Today's auction in my 1963 Ford F100 step-side pickup. First off this truck is a restoration project, sold as is where is. It has a running 351 v-8 motor and auto tranny. My daughter and I drove it 8 miles to the car wash today. (slowly) It runs and drives but does need a steering gearbox, so I would recommend trailering it. It needs restored but is a solid truck with a lot to offer for the price!!!!! Please ask questions before bidding. I drove it daily last summer, until the steering became too dangerous. Once again it needs restoration.....A/E lighting , paint, wiring, steering. Glass is all intact, the only defect in the glass is a BB sized chip in the windshield. What you bidding on is a 50 year old piece of auto history, it has defects, but it a SOLID -RUNNING PROJECT.

Autoblog Podcast #326:
Ford E-Series chassis cabs and cutaways to survive mass Transit onslaught
Fri, 18 Apr 2014In March 2013, Ford announced we'd be getting chassis cab and cutaway versions of the Transit. Since incoming Transit vans will soon be rolling over the grave of the E-Series van, it was assumed that all E-Series models would go six feet under as well. According to a report from PickupTrucks.com, however, that's not the case, the report claiming that the highly modifiable E-350 and E-450 chassis cab and cutaway versions will continue being produced in Avon Lake, Ohio "at least until 2020."
Being decades old, the be-cabbed E-Series platform has found its way under an army of heavy-duty shuttle buses, work truck and ambulances. Ford spokeswoman Jessica Enoch verified the production horizon, telling Autoblog that the particular E-Series configuration "are a higher GVWR than the Transit chassis cab and cutaway (available this summer), which is more Class 2 and a new segment for us." So there you have it.
Ford looks back on 50 years of the Mustang in Detroit
Tue, 14 Jan 2014Ford has something special sitting in its booth here at the 2014 Detroit Auto Show. In fact, it brought two special somethings in the form of the Ford Mustang 1 Concept that first saw the light of day in 1962 and the very first production Mustang that rolled off the production line in 1964.
These classic creations are sharing floor space with the brand-new 2014 Mustang in honor of the pony car's 50th Anniversary. Since Ford's latest 'Stang already made its auto show debut (at a number of locations, including Los Angeles), we think it's pretty cool that the Blue Oval did something special for its home-town show.
Check out both the Mustang 1 Concept and first production 1964.5 Mustang above and below.
