Here is one of the sought after 7.3 L Diesel Super Duty Powerstrokes. Early in 2003 these trucks were no longer produced.
These 7.3L trucks are very popular for 3 reasons. 1. Proven Durability 2. Awesome torque for pulling and hauling 3. Impressive fuel mileage.
"One Family" owned vehicle. Odometer mileage is low and correct.
MECHANICAL
Engine starts like it should and idles great. Performance is impressive and the truck is in excellent working order.
Injectors, turbo, ecm, idm all check out on the Ford Powerstroke Analyzer. No dash engine warning lights illuminated. No crankcase blowby.
AC and heat are good. Transmission was completely rebuilt this year. Suspension and steering are tight. Drives straight.
Batteries are in good shape. Engine oil recently changed. 3.73 rear end
This truck has been outfitted with a Kelderman Air Ride System. This is a high end support system to give a better ride when pulling a trailer. Link is below:

BODY
The Red paint has held up well and has a nice shine. (see pics). The body is very straight with the exception of a scratch in left front fender. Bed is nice and has a hideable heavy duty gooseneck ball. This is an Texas truck and body is rustfree. Windshield is nice.
INTERIOR
The interior is in great condition and NO offensive smells. (Nonsmoker interior) The seats, dash, steering wheel, carpet, headliner are all nice. Power windows are all operational. Power locks are working well.

First 1K next-gen Mustangs to carry 2014 1/2 model year?
Thu, 18 Jul 2013A new report from Mustangs Daily, citing insider sources at Ford, tells us that the Blue Oval will produce 1,000 next-generation Mustangs with the model year designation of 2014 ½, to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the storied marque. The commemorative half-year designation is a rumor that's been swirling in Mustang forums for quite some time now, and seems more plausible than ever with this most recent report. Certainly it's not far-fetched to believe that Ford will want to make a big deal of the golden anniversary for its most-loved model.
The story (compiled by Drew Phillips, who runs the aforementioned Mustang site when he's not directing the photography on these pages) goes on to say that the limited-run cars will be the first built on the new Mustang platform internally known as S550 (and spied testing in the attached gallery). Each car is said to carry a "special" VIN and build number, though no performance upgrades versus the 2015 cars to follow are in the works. A collector's dream then, rather than a weekend racer's.
2014 Ford Fiesta Titanium
Mon, 28 Oct 2013You might not be interested in owning a subcompact (B-segment) hatchback for $20,000. Let's be clear from the get go here: there are any number of reasonable arguments for staying away from the highest-content versions of these small cars. Ford's player in the B-segment arena is the newly updated 2014 Fiesta, and the Titanium trim represents the most luxurious instantiation of the model. We recently were loaned a Fiesta Titanium for a week, whose final sticker price hit $20,390, with navigation being the only standalone option added to the bottom line. By way of comparison, the most basic version of the all new, one-segment-up Mazda3 hatchback costs $19,740 with delivery and destination accounted for, and no options added on.
Hold on to that thought for a moment, we'll get back to it.
Ford using robot drivers to test durability [w/video]
Sun, 16 Jun 2013In testing the durability of its upcoming fullsize Transit vans, Ford has begun using autonomous robotic technology to pilot vehicles through the punishing courses of its Michigan Proving Grounds test facility. The autonomous tech allows Ford to run more durability tests in a single day than it could with human drivers, as well as create even more challenging tests that wouldn't be safe to run with a human behind the wheel.
The technology being used was developed by Utah-based Autonomous Solutions, and isn't quite like the totally autonomous vehicles being developed by companies like Google and Audi for use out in the real world. Rather, Ford's autonomous test vehicles follow a pre-programmed course and their position is tracked via GPS and cameras that are being monitored from a central control room. Though the route is predetermined, the robotic control module operates the steering, acceleration and braking to keep the vehicle on course as it drives over broken concrete, cobblestones, metal grates, rough gravel, mud pits and oversize speed bumps.
Scroll down to watch the robotic drivers in action, though be warned that you're headed for disappointment if you expect to see a Centurion behind the wheel (nerd alert!). The setup looks more like a Mythbusters experiment than a scene from Battlestar Galactica.
