Up for auction is my father's 1980 Ford F-100 with only 1,151 ORIGINAL MILES! This is truly a beautiful short bed pickup. It's equipped with a 300 6 cylinder, automatic transmission, 2 wheel drive, tu-tone paint, factory steel wheels, am/fm 8 track stereo, rear step bumper. This was a true barn find truck that was parked when it was 8 months old. Totally unmolested!!!! Truck has new fuel tank, sending unit, brakes, calipers, wheel cylinders, battery, new tires, flushed fluids. Vehicle runs and drives extremely well. The body is 100% solid and rust free. The tu-tone paint is in outstanding condition and all original with the exception of the hood which was repainted because the garage roof leaked water on the hood for years. There are two very minor dings on the cab by the rear window, see pics. The undercarriage is 100% solid and in excellent condition with the original exhaust. All equipment, gauges and light work properly. The original interior is in pristine condition and shows as a 1,151 truck should! This is most likely one of the lowest original 1980 f-100's to exist. This is what a 3D-printed liquid metal Ford Torino looks like
Sat, 12 Oct 2013Artist Ioan Florea has encapsulated a 1971 Ford Torino with 3-D-printed liquid metal transferred onto the car using technology that he developed, and the result is a stunningly shiny, seamless design.
"The surface has the highest coefficient of reflectivity never achieved before," Florea told us in an e-mail, using "nano-materials and nano-pigments that create an internal three-dimensional structure and dictate the polymer how to behave." Sure... We'll leave it to him to make any more 3-D-printed liquid metal-transferred art pieces.
Florea grew up in Romania, and the motivation behind picking the old Ford as his canvas came from his childhood memories of what an American car is - "big and wide and fascinating," he says - and the European name of the car itself, which it shares with an Italian city.

FL man fatally shot after urging driver not to do donuts in a Mustang
Tue, 18 Nov 2014Bradley Holt (pictured), the older half-brother of University of South Florida freshman quarterback Quinton Flowers, was killed in a random act of violence last week.
The 24-year-old Holt was throwing a football around with local kids in Allapattah, a neighborhood in Miami, when a yellow Mustang showed up and started doing donuts in the street. Holt, worried about kids playing in front his apartment complex, walked over to the driver and asked him why he was "driving so crazy with so many kids out here?"
The driver left. Holt's sister said the driver came back "about 15 to 20 minutes later" and fired two shots at Holt. One of them hit Holt in the back of the head, killing him.
