Very rare opportunity here. I am selling my truck because I really dont need this much truck. Most of the mileage was put on in the first 3 or 4 years. After that it ranged fro 2k -5k in a year. It only got that because I did not want it sitting and developing problems.
If you are seriously interested, contact me, I will end auction early until if and when reserve is met.
I will say up front that I know the price is premium. It is a premium condition truck and I have no intention of giving it away. I have been watching and it is a super rare occasion that a regular cab truck comes available that is not worked to death. The truck was not detailed for pics or to sell. I took it out of the garage to take the pics and put it back. It stays this clean and stays inside.
Please bid only if you have the funds available to follow through. E bay is not cheap and if it meets reserve the final fees kick in.
Try finding this set up anywhere, chances are slim. If you want a regular cab loaded truck, Get it now. You will be very hard pressed to find a 10 year old truck in this condition. That being said, I dont have to sell it, but I would really like to see it used more for what it is. You can get in it right now and tow your camper, boat, or whatever, or you can hop in and go coast to coast. I is a very comfortable truck to drive. It is very easy to enter and exit with the grab handles and exterior steps.
The inside of the bed is used. I bought it for a truck, not a 34 thousand dollar people transport. There are scratches and probably some small dents in there. With the tonnea, you dont see them. If you have issues with the scratches, have it rhino lined. There is no rust in the cargo area.
Everything on the truck works just as it did when new.
I orderd this truck myself and have been the only driver on it since new. Actually my wife drove it a few times. It was never loaned out. Witht the exception of being in for service it was never out of my control.
Unless I was away with it, it never sat outside. It has been a garaged vehicle since new. The only option not on the truck is the back up sensors in the bumper. Not really sure why I did not just have them put on also. Every other option and package available was put on the truck when ordered.
The pictures are very self explanatory. You will be hard pressed to find a match to this truck. To this day I will be asked if it is new. Obviously it is normally people who dont know the visual difference of the newer models. Condition wise this is a solid 9.5 out of 10.
The top of the cab is just under 7 ft so it will fit in a 7 ft garage door. It is a 137 inch wheelbase
First the flaws. Left front corner of hood there is a small ding which I got on the PA turnpike last year. No idea what is was but sounded like a boulder hit it. easy repair but not without paint. Not very noticeable unless you are looking for it. The tailgate has two or 3 small dings from yours truly backing into a mailbox. These will come out with dent wizard but again you have to look for them.
On the interior there is a very fine scratch on the passenger side dash in the plastic caused by a buddy.
Thats it, the rest is as close to brand new condition as you can get.
Original Items; 8800 gvwr package
All power, A/C, windows, locks, power and heated mirrors, power pedals,6 way drivers power seat, Interval wipers, cruise control, AM/FM/Casette/ single CD, Tilt wheel
Options included
Trailer tow package.
Package 607A 6.8 L V10 engine, 4 speed automatic transmission,3.73 axle ratios with limited slip rear
Advanced security group Auto locks, auto headlights, Remote keyless entry
Bright tubular cab steps sliding rear window Camper package-rear stabilizer bar
FX4 Package Skid plates roof lights Deluxe aluminum wheels ( removed after about 2-3 years, come with truck, still look brand new)
Snow plow package Trailer hitch receiver, cloth captain chairs,
I ordered the manual front hubs and the manual 4wd shifter. I do not like the automatic and electronic crap. I have several friends who have had nothing but issues with the electronic.
The reason I had all of the available packages put on was that each one had something different in it.
This truck is sitting bare bones stock. It sits higher than my buddies F350 because of the spring packages.
Items I added
Tires and wheels. The tires DO NOT RUB. They are in excellent shape. One year I had it in the mountains and had bad weather. I got sick and did not get it cleaned for a few weeks. The wheels got a little corrosion on them that you can see if you look close at the pics. The original wheels are premium high polished aluminum and come with the truck if you want them.
Rear air assist air bags, can be seen in the pics. I run 5-8 lbs in them so that it does not drop when my quad is in the back. They do not harshen the ride.
Side and rear windows are tinted
Rear tonneau cover, May not be snapped in pics, but it is now and the print marks you see in the pics is from being rolled up. They do come out.
I changed my brakes and rotors just because of age, The pads were still 80% or better. I put slotted/dimpled rotors which have a lifetime no warp warranty. I do not know if it is transferrable.
It has a K&N air filter
Brake controller mounted I believe with velcro in the little cubby hole in the dash.
I have used Mobil one synthetic oil since after break in. It does not use any oil at all and has NO leaks.
Performance on the V10 is very impressive. The engine does not have to work hard at all. Around town and any towing will be 10 MPG just about always consistent. On the highway I have seen 14 MPG but again that is Highway running 65-75 mph. When I bought the truck I made chart comparisons with V10 vs diesel. Although the diesel hp and torque were higher, In the long run it never would have paid off for me. The cost of the diesel option, the extra cost of servicing and the fact that the fuel mileage is very comparible with diesel, and being 40 cents average higher per gallon, it did not make sense. This is my 2nd V10 and I would do it all over again. I have seen the banks Performance package numbers which wake this engine up even more.
Canadian buyers responsible for any paperwork to cross the border and all arrangements.
Local pick up. If you want it shipped its up to you, I will be available for shipper to pick it up. I can deliver for a fee depending where to. All money must be clear before truck is released. If you have concerns, I urge anyone to have a third party inspection. I will take it to any local shop of your choice.
10 yers old so no warranty expressed or implied, as is so be sure before you bid.
Any questions I can and will answer. I reserve the right to end auction early for any reason. If we meet reserve the auction will not end early so again I would ask you to bid only if you can follow through.

Best cars for snow and ice in 2023 and 2024
Tue, Jan 23 2024What's the best car for snow? The real answer is "the one with winter tires." What do we mean by that? You could have the finest, most advanced all-wheel-drive system or four-wheel drive in the world, but if you're running all-seasons (the spork of tires), your fancy four-wheeler won't matter much. The odds are, any vehicle on the road running good winter tires will probably perform adequately in slippery, slushy and/or snowy road conditions. (Here's a more complete explanation of why winter tires are totally worth it). In other words, you don't really need any of the cars on this list. With a set of winter tires, countless others will do the job, and even these will be at their best with proper rubber. You can find a variety of winter tires for your car here at Tire Rack. Keep in mind that you will need a full set of four snow tires for safety and performance, no matter what you're driving. The days of your dad putting just two snows on the family truckster to get it moving in a straight line are long gone. Don't get us wrong, getting a car that performs well in snow and ice is still a worthy criteria for car buyers. According to the U.S. Transportation Department, 70% of Americans live in places that get snow and ice. And much of the country has been blasted with arctic air for much of the new year. So let's look at the cars. First, we're highlighting choices for a variety of buyers and price points. Second, we're not just considering snow; we're considering general wintery conditions people will experience driving to work or school. As such, these are all choices with advanced all-wheel-drive systems, usually with "torque-vectoring" systems that not only automatically shunt power front and back, but side to side between the rear axles. Most have extra ground clearance for getting through deep snow, and we prefer those vehicles with more responsive steering, throttles and transmissions that provide a greater sense of vehicle control in slippery conditions.  Acura RDX Read our Acura RDX Review Acura's Super-Handling All-Wheel Drive system was one of the first to offer torque-vectoring, and besides often being touted for its ability to greatly enhanced dry-road handling, its benefits in the slick stuff can be profound. It's actually surprising that Acura hasn't leaned into this capability further by offering more rugged versions of its vehicles.
Ford gives police chiefs tech to surveil officers in their own cars
Tue, 28 Oct 2014Police officers certainly have a difficult job in keeping the streets safe, but as public employees in positions of authority, there is still a very real need for oversight. To that end, Ford is partnering with a tech company to offer a new system called Ford Telematics for Law Enforcement on its line of Police Interceptor patrol vehicles that could make cops safer, while giving cities a better idea of what its officers are doing.
The system streams live data about cruisers back to the home base to people like the police chief or shift supervisor. That info includes expected things like speed, location and cornering acceleration, but it gets incredibly granular as well, with records of things like if emergency lights are on, or even if an officer is wearing a seatbelt.
Ford Telematics for Law Enforcement "ought to protect officers as much as it protects the public," said Ford spokesperson Chris Terry to Autoblog. Constantly monitoring patrol cars offers cities a lot of advantages, too. First, it reduces potential liability because a department can prove where each vehicle is at all times. Also, officers know they are being watched and may potentially drive more safely.
How the Ram Multifunction Tailgate compares to Ford, GMC, Honda
Wed, Feb 6 2019Ram just announced its Multifunction Tailgate — a descriptive if not very creative name. It's an asymmetrical barn-door arrangement, which can both fold down like a conventional tailgate or swing open like a gate. There's a new bed step, but unlike Ford or GM, the step isn't part of the tailgate itself. Rather, it kicks out from under the bumper (as opposed to out from under the driver's side of the rear bumper in its previous incarnation). So let's just focus on the tailgate functionality. A video of the Ram Multifunction Tailgate in action is above. For one, either of the swinging tailgate sections can be opened independently. They open to a full 88 degrees. In conventional flip-down mode, the tailgate works just like a normal one, too, with a 2,000-pound rating. The bottom line is that while it gives a variety of types of access to the load area, it doesn't "do" anything else. It's a $995 option on any Ram 1500. Its closest analogue is the Honda Ridgeline, which works basically the same way, but on that truck the tailgate swings as one piece. And the Honda's load rating isn't as hefty as the Ram's tailgate: 300 pounds. As Honda says, that's sufficient to hold the weight of the part of an ATV hanging out of the bed, or something similar, but it's a lighter-duty unit (and a lighter-duty truck) than the Ram's overall. Let's also get Ford's one-trick tailgate out of the way before comparing to the more analogous, and complicated, GM MultiPro. A bit of trivia: Ford's optional Tailgate Step is actually designed and supplied by Multimatic, better known as the outfit that builds the Ford GT and produces the DSSV spool-valve shocks. This step has been available for years. It pulls out of the top edge of the tailgate when the tailgate is lowered, deploying a single step. A separate handle pulls out from beside the step and flips up, giving a handhold. While it was initially (and infamously) mocked by competitors, with load floor heights as high as they are it's better than toting around a stepstool. It's currently a $375 standalone option. Now we get to the GMC MultiPro tailgate, the most complicated and multi-functioned around. It's essentially a tailgate within a tailgate, with a fold-out stopper that deploys from the inner tailgate. This gives it several functions depending on the position of all the parts. It can still be used like a normal tailgate, dropping down at the push of a button or using the key fob.
