1977 Ford truck hot rod, rat rod, custom, 1 of a kind, very unique truck. Shaved door handles and mirrors, doors open with poppers. Top has been chopped 6 inches, lowered, rear end, front and rear suspension from 77' camaro, powered by a 500 Ci engine from a 73' caddy. Turbo 400 hydra glide transmission, with floor shift. Lots of work has been done to this truck to make it truely 1 of a kind.
Truck does start, run and move, however it had been sitting a while before i got it and does need tires, needs the brakes looked at (weak from sitting), the transmission does have a slight leak (a light drip), not sure where its coming from, I have not been able to find the dipstick and fill tube to check the fluid level, either im blind, or someone has put one of those short ones on it, and its out of view. The body is pretty good shape with only very minor dings, and light surface rust here and there, it could use a paint job, paint faded/cracked, this truck was built some time ago. The tailgate was custom made, and never painted so its rusty with some rot on it. Needs window handles, (have 1), very clean underneath, not rusted.
Due to this truck being built from all kinds of stuff, actual mileage is unknown, title states discrepency...
I consider this truck to be a project, as it will need a few things to be ready for the highway. So as such it should be towed/trailered until its been gone over. Lots of money and time was invested in this truck back when it was built, and could be a show quality truck with a little work. you dont see one like this everyday... very unique.

Ford reports $3B profit in Q4, $6.9B for the year
Tue, 28 Jan 2014Good news out of Dearborn today, as Ford announced $3 billion in profit for the last quarter of 2013, a 90-percent increase over the same period of 2012. Net income for all of last year, meanwhile, jumped to $7.2 billion from $5.7 billion in 2012, while pre-tax profits sat at a decade-topping $6.9 billion for all of 2013.
The results of the substantial profit increases are bigger profit-sharing checks for UAW employees. How big? A record $8,800 on average for 47,000 UAW workers, making 2013 the biggest year for profit sharing in Ford history. In total, $414 million will be paid as part of the profit-sharing scheme.
Now, it should be pointed out that a fair portion of Ford's Q4 profits were due to tax benefits, totaling $2.1 billion, according to Automotive News. Total profits would have also been higher, had there not been a significant recall on the Escape, as well as plant issues in South America.
Can an actual Ford F-150 ride on 4 Power Wheels F-150s?
Tue, Dec 9 2014A lot of kids are rough on their toys, especially when it comes to those made to be used outside, like a four-wheeled kid-size Power Wheels. Whether it's cruising through the sand box, carrying piles of rocks in the driveway or crashing around trees in the backyard, these motorized vehicles often take punishment from the moment the giftwrap comes off. The folks at Fisher-Price decided to give their latest F-150 Power Wheels a true torture test worse than any kid could have ever managed by setting a real 2015 Ford F-150 on top of four of them. Would the little toy trucks explode in a shower of plastic shards in a massive collapse, and if not, could they drive away afterwards? The latest F-150 might be 700 pounds lighter thanks to the switch to aluminum, but it's still a fullsize pickup. According to this clip, the truck weighs in at 4,120 pounds, which puts an average of 1,030 pounds on each of the toys. Check out the video above to see how the stunt goes, and click on the gallery below for some behind-the-scenes looks at the setup.
Driving the Lincoln Aviator and flogging Abarths at Laguna Seca | Autoblog Podcast #593
Fri, Aug 30 2019In this week's Autoblog Podcast, Editor-in-Chief Greg Migliore is joined by West Coast Editor James Riswick and Associate Editor Joel Stocksdale. To begin, Greg takes a moment to remember the fastest woman on four wheels and former host of Autoblog's "The List," Jessi Combs, who died this week. Then our editors turn their attention to the cars they've been driving, including the Lincoln Aviator, Ford Ranger and Nissan Frontier, as well as Joel's recent stint in the Fiat 500 Abarth and Fiat 124 Spider Abarth, including track time at Laguna Seca. Finally, they turn their attention to a listener in Germany who is looking to replace an aging Volkswagen Eos with a newer convertible in this week's "Spend My Money" segment.
