Vehicle is in decent shape for a 1975 ford f250.  Paint is not original. It appears the original color was orange.  Paint is poor and needs to be refinished. Gloss is peeling, spray paint has been applied to areas that were missing paint or dented.  Vehicle has one large dent (covered up with black paint) on the passenger side rear wheel area and one in the passenger door.  Paint missing from the hood was touched up with paint that does not match the paint job (See photos).  Chrome strip on the drivers side is missing the last three inches of rubber.  Rear tailgate does not appear to be original and has a chip missing in it.  The Tailgate is scratched up and dented and could use Rhino Line.  Wheels have rust that may be able to be sanded?? off. Interior has new carpet and back seat cover. The actual seat cover from LMC (where your butt sits) got ripped.  An extra set of covers is provided.  Surface rust in random spots.  Passengers side door is missing the storage department on the bottom of the door. Drivers side is missing the arm rest

There is a picture of the passenger side mirror where there is white everywhere, this is not damage, but bird poop.  Sorry, I did not have time to clean this vehicle before photos were taken.

Engine is a 390 from what I believe is 1974.   New Hoses, belts, Power Steering Pump, Power Brake Booster, Starter (1.5 years old).  Battery was installed in october 2011.  No windshield washer resivor.

Carb is a Carter Competition AFB which probably needs a tuning, Headman Headers. As you could see, the engine has some spray paint that could probably be removed.  Transmission is a 4 on the floor with Granny Gear.  Clutch needs adjustment or replacement. At this point, I think it needs an adjustment and possibly a throwout bearing.

Front end work was just recently done, including bearings, driver side spindle and a few other things, I could provide a reciept ($1600.00 in Parts plus labor)

CD player is not factory and  the dash lights are LED's.  2 Rifle, Rifle Rack included.

Truck runs great, and would make a daily driver or a great restoration project.

There is a gas tank behind the seat as well as a custom made Tank on the drivers side, in front of the rear wheel (see photos).  Toolbox is included.

Mileage reads 94xxx, but I am unsure what the actual mileage is.

Divorced Transfer case.

I have made every effort to accurately describe what i know about this vehicle.  I am not a car guy but would be willing to provide more photos or answer ANY questions to the best of my ability. I want you to be satisfied, please ask

I drove this for 2 years and definitely enjoy it, but could no longer afford the 8mpg and the dream that I will restore this

Shipping must be arranged by the buyer, I'd prefer local pickup.  This truck could be driven home.   I had bought it in Montana in 2011 and drove it to Illinois with no issues.  Vehicle was purchased from King Motors in Great Falls Montana.

$500.00 Deposit due within 3 days.

2015 Ford Mustang EcoBoost Review

Thu, Feb 26 2015

"It's just a V6 Mustang." That phrase, so often spoken with derision and disdain, has haunted owners of Ford's more affordable and economical pony car since roughly April of 1964. Even after Dearborn finally paid some attention to its entry-level muscle car by eliminating telltale V6 features – the company fit dual exhausts in place of the single-exit pipe in 2011, negating the budget offering's biggest visual giveaway – the car was still hard pressed to shake its reputation as a hairdresser's car and rental fleet queen. For the Mustang's 50th year in service, Ford went back to the drawing board, we think with the distinct goal of eliminating the stigma of the non-V8 Mustang. While the V6 is still being offered (your local Avis and Enterprise lots wouldn't be the same without them), it's best to think of the new, four-cylinder, turbocharged Mustang EcoBoost as the entry-level model. But will the addition of forced induction – from an engine that will see action in the upcoming, enthusiast-centric Focus RS, no less – be enough to appease those pony car fans that believe that only Mustangs with eight cylinders are worthy of the galloping stallion badge? After a week at the helm, we certainly think it is. The new Mustang's looks have been covered ad nauseam. Chances are good that you either love the fastback styling, or you think the original pony car now looks a lot like a Fusion Coupe. We'll ignore the bigger styling remarks for the 2015 Mustang, and instead, focus on what's done right with the EcoBoost model. Like the V6 before it, certain boxes are correctly ticked. Dual exhausts? Check. 18-inch alloys? Check. (Our EcoBoost Premium model even shares its wheels with the base GT). HID headlamps? Check. Up front, there's a surprisingly meaty chin spoiler while the muscular lines of the 'Stang's long hood tie in nicely with the fastback shape, which terminates in a neat rear spoiler. There's even a body-colored diffuser at the back, between the chromed exhaust tips. The bottom line is, unless you're a true Mustang aficionado, you'll be hard pressed to tell the difference between the turbocharged car and its 435-horsepower brother. Simply sitting in the redesigned cabin isn't enough to give the EcoBoost away, either. The leather-trimmed seats (standard on the Premium trim) are cozy and supportive, with plenty of bolstering to help keep both driver and passenger in place while the 'Stang exhibits its newly enhanced cornering abilities.

Automakers, dealers are rushing cars to Houston after Harvey

Thu, Aug 31 2017

DETROIT — Houston-area car retailers and automakers are rushing to reopen dealerships and beef up inventory to replace many hundreds of thousands of vehicles damaged in flooding from Hurricane Harvey. Pete DeLongchamps, vice president for manufacturer relations at Group 1 Automotive, the third-largest U.S. auto dealer group, said the company prepared for the storm with a plan designed after Hurricane Katrina in 2005. This included moving moved inventory to higher ground and cleaning roof drains to avoid cave-ins. Group 1 thus lost a "relatively small percentage" of inventory and reopened its roughly 25 dealerships in the Houston and Beaumont area by Thursday. "Things have been moving fast and furious with a large number of tow-ins already," DeLongchamps said. "Our customers have lost a lot of vehicles, we need to help them replace." Harvey brought record flooding to Houston and killed at least 35 people. The storm is expected to briefly depress already slowing U.S. auto sales but could eventually help boost demand as damaged cars are replaced. Automakers report U.S. August sales on Friday. Estimates for the number of Harvey-damaged vehicles needing replacement range up to 500,000. By Thursday, AutoNation, the largest U.S. auto retail chain, had reopened its 17 Houston stores and is moving cars and trucks from other regions, company spokesman Marc Cannon said. The company plans to move 500 to 1,000 used cars to an AutoNation USA used car store and stage a sale Sept. 21-23, when many would-be buyers should have insurance checks to replace destroyed vehicles, Cannon said. AutoNation is still assessing how many vehicles it lost, but it too moved vehicles to higher ground ahead of the storm. General Motors spokesman Jim Cain said the number of damaged vehicles at dealerships "is relatively modest." "But there are still several dealerships that are inaccessible, so the number will increase," he said. GM will move new and used vehicles to Houston, "but it won't be done until the infrastructure and our dealers are ready." Ford is still assessing damage and inventory needs, a spokeswoman said. CarMax, the biggest U.S. used car dealer, will reopen its six Houston area stores on Labor Day, spokeswoman Claire Hunter said. "We are mobilizing additional inventory to the region as we speak," Hunter said. Ford reveals new rapid prototyping and low-volume production techniques [w/video]

Mon, 08 Jul 2013

It's called "F3T," and that stands for Ford Free-form Fabrication Technology. The process that The Blue Oval has developed means being able to sidestep the weeks-long process of tool-and-die making when engineers want to construct a new part, allowing them to fabricate a three-dimensional part from a two-dimensional sheet of metal in just hours.
While F3T is being developed it is limited to "low-volume prototyping or even low-volume niche vehicles," but the next step is to evaluate it for use in Ford's global manufacturing facilities. You can find out more about it in the video and the press release below.
