1971 Ford F-100 Pickup LWB, 2WD in good, restorable condition. 360 Engine with Auto Transmission. Truck is in original condition with no visible modifications. It has PS and dealer add on A/C (all there but not working). The truck had set for several years prior to my buying it. It runs and drives great. I recently completed minor repair work, due to the truck sitting. List of repairs (installed new timing chain, water pump, rear main seal, oil pump, drivers side exhaust manifold, gasket set, radiator, all hoses). Aside from needing tires, hop in and drive it home. There are a couple of rust spots, above the windshield, in between the windshield chrome and the drip rail. The front passenger side fender well has a small rust hole in under the battery. I believe the mileage is accurate or it was an older restoration. All lights, signals, switches working. Fuel pump gauge does not read correctly. Overall, a good truck for restoration or put tires on and cruise around town. I don't actually expect anyone to purchase this off of Ebay but would encourage serious buyers to come view and drive it locally. Thanks for looking.

1964 Ford GT40 prototype sells for $7M
Mon, 14 Apr 2014Seven-figure Ferraris are not horribly rare. Heck, an eight-figure Ferrari isn't a rare occurrence. Between modern masterpieces like the Enzo and more classic offerings, cracking the million-dollar mark isn't a particularly tall order for the cars from Maranello. For a Ford, though, it's a big deal.
Now, this is not just some rare Mustang. This is a GT40, the car that Henry Ford II commissioned to whip Enzo Ferrari around a track in France. As far as the Le Mans-winning racers go, they don't get much rarer than this one. Sold at the Mecum Auctions in Houston, this is one of the prototypes, meaning it's one of the very first GT40s ever built. That makes its $7 million winning a bid, a record for on-air coverage of the auction, a pretty darn impressive figure.
You can watch the auction below, but first, take a look back at our original story on this rare Blue Oval.

Ward's reveals annual 10 Best Engines list for 2013
Thu, 13 Dec 2012Ward's Auto has released its annual 10 Best Engines award winners. The 2013 list covers the full width and breadth of the internal combustion spectrum, from a spate of efficient four-cylinders to the most powerful production V8 on the planet. As always, the entries must be available in a production vehicle in the first quarter of 2013 with an MSRP of less than $55,000. The supercharged 3.0-liter V6 from the Audi S5 held on for the fourth consecutive year, and BMW earned two spots on the list with its turbo 2.0-liter four-cylinder and turbo 3.0-liter inline-six.
Ford pulled in two awards for its 2.0-liter EcoBoost four-cylinder and and the supercharged 5.8-liter V8 from the Shelby GT500. Honda matched BMW and Ford with two wins of its own. Wards awarded the 2.4-liter four-cylinder from the Honda Accord Sport as well as the 3.5-liter V6 from the Honda Accord. Chrysler, General Motors and Subaru each garnered a spot on the list as well for the 3.6-liter V6 in the Ram 1500, the turbo 2.0-liter four-cylinder in the Cadillac ATS and the 2.0-liter four-cylinder the Subaru BRZ, respectively.
