Nice, low mile trucks are hard to find so this is your chance to own a VERY nice Ford F150 XLT crew cab 4X4 with low miles and in great shape inside and out! This F150 is a true 1-owner Florida truck, bought new right here in Ft. Myers Florida and traded back in at our Chevrolet dealership by the original owner in this shape, NO auctions! It has a clean Autocheck report showing no accidents or problems and being a true Florida truck there is NO rust and even the underside is nice and clean, you won't find that on any northern vehicles. It received a great score of 91 points out of an average rating of between 81-89 points so you know it has a great history. There are a few nice extra's this truck has including a 2" front leveling kit for a nice look, custom wheels and tires, diamond tool box, bedliner, running boards, keyless entry and factory hitch that looks to have never been used, which is nice. Look at those pictures and I promise you it looks every bit this nice in person. The exterior is all original with a nice deep Ford shine with no dents, scrapes, fade or rust. The custom wheels are sporty looking with just a bit of pitting near the inside, the tires are matching with plenty of tread remaining to help give this Ford a great look and ride. The windows are tinted as well. The interior is nice and clean and really does look near new everywhere with no odors. The seats are very comfortable and there is seating for six with plenty of head and legroom both front and rear. All the power options work great including the ice cold air conditioning and CD stereo. The 4X4 works great as well and it's nice to know it's there should you need it. What a pleasure to drive! The peppy 5.4 Triton V-8 runs like new with no issues and the brakes, suspension and transmission are all nice and tight with no shakes or rattles. It really is a nice 1-owner truck that has obviously been well cared for and being a true rust free Florida truck with a great history you are sure to fall in love. I have the factory books and two keys with remotes. I have great feedback so you can be sure that this vehicle will be just as nice as I am stating. Ford recalling 205k Edge and Lincoln MKX units for possible corrosion

After the horrible weather last winter, it's hard to look forward for the season to return this year. For those readers in much of the country, the snow is going to be flying soon, and with it comes salt on the roads. That means Ford's regional recall for the 2007-2008 Edge and Lincoln MKX arrives at the perfect time because they are at risk for corrosion.
The campaign covers 204,448 examples of the models in 21 states, plus the District of Columbia and some provinces of Canada. In total there are 186,024 vehicles in need of repair in the US and 18,424 in Canada.
According to Ford, it's possible for the area, "under the reinforcement brackets where the fuel tank is mounted" to corrode. If this happens, there might be a gas smell in the vehicle or even a fuel leak could develop. In fact, the automaker reports that one fire could be related to the problem but no injuries or accidents are reported.

No one's going to confuse the massively popular Ford F-150 pickup truck with a green vehicle, but at least it performs well in an environmental sense when compared to its brethren. The Automotive Science Group (ASG) took on the odd (to us, at least) task of measuring which pickup trucks are friendliest to the environment and found that the big seller in the Blue Oval's flagship F-series came up big, while the Toyota Tacoma came up, well, slightly smaller. That's a good thing. Among the 245 light-duty trucks that ASG studied, the 3.7-liter V6-powered F-150 won ASG's award for full-size trucks for both regular and crew cabs. Meanwhile, the 2.7-liter Toyota Tacoma, with its fuel-economy rating of 23 miles per gallon combined, had smallest overall life-cycle carbon footprint and won ASG's two mid-sized categories. Finally, the Chevrolet Silverado won best all-around performance in the full-size extended-cab category. The ASG factored in eco-friendliness, price and social performance (which is measured by, "considering the rights of those charged with vehicle manufacture and assembly") to come up with its findings. Sales of Ford's F-Series trucks rose 8.4 percent last year to 74,592 units and accounted for more than a third of the total 2013 sales of Ford and its Lincoln unit. There's an evergreen debate among auto enthusiasts about whether they would prefer to have the latest and greatest car of today or a certified classic from yesteryear. What if you had to further define that, though, and the choice was between a brand new 2015 Subaru Legacy or a turbocharged Datsun 240Z with a hatch that wouldn't close? Roadkill aimed to find out that and more in one of its best videos to date.
According to the hosts, Subaru came to them, handed over some money and challenged Roadkill's project cars against its latest Legacy. The result is every bit as good (or better) than any automotive-themed show you could find on television.
Things start simple with a figure-eight race in a rodeo arena with the Subaru taking on Roadkill's 1968 Ford Ranchero, originally built for ice racing. From there the Legacy races a 1968 Dodge Charger with no windows around and off-road rally stage. Finally, the Subie goes head-to-head against the Rotsun, the aforementioned turbocharged 240Z, through an abandoned neighborhood. Plus, there's a bonus drag race challenging them all.
