This auction is for a 1990 Ford F-350, XLT Lariat. It has 160,943 miles on it and we are still driving it, so the mileage will be more. This truck is a good running truck with no mechanical problems. I will start with the front outside and describe the truck the best I can, if you have any questions please ask. The front of the truck; the front bumper is bent and touching the front quarter panel left side. There is a block heater that works well. Overall the paint is not in good shape, it is peeling and has chips. The front top of the cab has a dent on it. It has two gas tanks and they both work. The tires are Goodyear Wrangler, they have about 2000 miles on them. There is rust around the wheel wells. There is a receiver hitch. The interior; the seat is ripped, the radio is an Alpine, the CD works but the AM/FM does not, I think the antenna is not hooked up. This truck goes down the road straight and is a very solid build unit. The engine is strong with no problems, the A/C works. This truck is for sale is as is. So if you have any questions please ask. Thanks for looking

Top Gear pits Hennessey VelociRaptor vs. Range Rover Sport SVR
Fri, Jun 5 2015As a television series, Top Gear is in limbo with an intent to return, but no hosts yet. However, it's magazine and website continue to bring us clips like this one. While the video might lack the show's charismatic hosts, this is an opportunity to see a drag race between a Land Rover Range Rover Sport SVR with 550 horsepower and a Hennessey VelociRaptor with 623 hp. The duel between these two supercharged V8s definitely sounds great. Both rugged models start at the line growling angrily at each other like dogs ready for a fight. You have to watch the clip to see whether the more powerful VelociRaptor feeds on the SVR, though. Check out Ford's fully automated self-parking car [w/video]
Wed, 09 Oct 2013As automakers continue to find uses for autonomous and semi-autonomous vehicle technology, Ford of Europe has announced that it is developing a self-parking system for future use. More advanced than the Active Park Assist already offered in many Ford products, the new Fully Assisted Parking Aid can take full control of the vehicle and can navigate angled and perpendicular parking spots.
While today's Active Park Assist can only parallel park with the driver controlling the gas, brake and gear selection, Fully Assisted Parking Aid can operate steering, gas, brake and gear selection all while making sure the car is properly parked in the intended space. As with APA, the driver pushes a button to make the car look for a proper spot (at speeds of up to 18 miles per hour), and when an adequate space is located, the operator pushes another button (either inside the car or outside via remote control) for the car to park itself - the button must be pressed throughout the whole parking maneuver. Even though Ford says that the car can effect gear selections on its own, the system must still start from Neutral, and the automaker isn't saying whether the car can put itself into Park when done or put itself in Drive when the operator is ready to go.
Ford is also taking the opportunity to announce its new Obstacle Avoidance technology. This automated system is able to detect objects - including pedestrians - in the road, warn drivers of said objects and, if needed, stop and steer automatically to avoid hitting the obstacle. Both systems are still in the prototype phase, so there is no word as to when we could see either on a production vehicle.
