I am selling my 1999 Ford F-150 Lariat. I am the second owner of this vehicle. The truck has just under 270,000 miles on it but we had a factory rebuilt motor put in at 238,218 miles and the transmission rebuilt in 2007 (Not exactly sure how many miles are on the rebuilt transmission. Somewhere in the 50,000 mile range). The truck has a 4" body lift with Mickey Thompson rims and 305 BF Goodrich Mud Terrain tires (will need to be replaced soon but passed a recent inspection). Has an aluminum tool box, towing package, and a flow master exhaust. Also has a newer CD player with an aux port. Cruise control and four wheel drive work. Some fading of the paint on the roof and hood but overall is in great shape.

Recently installed a new battery, new fuel pump, and rebuilt the alternator.

Drivers seat is ripped but have a seat cover identical to the one on the passenger seat. Took it off to show the rip in the seat. AC needs to be recharged.

Here's what it's like to drive the very first Ford Mustang cop car

As we recently discovered, there's something different about driving a police car. That's true whether you're talking about a modern Dodge Charger Pursuit or, yes, the legendary Ford Mustang SSP. Former Autoblog staffer and current Road and Track web editor Zach Bowman discovered this when he shanghaied a 2015 Mustang GT and made the trip to Nashville, TN to drive the very first Mustang SSP police car. The two-tone, V8-powered prototype was delivered into the welcoming arms of the California Highway Patrol back in 1981 for evaluation. Bowman chatted up cop-car aficionado Mike Strinich, the prototype's current owner, and managed to score some seat time in the car, which provided a unique interesting contrast to the SSP's 435-horsepower junior. 2013 Ford C-Max Hybrid recalled over lack of roof padding

Ford is recalling 33,021 units of its 2013 C-Max Hybrid not equipped with optional panoramic roof panels. During testing, the model in question returned testing results for occupant head injuries that fell outside of criteria laid out in the Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard. The issue puts occupants at greater risk of injury in the event of a crash if they are in an affected car.
The recall will begin August 19, at which time C-Max Hybrid owners can take their cars to dealers to have energy-absorbent material installed between the headliner and roof. The bulletin below from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has more information.

This year's LA Auto Show has been packed with interesting debuts and fascinating industry trends. The Autoblog team is on the scene to examine all the new metal, and Senior Editor Greg Migliore has some show highlights for us in the video above.
