This auction is for a 1996 Ford F-350 XLT SRW Regular Cab 4X4. The truck has a 7.5 liter gas motor backed by a 4 speed electronic automatic transmission. The truck has 111k miles. I bought the truck last summer with 109k miles. Since I purchased the truck I put $1300.00 worth of wheels and tires. A $1500.00 kenwood / infinity sound system. I just had a shop here in town put on new head gaskets, a/c compressor, and front brakes for $1600.00. That work was done on 3/22/2013. It is very hard to come buy a 17 year old truck in this condition. There are a few marks on the tailgate and one on the hood (please see pictures). I would highly advise that you make arrangements to view the truck prior to bidding. It appears to be the original paint. This is a 100% rust free west coast truck. Wrap up some fun with Ford's commercial vehicle configurator
Tue, 27 Aug 2013Ford has combined multiple steps into one with its commercial vehicle configurator, which allows users to choose, design and place orders for the Transit, Transit Connect, E-Series vans and F-Series Super Duty trucks.
The most interesting part of the new configurator is a fairly robust design tool. Users are able to choose paint color and wrap the vehicle, and then create their own graphics. No materials are needed - Ford provides numerous background textures, text boxes, plenty of shapes and 20 categories of images including floral, construction, plumbing and skylines. Self-created designs or images can be uploaded to the system as well.

California Man Reunited 33 Years Later With Thunderbird
Wed, Sep 3 2014A California man was at a loss for words when he was reunited with his prized 1964 Ford Thunderbird on Tuesday, 33 years after it was stolen from a bar parking lot. Gary Chartrand could hardly believe how well his old Thunderbird held up in the last three decades. The odometer had only added about 1,000 miles from when he last saw the car back in the 1980s. "A few bumps and bruises but boy, not much changed," Chartrand told KOVR. Chartrand bought the car as a present to himself after finalizing his divorce from his wife of 10 years in 1981. It disappeared one night from the parking lot of a Sacramento bar where he was working. Police found Chartrand's car 750 miles north in Washington State.
