Selling a 2003 Ford F250 Lariat 2wd. Truck is equipped with the 7.3L Powerstroke turbo diesel engine. Has 173,817 miles which is good miles for this truck. I just changed the oil on (4/21/14). Good clean carfax (2 owners, no wrecks). This truck has the Lariat package with Leather seats(which are in good shape, no tears but some light wear), power windows, power locks, FM/AM with CD player, aftermarket exhaust, spray in bed liner, and has a lot more to offer. This truck has every service record in detail from 34,000 miles to 173,000 miles. Tires are in great shape but two different sets. The back are wider with more of a off road grip. The wider tires in the back help with traction. The tires in the front are newer. The truck rides good. The exterior paint on the truck is in good shape for its age. There is a ding above the back passenger side tire and the previous owner did have a small patch put on the roof to repair a spot where the paint bubbled up (not noticeable from the ground and does not take away from this gorgeous truck). I believe the ding over the back tire can easily be repaired, though I have not checked into where I can get it fixed. This is also a small patch behind the drivers seat on the carpet where it is not a hole but is missing some carpet fiber (probably 1.5inx2.5in). Trucks starts right up. The transmission shifts out smooth. The A/C and heater both work. Everything power works inside the truck(seats, windows, locks, radio, cruise control). The computer on the roof on still reads and works properly. Original owners manuals are still with trucks as also the 3 pages of detailed service records. Windshield was replaced not too long ago.
This truck is a great truck and would no doubt make it across the country. You can call me with any questions at 985-515-9247. My name is Mitch. I drive this truck daily so mileage will go up. This truck is also for sale locally. Please contact me before hitting the buy it now if your rating on ebay is a (0). It is the costumers responsibility to inspect the truck before purchasing. Upon purchasing, a $500 deposit is due within 48 hours. The remaining balance is due within 5 business days. This is great truck ready to roll!!

Ford Recalls '13 Escape For 11th Time
Fri, Aug 15 2014Only in dealer showrooms for two years now, the 2013 Ford Escape has already been recalled for safety hazards 11 times. The most recent recall for the beleaguered vehicle came Friday, when the company announced it was recalling almost 160,000 Escapes and Focus ST hatchbacks from the '13 and '14 model years because of a wiring problem that could cause the engine to stall. Caused by a faulty wiring harness, Ford said the defect could result in reduced power, hesitation or outright stalling. The company said it knew of no crashes or injuries caused by the flaw. Customers affected will be notified by mail. It was the latest problem for a vehicle beset by recalls from the moment it started rolling off the assembly lines. Starting on July 6, 2012, the '13 Escapes have been recalled for an assortment of problems, including multiple hazards with fuel lines that could result in engine fires, fluid leaks in the engine that could also result in fires, problems with engines overheating, delays in airbags deploying and more. Chris Harris checks out Ken Block's Hoonicorn '65 Mustang
Thu, Dec 4 2014Ken Block's Hoonicorn, which stars in Gymkhana Seven, might still bear a passing resemblance to a vintage 1965 Ford Mustang, but underneath the skin, the car is one of the baddest custom machines to ever do a smoky burnout on the road. The ever enthusiastic British auto journalist Chris Harris is now showing what really makes Block's new ride tick on video, and Harris even gets to go for quite a ride. The only Mustang components really left on the Hoonicorn are the A-pillar, B-pillar and roof, according to Harris. Everything else is ditched to create Block's ultimate Gymkhana tool. The 845-horsepower, 6.7-liter Rousch Yates V8 sits behind the front axle, and the grunt is routed to all four wheels through a Sadev gearbox usually found on Dakar Rally vehicles. The whole drivetrain is packed with cool little touches; like that giant handbrake that also disconnects power from the front wheels when in use. The superlatives about the Hoonicorn could go on forever, but settle in and let a very excited Harris tell you about just some of them. He's like a kid in a candy store here, and the look that combines surprise, fear and joy during his ride with Block is the kind that lacks a suitable word in the English language.
Hurricane Sandy cost automakers 15,000 vehicles, may have ruined up to 200k
Wed, 07 Nov 2012Hurricane Sandy was the largest Atlantic storm in US history, and its total economic impact is just now coming into view. According to Automotive News, Toyota, Chrysler, Nissan and Honda are set to scrap around 15,000 new vehicles ruined by the storm. Nissan alone accounts for about 40 percent of those, with 6,000 Nissan and Infiniti models deeded "un-saleable" due to damage. The company saw 56 dealerships shuttered due to the storm, but 51 of those have since reopened.
Toyota, meanwhile, had some 4,000 vehicles at its Newark port facility, and of those, 3,000 may be scrapped. An additional 825 were dealer inventory when they were ruined. Honda and Acura dealers are reportedly sending 3,440 vehicles to the salvage yard. By comparison, Chrysler weathered the storm fairly well with 825 units destroyed, while Hyundai suffered only 400 lost units and Kia scrapped around 200.
As you may recall, Fisker also suffered some losses, and Automotive News reports the manufacturer saw 320 Karma models damaged beyond repair. Ford and General Motors have yet to come up with estimates, and no automaker has commented on the full cost of replacing the vehicles.
