I purchased this vehicle new in 05 and since then it has been my baby.  I started with an 8" Fabtech lift with 20" Jesse James wheels, and 37x13.50 tires.  Then I had 3 10" subwoofers tucked nicely behind the seat with a Rockford P5002 amp to power them.  I had all the components changed out and plugged it into a Pioneer touch screen 6 disc in dash DVD player.  There is Bluetooth, Sirius and IPOD all connected in nicely behind the dash.  When the vehicle is put into reverse the screen changes to a backup camera.  I had an alarm/remote start installed and then was the amp research electric steps.

For the motor I added an Airaid intake, 4" downpipe to 5" exhaust with an 8" tip. I added a Edge Juice w/ Attitude with the hot setting unlocked and it came to life.  It came to life enough that I had to put traction bars under it to keep everything rolling smoothly.

I blew the head gaskets when it was new and again around 76000 miles.  the last time they went through it they changed the turbo and EGR then did the upgraded head gaskets and studs.  It seem good now.  It has never left me stranded and its been a great vehicle for me.

I moved to North Dakota in the winter of 2010 and had to have the FICM and injectors replaced.  The shop I took it to was nice enough to put fords new emissions program on it.  It dropped me from 17mpg to 12mpg.  I recently went through ficmrepair.com to get the FICM built up and was informed that this truck needs a bigger alternator to run the stereo.  When he had the FICM he dropped in the Atlas 40 program from Go Power Hungry.com and it improved my milage to 15mpg.  The Atlas 40 program needs to be put in the ecm now and it should exceed 17mpg again.  Its only $175 to get it done just haven't had the time.  Since moving to the oilfield this truck has seen some nasty roads in the winter and its starting to have spotty rust on the frame and springs.  I try to keep it clean but it is next to impossible in this area. The truck currently has 35x12.50 tires on it.  thought they would do better in the snow and ice.  I had them sipped and now they do great.  Its about due for some new tires.

There are a few small dents in the body and the paint is chipped.  Far from good, but good from far.  I added the fender flares to try to help the paint but never did get a chance to get them painted.  My daughter grew up in this truck so there are stains in the interior.  It needs a good cleaning.  I tried to give it a quick wash for the pictures.  Also the passenger side ladder bar needs to have inserts welded in it.  It stripped last year and haven't gotten it fixed yet.

The pickup is currently in Williston, ND as I am working my hitch right now.  I will be going back to the west side of Montana on the 25th so I will be leaving it here for its new owner.

Any questions feel free to call or email.

I am also trying to sell this vehicle locally so Mileage my differ from a few test drives.  I also reserve the right to end this auction early.  Vehicle is sold AS IS...

GM, Ford and FCA expected to extend coronavirus shutdown into April

Wed, Mar 25 2020

U.S. automakers General Motors, Ford and Fiat Chrysler are expected to extend their current shutdown in North America into the month of April as the fight to slow the spread of the coronavirus continues. At this point, the exact dates that Detroit's Big Three automakers will restart vehicle production remains up in the air. Ford said in a statement that it does not plan to restart production until at least April 6 but warned it could be further delayed into April. United Auto Workers President Rory Gamble sent a letter to union members saying that FCA had "no plans to reopen on March 30." GM has yet to confirm its plans — its last statement said the decision when to reopen "will be reevaluated week-to-week after" March 30 — but unnamed sources told Reuters that it will also comply with Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer's order barring non-essential businesses from operating until April 13. Gamble's letter said the union is "waiting to hear from GM and are demanding that they put our membersÂ’ safety first and adhere to government and health officialsÂ’ recommendations to stay-at-home." A spokeswoman for Whitmer was unable to clarify on Tuesday whether auto production is considered essential or not. Michigan has declared vehicle sales by auto dealers to be impermissible under the order, but dealerships and other facilities can make repairs.  The UAW also said two Fiat Chrysler union members — one in Indiana and one in Michigan — have died after contracting the coronavirus. A group representing major U.S. and foreign automakers warned in a letter to U.S. lawmakers with other industry groups on Monday that, "Auto industry analysts are expecting sales to be down by as much as 40 percent in March compared to 2019." The letter said 95% of North American auto plants are currently closed. Reuters contributed to this report. Related Video: This content is hosted by a third party. The 24 Hour War: Adam Carolla's new documentary brings the Ford-Ferrari battle back to life

Thu, Dec 29 2016

Long before the GoPro or even videotape, races were filmed by guys standing next to the track with 16-millimeter cameras. The images kind of shook, they didn't always hold focus, and over the years all the color has faded out of the film. It all conspires to make the endurance racing battle between Ferrari and Ford in the 1960s seem like ancient history. What Adam Carolla and Nate Adams' new documentary The 24 Hour War does best is make that inter-corporate battle feel as if it happened yesterday. Yeah, if you're an obsessive you've likely seen most of the shaky-cam race footage used here before. But what you haven't seen are the interviews that frame the war and explain the egos and engineering behind the legends. It's not a perfect movie, but it's the sort of movie only fanatics could make. And it's easier to appreciate if you're a fanatic too. The first 25-or-so minutes of the documentary are taken up with histories of both Ford and Ferrari and an overview of how ridiculously deadly motorsports were in the Sixties and earlier. It's all interesting (if familiar) stuff, that could have been handled in about a third the time with some brutal editing. Still, the two protagonists in the story are well drawn: the racing-crazed Enzo Ferrari, who only builds road cars to stay solvent; and Henry Ford II, who after being thrown into the deep end of the Ford Motor Company management in 1943 at the age of 25, wasn't going to be humiliated after Ferrari pulled out of a deal to sell him the sports car maker. With one notable exception, the filmmakers were successful in rounding up practically everyone involved who is still alive for an interview. That includes Dan Gurney, Mario Andretti, Pete Brock, Bob Bondurant, Piero Ferrari, Mauro Forghieri, Carlo Tazzioli, and even Ralph Nader. There are good archival insights from the late Carroll Shelby. But where's A.J. Foyt? After all, he co-drove the stupendous Ford GT40 Mark IV with Dan Gurney to victory at Le Mans in 1967. The interviews make the movie worthwhile, but it cries out for more technical depth about the cars themselves. Yes, the GT40 was complex and engineered practically like a production car, but there's no mention of how the Lola Mk VI and Eric Broadley kicked off the development. There's only a superficial explanation of what made the American-built Mark IV such a leap forward.
