Rare Find: For sale is a 1989 Ford F-150 XLT Lariat Extended Cab XLT Great Condition. With only 55,000 Original Miles and change. I would have to look to see exact mileage, interior looks very, very good especially for an 89 No carpet stains nothing. In fact the interior carpet look almost new. This truck has the full length back seat that fold down to have a cargo area backs of seats are steel lined to provide a solid flat surface when folded down. This Truck is an excellent buy the engine bay is 100% original and perfect. Tires are new and truck has the original full size spare under the rear of the bed. The truck is complete. I had just taken the truck on a trip over 3000 miles with no problems at all to pick up something on the east coast. We got caught in the massive snow storm and not even then did this truck slip and slide around when others were flying off the road. All Fluids Changed on More Than Regular Intervals and Serviced the Manual Transmission Fluid and Differential as well. Truck is Completely Sound! Just took the truck to East Pennsylvania from Great Bend Kansas. 1,355 miles 1 way and it drives great, mileage was between 19mpg and 21mpg at it's highest. Truck Books NADA around 4700 Low. I paid 42, So your getting some equity. 55,000 Original Verified Miles!!! Factory AC. Tires are about 80% good. Factory Full Size Spare is included and in original location under the rear of the pickup bed. Carpet is Protected by nice rugged Floor mats that match. Front and Back Seat The Back seat folds down and has factory metal on the back to form a metal surface for additional storage or hauling. Factory Cruise Control, Works Perfectly and is rare on a Manual Transmission, Control are integrated into the steering wheel. Engine is exactly as it was the day it was bought, not 1 item missing. We did Add an MSD billet Distributor, Cap and Rotor for better fuel economy and Ford Racing High Energy Wires, New Autolite Platinum Plugs. Rear sliding glass window. bumper Ball Hitch 2in Ball. Engine is a 5.0L Super Strong Motor. 9in Factory Rear-End with factory Posi-Track. Dual Factory Fuel Tanks. No Leaks - Needs a muffler, Think it was just setting to long after the long trip the muffler gave out. looked like the inlet was rusted. but 29.00 at AutoZone. 5-Speed Manual Transmission. Ford GT inspires objects for Milan furniture show [w/videos]
Tue, Apr 14 2015Can't get enough of the lines on the new Ford GT? Then Milan is the place to be this month. That's where Ford will be presenting a series of objects whose designs were penned by the same talents behind (and inspired by) the company's new supercar. Set to be presented at the Salone del Mobile furniture show in the Italian metropolis, the collection ranges from tables, chairs and light fixtures to a sailboat, foosball table and electric guitar. "We have an incredible amount of talent in our global design studios," said Ford's chief designer Moray Callum. "Salone del Mobile is the perfect forum to share some of that creativity, while also offering our designers an opportunity to get exposure to new ideas that will inspire future Ford design." In addition to these seemingly random objects, Ford has also partnered with architect Attilio Stocchi to create a special light exhibition entitled "Favillia, Every Light a Voice," similarly inspired by the new GT. Martini Mustang is a 'what if moment' gone right

This is Steve Strope's Ford Mustang in the classic fastback bodystyle, and as you'll notice, it sports the signature colors of Martini Racing, a livery that's as legendary as any Gulf Racing-styled car. But the red, white and blues of the Martini stripe down this Mustang's middle tell only a very small part of the story, in the latest video from Petrolicious.
What would you guess is under the hood? A 289-cubic-inch V8? Maybe a 302, or some absurd Ford crate engine? Maybe Strope went all Tokyo Drift - he's actually responsible for the "Hammer" Plymouth Satellite driven by Vin Diesel at the end of the movie - and found an RB26DETT to drop into the pony car? You'd be wrong on all counts.
This mad, mad man somehow finagled a Ford-Lotus engine from a 1966 Indianapolis 500 car into the Mustang's engine bay. Yes, a Mustang with an engine designed for a 160-mile-per-hour, open-wheel racecar. That's like someone in 40 years dropping McLaren's 2.4-liter V8 from the MP4-28 into a Scion FR-S. It'd just make a monster.
