Hello,

There are 24 Pictures on EBay. I have about 28 more that I can email you if you are interested.

I can store the truck if you need time to pick it up. Just let me know your situation. Storing is free on my property. Thanks.

I have a 1977 Ford F250 Super Cab Short Bed. It has the Factory 460 Engine, Factory C6 Transmission and DANA Rear end with 3.54 Gears.

I would get in this truck today and drive it anywhere. I have made several trips up and down the east coast picking up stuff with it.

I believe the miles are correct on this truck. I have had it for about 10 years. I bought it from the neighbor of the original owner who passed away and kept the truck under a lean to shelter in North Carolina. I bought the truck while I was in the Air Force stationed in NC.

Truck has factory AC, Power Steering, Power Brakes with Big Disc up front, C6 Automatic Transmission, Factory Installed Transmission Cooler, Dual Exhaust, Towing Hitch with Quick Disconnect wiring plug, Factory Step Bumper.

I have added the following: MSD 6AL Box, MSD Distributor, MSD Coil, Electric Fan, Crane towing cam/lifters (268 Duration 501 Lift), Edelbrock Aluminum Intake, Road Demon 700 CFM Carb w/Electric Choke, Comp Cams Double Roller Timing Set, Harland Sharp Roller Rockers, Crane Cam Stud Conversion Kite, Hedman Headers, Full Length Dual Exhaust, New Mufflers, 16x8 Wheels and Tires, Sony Radio and Pioneer Speakers. The engine, heads or transmission have never been removed from the truck. All the factory tabs and clips are there. I replaced most of the parts to increase mileage and horse power.

The Truck is smog exempt.

OK, this is a very solid old truck. It cranks right up. You put it in Drive and it takes off like it should. It shifts into all gears the way it is suppose to. No drag, no slip, no jerking etc. The steering on this truck is great. It literally drives with one finger. It has the easiest power steering that I have ever driven. The brakes stop correctly. No pulling or shimming.  The AC has been converted to 134 but it needs freon. I put a half a can of freon every year so it has a small leak somewhere.

The truck has great oil pressure. No knocks etc. It does not leak oil on my concrete driveway.

The camping big mirrors are included. I took them off to get more cars in my garage.

The Back Bed is very solid. Notice the pictures.

There is a few dents in the truck and one rust hole in lower corner of the rear cab section (see picture).

Bottom of the doors are solid. The rocker panels SOLID. The cab mounts and underneath are solid. Yes it is dirty but the metal is solid.

Carpet is descent, seat is torn from me sliding in/out over the years. Needs a new sliding rear window, this one doesn't lock.

Doors close easy. NO slamming. Back seat is in Great shape. Headliner is in Great shape.

This truck is a very nice old truck. It is not new but it is a good driver and gets lots of comments due to the fact that it's short bed F250.

Thanks Steve.

Answer a few questions:

1. It has Crane Hardened Pushrods and guide plates.
2. The Reserve is $4,000.00.
3. I can delivery the truck but at the winning bidders expense, as long as it's in the Southeast. If you want the truck shipped to your home I can work with whatever carrier you use.
4. I prefer cash but I will take a check. The truck, truck keys and truck title stay with me until the check clears my bank.
5. No it doesn't have an alarm.
6. Core support is solid.
7. Underneath the hood is solid. The back side of the hood is solid.
8. The roof all around the top is solid.

Look like I stated before this is a nice old truck. Yes the clear coat is coming off but after someone repaints it and will be top dollar truck. I have had great use out of it but I don't use it anymore. I'm retired now and don't travel as much as I use to. I hate to see it just sit around and go down hill.
Thanks Steve.

Ford reports 58% drop in Q2 profits on European losses

Wed, 25 Jul 2012

Ford Motor Company announced Wednesday that it has posted a $1 billion profit for the second quarter of 2012. That sounds like good news for the Blue Oval, until you take into account that Ford posted a $2.4 billion profit for Q2 a year ago. That is a substantial 58 percent loss.
Ford also posted $465 million in international losses, with $404 million of those losses coming directly from Europe. The automaker also increased its European loss projections to $1 billion for 2012, due in large part to the economic crisis overseas, which has resulted in increased unemployment and decreased consumer confidence.

Jay Leno is far beyond driven in his 1971 Pantera

Mon, 23 Jun 2014

Perhaps it's fitting that the band Pantera is known for its heavy metal music, because the DeTomaso Pantera is the automotive equivalent of a metal album. It's short, aggressive and makes a mean sound. It doesn't mess around either, with a Ford 351-cubic-inch (5.75-liter) V8 sending mountains of torque to the rear wheels. This week, Jay Leno takes us on a detailed tour of his '71 to show why it rocks.
There's a regular format to Jay Leno's Garage. It starts with Jay and maybe a guest taking a look at the car and talking about its history, and then they take it out on the open road. However, this video is practically a Pantera buyer's guide. Jay is adamant from the start that the last thing anyone should own is a stock example. To remedy this, he and his guest, the editor of the Pantera Club magazine, take viewers to school about some of the ways to turn them into even better performance machines.
No matter what you do to it, though, the Pantera requires that the driver adapt to it, not the other way around. For example, Jay isn't a big guy by most standards, but he has to cram himself into the cockpit with his shoes off and shirt partially unbuttoned just to go for a drive. Still, once out on the road, it all makes sense with that rumbling V8 and those Italian supercar looks. Scroll down to watch and learn a lot more about this uncompromising '70s performance car.
