SWEET HOT ROD, MUSTANG V8/AUTO SUPER FUN HOT ROD! This is a super sweet chop top truck, lots of power form a strong 302. Take a look at all of the specs below:

Cosmetic

Paint/Body: Super straight body with very minimal rust. Only rust I have seen is in the front of the hood. Solid floor pans and cab corners. Chop top was done right and looks good. Will need some skim-coat and blocked on the roof to look perfect.
Interior: Original gauges. Nice bench seat. Newer steering column.
Glass/Windows: Windshield and rear glass are new. Passenger side door is glass and rolls up and down. Drivers side is plexiglass and needs to be replaced with real glass, but the window does function properly up and down.
Undercarriage: Super clean and very minimal rust. All original frame rails are rust free. Floor pans are solid. Inner fenders are solid. Fiberglass step-ups are new.
Wheels/Tires: New old-school styled chrome wheels with Ford emblem moon caps. tires have good tread.

Mechanical

Drivetrain: 70s model 302 V8 runs strong, sounds like a mild cam has been installed. C4 automatic transmission shifts good.
Lights/Electrical: Headlights, tail lights, turn signals, and brake lights work.
Brakes: Brakes are original and stop straight.

Porsche 911 Turbo and Nissan GT-R Nismo star in World's Greatest Drag Race 4

We love Motor Trend's annual World's Greatest Drag Race video. Now back for its fourth appearance, the idea of lining some of the world's fastest cars up for a ten-wide, straight-line, full-throttle run is, well... it's pretty freaking badass.
The lineup this year boasts some impressively fast cars to be sure. The group of ten includes the following darlings: Alfa Romeo 4C, BMW i8, BMW M4, Chevrolet Camaro Z/28, Ford Fiesta ST, Jaguar F-Type R Coupe, Nissan GT-R Nismo, Porsche 911 Turbo S, Subaru WRX STI and, last but not least, the Volkswagen GTI. Give us any one of those for the weekend, and we're happy to take the keys.
It must be said though, that for a publication that draws as much water as Motor Trend does, there are some big cars that we might expect to be here instead. The Lamborghini Huracán or Ferrari 458 Speciale would have added some exotic flare to the list, and the omissions of the Chevy Corvette Stingray (for the second year in a row) and the Dodge Challenger Hellcat are real head-scratchers.

2015 Ford Mustang EcoBoost

Earlier this week, Ford invited us to Charlotte, NC, to ride in an all-new 2015 Mustang fitted with its turbocharged 2.3-liter EcoBoost four-cylinder. It's the first forced-induction, four-cylinder ponycar for the Blue Oval since the sun set on the 1986 Mustang SVO. We jumped at the opportunity, as only a handful of people have ever been in the passenger seat of this new car, and most automotive media won't get as close as we did until this fall.
As we revealed in our Deep Dive, Ford will slot this new turbocharged four as premium powerplant between its naturally aspirated 3.7-liter V6 and the naturally aspirated 5.0-liter V8. At last mention, the automaker said the direct-injected, all-aluminum engine will develop 305 horsepower and 300 pound-feet of torque, returning the best fuel economy of the three powerplants in the process. History buffs will note that those figures are appreciably stouter than the 200 horses and 240 lb-ft that the '86 SVO realized out of the same displacement, and the latter's figures were hugely impressive at the time. On paper, the new EcoBoost four looks to be a good fit for most owners who want to balance performance with efficiency - we were eager to see how it felt from the passenger seat.
