This truck had been fleet maintained almost it's entire life. I'm the second owner, previous owner was the University of Delaware. I've kept up maintenance as well. This is very low miles for a 7.3L and I've replaced a lot of odds and ends. This truck is ready to go and keep going (for at least another 150k!). The cam sensor has been replaced within the last year and a half. Additionally I have replaced the brake lines throughout, brakes and oil, I-beam bushings, steering box, left inner tie rod, and a brake caliper.
Details:
Regular cab
Cold AC (been working since I've had it, no need to recharge) / Warm heat (they work fast in the small cab)
2WD
154,xxx original miles on engine and trans
Duel tanks
Stahl Challenger X utility bed (all locks work perfectly)
Rhino liner throughout the whole bed
3 Spd with overdrive
Utility light (works great)

Get the best of both worlds with power and utility but great gas mileage.
*This is a work truck, it has dings, dents, and scratches that may not have shown up well on my phone's camera.

Ford recalls 277,000 Super Duty trucks over foggy rear-view camera
Thu, Sep 1 2022Ford has issued a recall that applies to around 277,000 units of the Super Duty pickup built between the 2017 and 2020 model years. The campaign also includes about 13,000 units of the Lincoln Continental, and it aims to fix an issue that makes the rear-view camera foggy. Assigned recall number 22V-644 by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), the recall includes 139,131 units of the F-250, 109,960 units of the F-350, 14,830 units of the F-450, and 13,119 units of the Continental. The affected trucks are all fitted with the Ultimate Trailer Tow Camera system and were built between November 12, 2015, and March 10, 2020, while the affected Lincoln models are equipped with the 360-degree camera and were made from November 30, 2015 to March 10, 2020. Ford explains "degradation of the coating on an internal rear-view camera lens can lead to a progressively foggy or cloudy image." It adds ultraviolet radiation causes the problem and that this issue increases the risk of an accident, though it's not aware of accidents or injuries. Owners of affected cars and trucks who have already paid to get the issue fixed have until September 30, 2022, to ask Ford for a refund. The company will begin notifying customers about the recall by mail on September 12, 2022, and it will ask them to take their vehicle to the nearest authorized dealer to get the rear-view camera replaced free of charge. Jay Leno sees how the other half lives with CHP cop cars new and old
Mon, 01 Jul 2013Comedian Jay Leno is changing gears from driving fast cars to checking out some of the police cruisers that regularly chase down and dish out punishment to those fast cars. In this episode of Jay Leno's Garage, we get the lowdown on the modifications made to the Ford Explorer for the Interceptor package (which looks pretty tough in its California Highway Patrol livery).
The new Ford is cool, but cooler still are the pack of classic CHP cars that Jay has along for the episode. A 1982 Mustang, 1966 Dodge Polara, 1970 Mercury Monterey and 2000 Crown Victoria are all in the shop. Better still, Jay lays out an argument for ones of the classic cruisers as the best cop car of all time. Get your guesses in now, and then scroll down to watch and learn.
