Take a look at the list that has been supplied by the
seller. You will note that this
truck was completely restored between 1987 and 1992 at which time the
speedometer was reset back to zero and calibrated. From the point of view of MissChiTown we love the color and
the way the extra chrome just plays off that color. This is a very special truck that will receive accolades
wherever it goes.
We are well aware of the fact that there are many families
of collectors in Australia, New Zealand and Sweden that absolutely love the F1
Ford pickup truck. We are
happy to work with everybody including foreign buyers but we do ask that
foreign buyers register before bidding.

Yes we know that at Barrett-Jackson that they recently sold
a F1 Ford pickup truck for charity for the Children’s Hospital of Saskatchewan
for $450,000.00. And yes we
understand that most of the price paid of that $450,000 was for charity and tax
deductible by the bidders but still they picked out the F1 truck to attract the
deep-pocketed collectors to bid on the truck. Yes 1956 Ford F1s are just about everybody’s favorite.
So keep in mind that the 1956 Ford F1 100 is one of the
hottest trucks in the marketplace right now and this one is one of the best
examples of that breed. When have

Ford hiring 800 more salaried workers than originally expected
Wed, 24 Jul 2013Ford is on a roll this year, with excellent quarterly earnings and better-than-expected vehicle sales leading to 800 more job opportunities with the Blue Oval. In January, Ford announced that it wanted to hire 2,200 salaried employees, but, since then, that figure has been revised to 3,000, representing a 36-percent increase over original projections. About 1,500 of those jobs remain, 80 percent of which are technical professional positions.
"Engineers and technical professionals are in as much demand as our cars, trucks and SUVs," says Felicia Fields, Ford Group Vice President for Human Resources. Helping to spur this job growth are increasing market share on both the West and East Coast and robust demand for the Ford Escape and F-150.
To find job candidates, Ford is reaching out to them via Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn, in addition to the company's corporate career site. The Blue Oval is also ramping up its presence on college campuses.
Ken Block hoons his Ford F-150 RaptorTrax on the slopes
Wed, 08 Oct 2014Ken Block drives Fords. Hoons the heck out of 'em, actually. Mostly Fiestas, but also the occasional Focus or Mustang. But earlier this year, the Gymkhana guru revealed his baddest Ford yet: an F-150 SVT Raptor on tracks. And true to form, here he is putting it to the test in the latest video from Monster Energy and Hoonigan Racing.
Filmed at Baldface Lodge in Nelson, BC, the video pairs Block up with snowboarders Zak Hale and Ethan Deiss for some deep-powder action. You'll want to watch the video for yourself, but the bottom line is that the RaptorTrax beats the heck out of waiting on line for the ski lift. It's enough to make us start to look forward to winter... almost.
2015 Ford Mustang to offer solid-rear axle, sort of
Tue, 17 Dec 2013One of the biggest knocks against the last Ford Mustang was its solid-rear axle. Not one to actively court criticism, Ford dutifully swapped out the old-fashioned rear end for something a bit more modern in the redesigned 2015 Mustang, adding an independent rear suspension across the board.
While an IRS Mustang is great news for those that value handling and ride comfort, there's one big group that it's bad news for - drag racers. See, a solid-rear axle is a big deal for drag racers, because not only is it more durable and cheaper, but it's better for the hard launches that can make or break a race.
To satiate this vocal demographic, Ford will sell a body-in-white version of the Stang, complete with a nine-inch rear axle, that will debut at the 2014 Performance Racing Industry show. The news came from gas2.org, which cited an unnamed employee of Ford Racing at this year's PRI show.
