1966 Ford F250 Custom Cab 2 wheel drive with 4 speed. This is a very solid truck with the original 352 engine and 4 speed transmission completely and professionally overhauled less than 1200 miles ago. With that installation, of course, was a new clutch, pressure plate, flywheel and harmonic balancer matched to the crankshaft. The ignition has been upgraded to electronic. The carburetor was rebuilt in a professional shop on 08-25-13 and the new Dunlop tires were installed on 08-31-13. The intake is a four barrel, however a two barrel carburetor with adapter plate is currently installed. I have the original four barrel that will go to the new owner along with the four tires recently removed, as well as many other spare parts.
Installed last winter are dual piston front calipers and disk brakes, along with a dual diaphragm 7 inch power brake booster. The entire front suspension was removed and new bearings, bushings, shocks, and updated I beams were installed. The posi rear end was serviced and new seals and bearings were installed along with new rear shocks. Also, there is now a new power steering unit and radiator. The heater box, fan, motor, and heater core are new, and if the new owner wishes, my shop will install a complete R134 A/C system for an additional $1200.
Everything installed on the truck is in good working order. The mileage may or may not be accurate. This is a used vehicle. It has normal wear and tear - a few scratches and dents. It is however a very dependable truck that probably will haul anything you want to put in it. I drive it often and have never had any issues. With that said, I do not offer any warranty stated or implied to anyone that purchases this truck. It is also for sale locally and I reserve the right to end this auction at any time.
A non-refundable $500 deposit is due within 48 hours of auction end.

Want to buy a brand-new 1964 Ford Mustang? [w/video]
Wed, Mar 18 2015Even in its current iteration, the Ford Mustang is not without its share of heritage design cues. But if it's a more classic look of the first-gen pony car you're after, combined with modern levels of equipment, Revology just might have the answer. The Orlando-based company makes what you might call "continuation" Mustangs, using replica steel bodies made by Dynacorn and licensed by Ford to give it that classic look, but with modern technology. Under the skin you'll find a 5.0-liter fuel-injected V8 with 265 horsepower and either a five-speed manual or four-speed automatic transmission, but the powertrain is just the start. It's also got a MacPherson strut suspension, disc brakes, power steering and a cabin equipped with such modern accoutrements as power door locks and seats, keyless entry, intermittent wipers, even Bluetooth connectivity. And it's all covered by a one-year, unlimited-milage warranty, plus five-year corrosion protection and three-year powertrain warranty. Of course none of that comes cheap, as a turnkey Revology Mustang will set you back at least $119,500, in the buyer's choice of fastback or convertible body-styles. The first example was unveiled at the Amelia Island Concours d'Elegance this past weekend, with the first customer examples set for delivery next year. This content is hosted by a third party. Watch the Hennessey Ford GT makes its record run at Texas Mile
Wed, 27 Mar 2013We said they'd probably be out with an official video, we did not lie. The Hennessey-powered camouflage Ford GT sat at one end of the runway at the Texas Mile sitting still. At the other end of the runway it had broken its own speed record, the twin-turbo 5.7-liter V8 pushing the aerodynamic supercar up to 267.6 miles per hour, a 4.3-mph improvement over the old mark.
There's not much in the video you haven't already seen, this just makes it official. That said, who doesn't want to see a twin-turbo Ford GT set an incredible speed record? You can watch it below.
Ford Focus EV's slow sales trigger massive incentives
Fri, 25 Jan 2013The Detroit News reports Ford is having real trouble moving its new Focus Electric. As a result, the automaker is offering substantial incentives in an attempt to lure in more buyers. How substantial? Try $10,750 off of a three-year lease. What's more, the EV can now be had for $37,995 ($2,000 less than its original base price) on top of an additional $2,000 cash discount to buy the EV outright - or you can opt for 1.9-percent financing if you work through Ford Motor Credit. None of which factors in various potential government incentives. Last year, Ford managed to sell a paltry 685 of the 1,627 Focus EV hatchbacks it built.
Ford isn't alone in trying to woo more buyers to its EV effort. Nissan cut the price of its Leaf by a whopping 18 percent for 2013, now down to $28,800 and built in the USA. The move followed the automaker's substantial incentives in 2012.
If you want a Focus Electric, you can now apparently get your hands on one for as little as $285 per month with $930 due at signing for a 36-month lease with 10,500 miles per year.
