1999 ford f-250. Has the legendary 7.3 powerstroke diesel that runs great. All the injectors are good, the glow plugs work great, doesn't use oil, no smoke, no programmers, has a banks wastegate and a cold air intake that's the only mods. The trans is a automatic and shifts as it should. The 4x4 works great. The air blows ice cold and the heat works good. The tires are at about 30% tread left. The truck has aftermarket aluminum wheels. It drives good its not all over the road and wore out. Steers nice and tight. The brakes are good. No check engine lights. The shifter is loose, its a common problem on these trucks. It goes in gear fine its just kinda loose. The interior is in good shape, has bucket seats and a console. The paint is all original and has its flaws, the drivers side cab corner is rusty and the bottoms of the doors have rust(see pictures), the rest of the truck including the frame is rust free. There are various dents and light scratches but overall its in good shape, has a ball in the bed and reese hitch on the back. If you are looking for a lower mileage 7.3 that wont break the bank this is the truck for you. Ive put about 500 miles on the truck using it for personal use so I know it well. The truck has exactly 155,989 miles. It has a clean/clear title never wrecked. The truck is for sale locally so if you want to buy it before the auction ends then give me a call or text. There is no warranty. If you live to far away to pick the truck up in person I have a shipper that will bring the truck to your door, I've sold lots of vehicles this way call or text me for a quote. I will accept cash in person, cashiers check(once cleared), or wire transfer. If you win the auction I ask that you atleast call me 24hr after it ends to let me know you are serious, if not I may sell to someone else if they are interested. Im listing it to sale so please only bid if you are serious because the high bid wins. If you have any questions or concerns call me (Jordan) at 606-305-2885.

Autoblog Minute: Ford Ranger may return to US

Wed, Aug 26 2015

Is Ford planning to bring back its midsize Ranger pickup to the US? Autoblog's Adam Morath reports on this edition of Autoblog Minute. Show full video transcript text [00:00:00] Is Ford planning to bring back its midsize Ranger pickup to the U.S? I'm Adam Morath, and this is your Autoblog Minute. The Detroit News reports that Ford is planning to build its Ranger Pickup truck at the Michigan Assembly Plant in 2018, citing unnamed sources with knowledge of Ford's plans during its ongoing negotiations with the UAW. Autoblog reached out to Ford for comment. [00:00:30] Quote: "We will move production of the next-generation Ford Focus and C-MAX, which currently are built at Michigan Assembly Plant, beginning in 2018. We actively are pursuing future vehicle alternatives to produce at Michigan Assembly and will discuss this issue with UAW leadership as part of the upcoming negotiations." The 2011 Ranger was the last model-year available in the U.S., though Ford currently sells its redesigned Ranger overseas, including in Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia Pacific. [00:01:00] With pickup sales on the rise, and the recent critical success of GM's Chevy Colorado midsize truck, the time may be right to revive the Ranger, but compact and midsize trucks only make up a small percentage of sales in America. Truck fans out there, let us know what you think: Can the Ford Ranger continue to revive the compact and midsize pickup market in the U.S? Or, will full-size work trucks like the F-150 continue to dominate? Sound off in the comments. For Autoblog, I'm Adam Morath. Autoblog Minute is a short-form video news series reporting on all things automotive. Each segment offers a quick and clear picture of what's happening in the automotive industry from the perspective of Autoblog's expert editorial staff, auto executives, and industry professionals.

1 in 7 Americans say they might buy an EV next, as sales of electrics surge

Wed, Apr 26 2017

About one in seven driving Americans may likely purchase an electric vehicle as their next car, according to an AAA poll, meaning that as many as 30 million Americans may pony up for an EV within the next three to five years. While some of the motivation is environmental, survey recipients say that lower maintenance expenses and solo access to high-occupancy-vehicle lanes are also among the factors behind potentially going electric. Take a look at the AAA press release on the study here. The poll indicates that about as many people are planning to buy an EV for their next car as are looking to buy a pickup, which is impressive given that the best-selling US vehicle is the Ford F-150. And things should only improve, as about 20 percent of millennials polled said that their next car would probably be an EV. The results are all the more encouraging, at least among green-car advocates, because gas prices have fallen about 40 percent within the past five years, meaning that there's less of an incentive to go electric from a purely economic perspective. Through the first quarter of this year, US plug-in vehicle sales were up about 63 percent from a year earlier to about 39,000 vehicles. Meanwhile, when it came to AAA's annual green-vehicle awards for this year, Tesla's Model S and Model X took the large car and SUV categories, respectively, while the Chevrolet Bolt and Volkswagen e-Golf were listed atop the subcompact and compact lists. The Lexus GS 450h hybrid and the Ford F-150 took home AAA's best green vehicle in the midsize and pickup truck categories. Related Video:

2015 Ford F-150 configurator is ready to go to work

Thu, 25 Sep 2014

Ford is inching towards the on-sale date for the eagerly anticipated, aluminum F-150 pickup. While we're preparing to drive the new truck (expect our take on it sooner rather than later), the best-seller has reached another, albeit more minor, milestone as its online configurator has officially been switched on.
We took to Ford's consumer website to mess about with it and see just how ridiculous of a truck we can build. Among the fun things we discovered were these two nuggets - the most expensive truck we could configure was not the top-end Platinum model, but instead the King Ranch, which rang up at $65,955. The other exciting discovery? The new truck would be available in a questionable shade called Blue Jeans (shown above with the optional contrasting Caribou paint). Yep, Blue Jeans.
You can head over to Ford's consumer page and build your very own aluminum F-150 now. Take a look.
