You are looking at a 1963 Ford F100, this is a great truck and for the money you wont find another this nice. Here is the ins and outs of the truck. The body has been 95% amateur restored. The engine and drivetrain has been 100% professionally restored. It runs and drives like an all original 50 year old vehicle. Its fun to drive around and get a bunch of looks and comments. Take it to a car show and people will gather. If they don't then just inform everyone of the old school flame thrower and you will be the center of the show. Basically this truck is sweet, but please note its not a fully restored 15-20,000 dollar truck, drive and enjoy this one.
Body - all rust has been cut out and replaced with metal, bottoms of rear fenders are fiberglass cause metal would be really hard to make look good. The entire truck is rust free. It is also very straight (not perfect).
Paint - brand new paint, 2 coats high build primer, sanded, 3 coats base coat/top coat hot rod flatz baby blue urethane paint.
Bed - Brand new stained & sealed wood. Not traditional look, see pics.
Engine - original 223 I-6, completely overhauled, new pistons .030 over, bearings, cam renewed, new valves, new carb. Runs perfect has about 200 miles on it.
Trans - Original 4 on the floor, nothing was wrong with it so cleaned and replaced fluid, this is actually a hard to find option. Most (not all) will be three on a tree.
Rear end - original ford 9", replaced wheel bearings and seals, the rest was ok.
Brakes - rebuilt all four wheel cylinders, cleaned and adjusted shoes, machined drums, work great for 4 wheel drum, they will pull left or right if you have to stop real hard, but normal stopping is fine. pretty normal for 4 wheel drum
Suspension - leaf springs have had springs removed prior to me and are very weak. installed coil over helper springs/shocks. manual steering is tight, some play but not bad. The ride is very good for a 50 year old truck.
Interior - all original paint, no holes cut in dash, original steering column, seat has original style black vinyl cover in great shape, and then the new seat cover for style. Carpet is new, fully insulated underneath and behind seat. Custom gauge cluster.
Overall the truck is Bad Axx. Old School look will be loved by everyone. If your interested call me and come see it you wont be disappointed.

Ford gathering data to improve how bikes and car interact
Tue, Jul 7 2015More than a hundred years ago, the Ford Motor Company changed the landscape of US cities with its cars, and the company is once again trying to disrupt the way Americans move around their metropolises by ditching four wheels for two. Ford is hoping data will make the difference in its quest to create a city friendly to both cars and bikes with what it calls a "mobility experiment" known as Info Cycle. Engineers are riding bikes with data sensors on the front fork around the tech town of Palo Alto, CA, according to CityLab. This data is analyzed and made public on Ford's open-source site called OpenXC. The sensors record everything from speed to temperature to ambient light. Ford hopes the data give city governments and biking activists the tools they need to make roads safer for all travelers. Along with data gathered from cars, Ford hopes to foster a better urban ecosystem for both bikers and drivers. Ford has tried to crack into the bike market before, but concepts like the Think and e-bike were never fully realized or came to market too early to capitalize on the current transportation revolution. Now that car ownership and miles driven are down and alternative modes of transportation are catching on in the United States, Ford wants to be on the cutting edge of the mobile revolution. Earlier this year, Ford introduced the MoDe:Flex, an electric bike concept, along with the previously announced MoDe:Me and MoDe:Pro. Related Video: News Source: CityLab Green Ford Driving Bikes data
Ford F-150 production hampered by frame shortage
Sat, May 30 2015If anyone has questions about how Ford's new aluminum-bodied F-150 will hold up, it's not buyers. Orders are so strong for the fullsize pickup that competitors General Motors and Ram are discounting their offerings to hold onto market share. It's a shame for the Blue Oval then, that it can't build all the trucks it needs because frame supplier Metalsa isn't delivering enough frames. Neither Ford nor Metalsa has said what the problem is, but Ford employees are at Metalsa's Kentucky plant trying to get it sorted out, Automotive News reports. Overtime shifts at the Dearborn Truck Plant and the Kansas City Assembly Plant have been canceled due to the shortage that's been a problem for at least two months now. The issue is exacerbated by this being the changeover period in production from the old model to the new, which comes with its own issues. That would help explain why even though Dearborn production finished ramping up in January, output in April was down 9.2 percent compared to last year, according to AN. Transaction prices are up for the new truck, but overall F-150 production in Q1 was down 40 percent, and missing product means missing profits. Combined with the production drop for the new Ford Edge, the company's Q1 bottom line was robbed of $1 billion. It isn't clear when the frame issue will be solved, but workers at the plants are ready to run "all-out" when it is. Autoblog Minute: Ford Ranger, UK Mustang, Hyundai Hybrid
Fri, Aug 28 2015Ford may bring the Ranger back to the US, the UK goes nuts over the Mustang, and the battle of hybrids heats up with spy shots of the Toyota Prius and a new Hyundai. Autoblog's senior editor Greg Migliore reports on the weekly recap edition of Autoblog Minute. Show full video transcript text [00:00:00] Ford may bring the Ranger back to the US, the UK goes nuts over Mustang, and the battle of hybrids heats up with spy shots of Prius and a new Hyundai. I'm Autoblog senior editor Greg Migliore and this is your Autoblog Minute weekly recap. 2011 was the last time we saw Ford's midsize pickup in the US but according to a report from the Detroit News we could see production of the Ranger at the [00:00:30] Dearborn automaker's Michigan Assembly Plant as early as 2018. Ranger could compete with the Chevy Colorado and perhaps revive the compact and midsize pickup market for Ford, but the future of Ranger in the US depends a lot on Ford's ongoing negotiations with the UAW. About 2,000 orders for the 2015 Mustang were placed in the UK, tying up production of the pony car until July 2016. According to details in a press release from Ford UK, [00:01:00] it looks like Brits are a lot like their American cousins, opting for the 5.0 liter V8, with Race Red as the popular color of choice. Photos of the 2016 Toyota Prius leaked generating a lot of buzz over the styling. This fourth generation Prius will have some new competition as spy shots of a new Hyundai also surfaced this week. The car is said to be a hybrid and a bonafide "Prius fighter." Those are the highlights from the week that was. Be sure to check out my full recap this Saturday, [00:01:30] including the latest in FCA rumors for 2016. For Autoblog, I'm Greg Migliore.
