We are a very small dealer and bought this vehicle from the auction for a freind of a friend and then he couldn't come up with the money to pay for it so we need to liquidate it asap as we have all our monies tied up in one vehicle so we are letting it go for what we paid for it at the auction. If you ever wanted to own the niceset truck on the market then this is your chance at the best possible price. You are getting to buy at the dealers cost without the expense of being a dealer and we don't charge that paper processing fee of 495.00 like so many other dealers do. All that is, is pure profit for them.
This truck as every available option I have ever seen on one vehicle. I don't even know where to start but I will focus mainly on the extra things. It has power automatic running boards that go up and down with the opening and closing of the doors. It has a 2400 dollar Sony Jukebox stereo that lets you save up to 2500 cds and play them with the touch of the screen. It has voice recognition that you just speak and tell the stereo system what you want and it does it. Its incredible.
It has Am, FM, CD, DVD, Sirrus, Bluetooth, Weatherbug. You name it, its got it.
It has heated front and rear seats and even air condition front seats. You can change the interior lighting to almost any color you want at the touch of a button and then change the brightness of the color to lighter or darker with another touch of a button. It has heated mirrors and rear window defroster and power sliding back glass. It has a Line X bed liner covering and the bed has never been used like a real truck bed gets used sometimes. Most people that own these trucks don't really use them as a truck if you know what I mean. The original manuals and window sticker are still in the truck and the window sticker showed it was over 50k. It comes with 2 keys and 2 working remotes. The list goes on and on but if you are familiar with the Platinum Edition then you will know what other feathers it has. Last but not least any vehicle that is 2 to 3 years old or older will not be totally perfect and here are the imperfections. It has nicks on the front bumper. It has a small area on the edge of the rear bumper where rocks etc have kicked up and chipped the paint. It has a door ding on the driver door and a ding on the passenger fender that are easily visable and then a couple that are almost not noticable unless you are really looking for them. It needs a 15 dollar piece of trim around the passenger mirror. Tires and wheels are in very good condition as well as rest of truck but I have tried to describe the truck the best I can so there is no surprises. This truck would easily sell for 30k or more on a big dealerships lot but we don't have the funds for it to sit here 30 days while we wait for the right customer to come along. By the way. This was a one owner truck and thats a big plus. You can call Randall at 931-607-3954 for an inspection and test drive and you can also test drive it again when you pick it up. I have personally been driving it for the last 2 weeks as evidenced by my sons car seat in the back seat area and its a very nice truck.

We test the 2016 Ford F-150 Pro Trailer Backup Assist
Thu, May 21 2015There are some automotive tasks that are more or less impossible the first time you attempt them, no matter your skill level. Remember the first time you had to back a trailer into position? Yeah, you'd have more luck disarming a nuclear bomb than getting the trailer where you're aiming. Ford is preparing to debut a technology that takes the mystery out of reversing a trailer, with the new Pro Trailer Backup Assist. Available on the entire 2016 F-150 range, the system essentially allows owners to drive their trailers by way of a dash-mounted knob. Turn the knob and the steering wheel automagically turns to the correct angle, leading the trailer in the desired direction. The steering wheel twirls about as needed, although drivers still have direct control of the accelerator and brake pedals, much as they do with Ford's Enhanced Active Park Assist system. Ford has spent eight years developing the system, the company's engineers told us. Drivers will need to measure their trailers a certain way and fit the checked reference sticker you can see in the gallery, although once a measurement is stored in the system, it can easily be recalled using the display in the instrument cluster. The system can stow the measurements for 10 trailers, and can accommodate tow-behinds up to 33 feet long. As of right now, though, the PTBA can't work with gooseneck trailers or fifth-wheels, although we're betting Ford is hard at work to accommodate those more substantial setups. "Pro Trailer Backup Assist is a smart solution to save time and increase productivity for our customers," Doug Scott, Ford Truck's marketing manager, said in the attached statement. "Instead of struggling to back up their trailer, they can spend more time on the job or enjoying the lake." We took part in a hands-on demo of the new system off the Detroit River, near Grosse Ile, MI. Full disclosure, we didn't back the trailer into the water, (your author had no interest in potentially damaging the roughly $50,000 boat/trailer Ford brought in for the test). We did, however, conduct a brief test in the safe confines of a nearby parking lot. Our immediate impression of this technology is that it will be a boon to novices or first-time towers, a group of which your author is a member. It takes the mystery out of backing up a trailer, and while there's still a learning curve involved, it's significantly easier than doing things the old-fashioned way.
Ford Mustang hit by Moore' Oklahoma's EF5 tornado lives to do another burnout
Fri, 07 Jun 2013Oklahoma recently saw the destructive power of an EF5 tornado, but in the aftermath of the devastation, we've also been witness to the incredible resilience of the human spirit. Moore, OK resident Jack Haden survived the storm but found that his 2003 Ford Mustang wasn't quite as lucky. As you can see in the image above, the tornado's 200+ mph winds did quite a number on the car, but while most people would have likely called their insurance company and scrapped the car, Haden had other plans.
After finding the car and seeing that its V6 still fired up, Haden spent a couple hours getting the car, um... roadworthy(?)... by removing the doors and front clip, cutting off the roof and putting on some new wheels and tires. He noticed that driving it around brought some comic relief to an area that needed a reason to laugh and smile. Check out the KSBI TV news report video below showing before and after pictures of the tough 'Stang, as well as a video showing the newly lightweight coupe doing a smoky burnout.
Pickup prices rising at 2x industry average
Tue, 11 Jun 2013We've said it before, but bears repeating: Pickup trucks are the financial engines of America's automakers. Good thing, then, that the segment is in rude health - in fact, Automotive News is suggesting that pickup truck sales are arguably healthier than they were pre-recession, even though the segment's volume is still significantly down from where it was before the bottom fell out of the US economy. That's because per-unit profits on full-size trucks are skyrocketing, outpacing the industry's average price increases by more than double since 2005. According to data from Edmunds, the average transaction price of a full-size pickup is now $39,915 - a heady increase over the $31,059 average price in 2005 - a gain of over 8 percent after inflation is factored in.
Just how important are trucks to automakers' bottom lines? Automotive News quotes a Morgan Stanley analyst as saying the Ford F-Series is responsible for 90 percent of the company's 2012 profits, and General Motors isn't far behind, with the Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra twins chipping in about two-thirds of the automaker's earnings.
Automotive News points out that Detroit's automakers now have the money to invest in modernizing their full-size truck offerings, in part because they don't have the same overhead and legacy costs that pushed General Motors and Chrysler into bankruptcy. Certainly, the pickup segment has seen a lot of innovations as of late, including turbocharged V6s, coil-spring rear suspensions and active aero. Those improvements in important areas like fuel economy and ride comfort have given existing pickup buyers new reasons to upgrade. In addition, automakers are piling on the tech and luxury goodies, creating more and more high-content, high-profit models like the Ford F-150 King Ranch, Ram 1500 Laramie Longhorn and Chevrolet Silverado High Country (shown).
