So owning it could be a total headache, but at least by winning one through Omaze, you'd be relieved of the financial burden of buying one in the first place. Watch these videos of an NHRA racer's bodywork blowing off into a crowd

Just a few months ago, fan safety at racetracks was a hot topic following the last-lap NASCAR Nationwide Series crash at Daytona that sent large pieces of racecars into the grandstands injuring 33 fans. Now, a freak incident at a National Hot Rod Association event resulted in a drag racer's bodywork flying into the crowd at the NHRA Four-Wide Nationals in Charlotte over the weekend. The carbon-fiber body of Robert Hight's Ford Mustang funny car blew off toward the end of a run when his engine exploded, but fortunately, the two fans evaluated after the incident were later released without serious injury.
As you can see in the image above, the body flew high into the air before landing on a walkway in front of the grandstands, a bit of happenstance that likely gave most fans enough time and space to move out of the way. Ford's new GT Le Mans racer sounds awesome

Ford showed its new GT Le Mans racecar this morning, and we're stoked. The gorgeous new racecar will run in the LM GTE Pro class in the FIA World Endurance Championship and United SportsCar Championship, followed by a four-car showing at the 2016 24 Hours of Le Mans. For those keeping track, the 2016 race will mark the 50th anniversary of Ford's big Le Mans victory in 1966. In addition to images and some limited information, Ford released this video of the Le Mans racecar, and we haven't been able to stop watching. This thing sounds amazing, and it looks super cool racing through the streets of Paris, even if it's all just CGI. Thus, we figured we'd pull the video out again, just in case you missed it the first time. Turn your volume up. This one's really good.
