhance it's performance. The engine runs as it should, no smoking or bypass, have only used the 4 wheel drive several times and it functioned as it should, the transmission shifts smooths and is very tight.  The body is straight with a few scratches as shown in the pics and small tear in passenger side bottom seat, was like that when i bought it 2 years ago. Bought from local Houston Ford dealer and all maintenance done by them, also all oil changes done with the best synthetic oil that Fords recommends. The leather seats, head liner and carpet are clean. It has blown in bed  liner. The windshield was replaced last week, had a crack that was growing so took care of that problem. The tires are BF Goodrich All terrain and i have put 17,500  miles on them, were bought from Discount tire about 6 months ago and have the full road side warrantee as well as wheel locks on all wheels and life time balance and rotation that is transferable. Over the past several months i have replaced the alternator and both batteries which was recommended by Ford when the alternator was replaced and also all 4 brake pads replaced . It has a Sky Link theft recovery system, which is supposed to be the best as far as amount of time it would take to recover the truck if it were stolen. It also has a set of thick Husky floor mats which covers the entire carpet areas front and back that keeps the existing carpet from too much dirt and grime, see pics. The windows have life time tint and also has rain guards as you can see in the pics. Has been a good and reliable truck with normal maintenance, the next owner will be extremely happy with this purchase. A $500.00 deposit to be sent by successful bidder in 3 days after close of bidding  balance in 7 days. The truck is in Houston, Texas and will be glad to pick up at one of 2 airports if you are flying in. Thank you and good luck.

Ford Transit production fires up, American Pickers among first takers

Wed, 30 Apr 2014

Not long ago, the History Channel showed a seemingly unending stream of World War II documentaries, but it made a switch a few years ago to include an increasing mix of 'reality' programming. American Pickers was one of the early attempts at this new formula, with cameras following hosts Mike Wolfe and Frank Fritz around the country in a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter as they tracked down collectibles and "rusty gold" for their Iowa shop, Antique Archeology. The show has since gone on to become one of the channel's most popular programs.
Starting in the new episode airing tonight, the affable hosts will swap their Benz for a 2015 Ford Transit, a nicely timed bit of marketing to coincide with the launch of the model's assembly at the Blue Oval's Kansas City Assembly Plant, which also kicks off this week. Ford is touting 2,000 new jobs created as part of its $1.1-billion investment in the plant.
No strangers to product placement, the guys from American Pickers say their switch away from the Sprinter is because they wanted to balance cargo capacity and fuel economy to make the most of their cross-country jaunts. They opted for the largest Transit available with a long wheelbase, extended body and high roof, giving them 487 cubic feet of cargo room. Hauling power comes from a 3.2-liter, five-cylinder diesel engine with 190 horsepower and 346 pound-feet of torque and a six-speed automatic transmission with rear-wheel drive. Fittingly, the van wears the same Antique Archaeology logo over white paint as their old Sprinter.

2013 Ford F-150 Limited

Mon, 28 Jan 2013

The Ford F-150 received yet another new model for the 2013 model year, the Limited trim, bringing the ways you can order this country's most popular vehicle to a grand total of 10. There really is an F-150 to suit any need now, and the Limited variant slots in at the very top of the range, above the already pampering Platinum model.
While normally I would admit that I'm the least-appropriate person to test a pickup, the fact that this particular trim places a much higher premium on luxury than anything with a bed and Blue Oval badge before it means that I don't need the workman chops of a skilled tradesman to judge how well this truck meets its true aim.

Ford unveils next-gen S-Max in Europe

Tue, 16 Sep 2014

Let's get this unfortunate though important tidbit out of the way right off the bat: The Ford S-Max isn't sold in the United States, and it's not coming here, at least not anytime soon. And so it's with our European friends in mind that we share this information about the next-gen S-Max (previewed about a year ago in concept form) that is set to debut all across Europe next year and will be shown off at the upcoming Paris Motor Show. Now, moving on...
As with the first-gen S-Max, the new model will boast seating for seven passengers, along with a decent amount of storage space, all packed into a relatively reasonably sized package. Powering the front wheels (or optionally all four) will be the buyer's choice of EcoBoost gasoline-turbocharged or turbo-diesel four-cylinder engines along with automatic and manual transmission options. Included in the mix is a new 1.5-liter EcoBoost with 160 horsepower, though the 240-horse 2.0 is likely to be seen as the headliner.
There are all kinds of new technologies on offer, ranging from Adaptive Steering to Dynamic LED Headlamps with Glare-Free Highbeams, and it's all housed inside new, more sleekly designed bodywork riding atop a chassis with new suspension architecture designed to make the S-Max a people-hauler that's still fun to drive. For all the details, we suggest you scroll down below to read through Ford's official press release.
