2001 Ford F-350 F350 4 Door Xlt on 2040-cars
Edgewater, Florida, United States
More infos regarding my car at: freddieglossner@juno.com .
This is a one owner Florida truck, with 140,000 highway miles. As you can see in the pic's, it was well taken care
of. The 10 ply Michelin tires have approx 7,000 highway miles. All service was done either at Sarasota Ford
(location of purchase), or a Ford certified mechanic. When I bought the truck, I pulled the cloth mats, and have
now placed them back in the truck. Essentially, the mats are 'brand-new'. This truck has been my baby since day
one. I have changed profession, and simply do not use the truck enough to justify keeping it, or I certainly would.
Since changing profession, I invested in a Super Chip Tuner to increase fuel mileage, so the tuner comes with the
truck. To date, we have replaced the starter, (obviously) replaced tires, (obviously) changed oil, replaced brake
calipers, serviced (changed fluid & filter) transmission per manufacturer recommendation (and sooner then
recommended), replaced front shocks, and replaced batteries. This is a strong truck in immaculate condition that is
ready to pull whatever you hook up to it! This truck has never been in an accident, and is road and work ready. In
addition, it has never been smoked in. Don't let this rare truck get passed up! There are a couple smalls dents in
tail gate, and an imperfection in hood paint (see pic). Tool box and two keys/fobs included.

MyFord Touch getting buttons and knobs back to counter criticisms
Mon, 17 Jun 2013Ford deserves credit for being a front-runner in offering advanced infotainment technology with its Sync and MyFord Touch systems, but continued consumer complaints over its confusing touchscreen interface and capacitive controls has made the automaker relent. The Wall Street Journal reports that physical buttons and knobs for controlling tuning and volume will be coming back to Ford vehicles equipped with the controversial infotainment system.
The 2013 F-150 with MyFord Touch gives us a glimpse of what the new layout with buttons and knobs might look like, as Ford says a similar balance of touch screen capability and buttons/knobs are what's being planned for future models. And, while capacitive controls have no fans in the halls of Autoblog, many of Ford's models with MyFord Touch do have a large physical knob for adjusting volume with integrated buttons for tuning and advancing tracks, though most of those are models with the optional upgraded Sony Audio system. Lincoln models with MyLincoln Touch, however, feature only capacitive controls for all stereo and climate functions.
Despite receiving enough complaints to throw buttons and knobs back into the mix (a move that reminds us of BMW's iDrive trajectory, among others), Ford reports that Sync and MyFord Touch have still been sold on 79 percent of its 2013 model year vehicles, a number it claims is double the rate that Honda and Toyota are getting for their infotainment systems. Ford also states that owners who do opt for the duo of technologies are more satisfied with overall vehicle quality than those who don't have it.

2015 Ford Focus sedan shows its fresh face in New York
Wed, 16 Apr 2014That handsome fellow you see above is the 2015 Ford Focus sedan. We liked the looks of the 2014 Focus, and the updates for 2015 only improve things to our eyes, with the adoption of the Aston Martin-inspired grille that has been permeating Ford's lineup these last few years. Sweeping, slightly bulbous headlamps join a revised, more demure lower grille opening to round out the styling updates up front. The rest of the car's look is just slightly massaged, including new taillamp clusters that look much like they did last year.
New for 2015 is the availability of Ford's 1.0-liter three-cylinder EcoBoost engine, mated exclusively to a six-speed manual transmission. There's also a new SE Sport Package that adds more aggressive suspension tuning, paddle shifters (when equipped with Ford's six-speed dual-clutch automatic) and a few body kit bits and pieces. Rounding out the mechanical changes are an updated electronic steering rack that promises better feel, suspension tweaks to make the ride more comfortable and some software updates designed to make the dual-clutch gearbox better behave itself.
In addition, inside there are a few interior upgrades, as well as some added comfort and safety tech that includes available blind-spot detection and lane-keeping assist, along with other more incremental changes that all add up to a better vehicle. We suggest you check out the official press release below for all the details, but not before scrolling through our image gallery of live shots above.
