FORD RANGER F150 XLT

ENGINE 460 V8

This pickup was originally set up to run with Natural Gas...Propane or regular Unleaded Gas.
I am the second owner after purchasing this beauty from an auction.
It has never been in an accident.
I have always had it taken care of by my local auto repair shop.
This truck will make someone very happy...and I hate to let it go.
The original owner I understood was a horse man who only drove it to bring his horses to the vet which is why the low mileage, on my title under ODOMETER it states EXEMPT.

A few years back, I was having trouble switching from Natural Gas to Unleaded so I had my local car man switch it to only Unleaded.  I let out the Propane gas and felt better just running it as an Unleaded Gasoline truck, but my car man said it could be switched back if someone wanted it as a Natural Gas truck.

It starts good, factory A/C rare back then, radio, a center bed ball hitch, a beautiful long seat (see photo), a tool box under the hood, a light green and white color and chrome trim.  I believe the transmission is a C7.  I've been asked if that is the original paint...(the color bends around the door) so I think so.  Travels good without any problems.  Things to be aware of is that It has some rust (see photo), a few dings (see photo), fuel gage seems to stick or does not show fuel tank being full, and it drips oil when parked for a long time.  This beautiful classic is sold as is.

$500.00 Paypal down, the rest with cash and notarizing of Bill of Sales / Sold as is; PICK UP at local Weatherford or Oklahoma City bank.

Thank you.

If you have any questions feel free to ask.

Ford EcoBoost V6 hits the dyno before hitting the track

Wed, 02 Oct 2013

Ford Racing just unveiled the Riley Daytona Prototype that will make its racing in the United SportsCar Racing Championship Rolex 24 at Daytona in January, and now it has released a video showing development of twin-turbo 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6 that powers the car. Using the same block and heads that can be found on a production Ford Taurus SHO, this new racecar benefits from the collaboration between Ford Racing and Ford powertrain engineers.
While we still don't know what kind of power this engine is putting out, it has definitely gotten a workout at Ford's 17G dyno. This area deep within Ford allows the automaker's racing program to work hand-in-hand with production engine programs, which can be a benefit to racing operations and production cars alike. Scroll down to hear a few people from Ford talk about the crosspollination between its racing and engine teams and watch the EcoBoost get red hot on the dyno.

National Geographic Channel balances Ford F-150 on four coffee mugs

Wed, 29 Jan 2014

Proving that there is still something to be learned on television these days, National Geographic Channel recently introduced a new series called Duck Quacks Don't Echo. On the first episode of this science/comedy show, host Michael Ian Black proposes the idea that a truck can be supported with a ceramic coffee mug under each wheel - yes, he says that the entire weight of a truck can be balanced on just four coffee mugs.
Looking to find out whether this is fact or myth, the show uses a regular cab Ford F-150, weighing in at 4,800 pounds, and four average coffee mugs. Lowered onto the mugs, the idea is quickly put to the test. Can the cups hold up under 4,800 pounds? If so, what, exactly, would it take to break them? Scroll down below to find out.

Ford F-150 bumps Camry from top of Cars.com American Made Index

Tue, 25 Jun 2013

With July 4th just around the corner, what better time could there be for Cars.com to announce that the Ford F-150 is the Most American car of 2013? This may be especially true since it was the Toyota Camry, a car produced by a company based in Japan, that had held the top spot from 2009 to 2012.
Cars.com compiles its Most American list by considering the amount of parts each vehicle uses that come from America, where it's final assembly takes place and how many units per year are sold. "While the assembly point and domestic parts content of the F-150 didn't change from 2012-2013, vehicle sales are responsible for bumping the F-150 to the top spot," according to Patrick Olsen, Editor-in-Chief of Cars.com.
As far as automakers go (as opposed to individual models), Toyota retains the top spot it held in 2012, with General Motors, Chrysler, Ford and Honda (in that order) rounding out the list. The motivation behind this list each year, according to Olsen, is "to help car shoppers understand that 'American-Made' extends beyond just the Detroit three" and because "a study we conducted in 2012 indicated that 25 percent of shoppers surveyed preferred to buy American."
