Truck can be seen at 2911 Ferguson Street SW, Tumwater, WA. Please 8am-5pm only. Feel free to take a look, keys are nearby for closer viewing. Please call 3605297584 or 3605560766 for more info, please keep phone calls to appropriate hours of the day. Not sure what this truck is worth as KBB does not go back to 1990. Our truck is a 1990 F-250 extended cab 4x4 with the older very reliable naturally aspirated non turbo 7.3 diesel. These engines last forever and I have been told are better than the newer power stroke engines. The trans is an automatic, has A/C, power windows and locks, power steering, manual locking front hubs and a tailgate and bumper set up for 5th wheel towing. There is an RV plug in the bed and one on the bumper. A camper would also work well, it has a couple of extra tie downs. The tires are almost brand new have Les Schwab receipts. I was told the previous owner invested over $7000 ( Shop labor and parts ) into this truck to make it safe and reliable to tow a 5th wheel. After one trip they decided to buy a quad cab as they had kids and needed more room. We bought the truck to tow our 30 foot 5th wheel but we are now forced to sell the 5th wheel and won't be needing the truck. We towed our trailer once last summer on a local camping trip and the truck did great. The body is a bit rough, mainly the bed but the drivetrain is solid. The engine had leaky valve cover gaskets but we had those done last summer, there is some residual oil from the valve cover leak as we never had the engine cleaned.. The odometer shows 03XXX, we don't know if that is 103K or 203K. Would be a great work truck or camper or 5th wheel hauler.

Livestream: Ricardo Innovation & Sustainability Symposium 2015

Thu, Mar 19 2015

Making decisions on how to invest billions of dollars in future technology is scary even if you're developing something as simple as a smartphone. But when you've got to invest that money in something as complex as a car – one that might drive itself, or operate just on electricity, or even possibly be crash-proof – that task becomes daunting. Today, at 9:00AM, a slate of auto industry leaders are gathering at automotive supplier Ricardo to celebrate the company's 100-year anniversary by looking toward the future. Moderated by Autoblog Editor-in-Chief Sharon Carty, the panel will talk about Ford's vision for the future, look at battery development, environmental issues, and may even debate the future of flying cars. Maybe. If you're interested in following along, take a look at the livestream. Government/Legal Green Ford Technology Emerging Technologies Videos ricardo Sakti3

2014 Ford Cobra Jet announced with new colors, parachute mount

Fri, 22 Mar 2013

Ford's drag-strip-ready Mustang Cobra Jet is back for 2014, and it's sporting a few changes to make it even better - both in competition and while sitting still. Rolling off the assembly line ready for duty in the NHRA Stock or Super Stock classes, production of the 2014 Cobra Jet is limited to just 50 units.
Racing upgrades for 2014 include the addition of a new three-speed transmission and a parachute mount, and while these will make the car better in the quarter mile, the Cobra Jet's new colors will make it look better tearing down the track. Buyers can now get their racecars painted up in Gotta Have-It Green or a custom, Cobra Jet-exclusive matte black hue. Ford and Ford Racing have already teamed up to make this an incredible factory drag racer with a full rollcage, massive Hoosier slicks, a race-tuned suspension setup and a supercharged 5.0-liter V8. Now, if only wheelie bars came standard...
Unlike the confusing third-party ordering system announced for the COPO Camaro, all you need to snatch up a 2014 Cobra Jet is $97,990 and good timing (as the cars will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis). Ordering opens up next month with production commencing in July. Check out the press release below.

Ford Transit Skyliner Concept is a Gulfstream for the road

Sat, 12 Apr 2014

If you are afraid to fly or just want to arrive at your ultimate destination in absolute comfort, then the Ford Transit Skyliner concept might be the perfect vehicle for you. Built by Galpin Auto Sports and based on a 2015 Transit, the van is basically a private jet on wheels. It even has a touch of Transformers about it with the ability to switch between four modes by pressing a button in a smartphone app.
Based on the long wheelbase, high-roof model with 487 cubic feet of cargo space and 6 feet, 9.5 inches of interior height, the Skyliner has movable captains chairs that shift around among four modes. In theater mode, the seats turn and recline to face a 52-inch retractable movie screen with 7.2 surround sound. For business, a motorized table unfolds, and the chairs gather around it. There is a mode for tailgating where the door opens four-feet wide, and, when traveling, passengers can recline back with footrests that extend for maximum comfort.
To make the ride even plusher, there is a satellite and media server to meet your entertainment needs, and there is even a built-in bar in the back. If this Ford had a bathroom, you could live in it. Of course, you would need to hire a driver to enjoy all the amenities in the back.
