My 1952 Ford Pickup Street Rod is an awesome combination of Retro Looks match with Today's Performance Standards.
It's Amazing.

Ok, let's get into some specifics. The truck is "motorvated" ...moved by a Mr. Goodwrench Crate 350 (5.7) V8 along
with a new GM 350 Automatic Transmission. Of course the engine and transmission have been "beefed" up to provide this gorgeous truck with a little more performance than what a stock 350 setup provides. It looks great, sounds great, and performs great as well.

There's about 5000 miles on the truck since completion.

And the radiator is a high performance unit to accommodate the V8 and great Vintage Air Conditioning in the truck.

A lot of innovation went into the building of this fabulous 1952 Ford Pickup Street Rod.
Did you notice the grille?
Look directly below and see if you can
figure out what's different about it. Most people can't.

Of course, the chrome speaks for itself. Most stock 1952 Ford Pickups had the grilles painted white or gray.
But look a little harder. Notice anything?
The stock 1952 Ford pickup had 3 vertical "teeth" in the grile. THIS ONE HAS 5.
Isn't that cool?
This was an expensive modification to complete but this beautiful truck deserves the love and attention it got.

Now here's another fun and totally cool thing to consider.
Look at the cab from the side. Notice anything?
You probably don't but the cab was "chopped" 2" , meaning that this cab is 2" shorter than a stock cab.
This doesn't effect your comfort at all as there is plenty of headroom.
But it looks soooooooooo good....don't ya think?

The pictures were taking on my cellphone and don't do this amazing truck justice. The paint is actually quite metallic and
it literally grabs your eyes when the sun is shining.
Looks great.

The interior is exceptionally nice and like I mentioned, it has a great Vintage Air Conditioner/Heat Unit that keeps the cab comfortable
during all times of the year.
And check out that awesome chrome tilt steering column......NICE.
It has the original gauges to retain the nostalgic look but also has a nice set of modern gauges directly to the right.
Looks totally cool.

Oh, did I mention it has electric windows and a great stereo? Well, it does.

Oh, let me also mention that in the past this truck was used for advertising State Farm Insurance Companies.
Check out the license plate on the truck. If you sound it out, it says 1 GOOD NEIGHBOR. Speaks for itself.

The only reason I am selling my beautiful truck is I have the "itch" for a really nice trike such as a Boss Hoss Trike, or a Victory Vision Trike, or a Harley Ultra Trike or some similar really nice trike.
Other than this "itch" of mine, I would not be selling my truck.

Ok, some details about the auction.
I will not sell to foreign buyers but I will work with buyers from Canada and Mexico.
I will not ship but will cooperate with the shipper of your choice or you can fly into the El Paso, TX International airport where I will pick you up and you can drive it home. And it will be a great ride.

Bidders with a 5 or less feedback rating need to call me first at 915-276-1505
to discuss how you would pay, etc or your bid(s) can and probably will be removed without notice.

I reserve the right to remove the auction at anytime as the truck is advertised elsewhere as well.
However, if the auction meets the reserve, I will complete the sale on eBay regardless of any other outside offers I may get.

If payment is made with any kind of check, the truck and title will not be released until the check has had sufficient time to clear my bank.

Or you can deposit the money directly into my Wells Fargo account.

Thanks for looking at my truck

On Oct-31-13 at 20:08:28 PDT, seller added the following information:

I have been asked what type of front end the truck has and I apologize for the oversight. It has a Mustang II front end with power disc brakes. Handles and stops real nice

Ford Focus ST checks into Jay Leno's Garage

Mon, 23 Sep 2013

In a change of pace from the high-end vehicles that often appear in Jay Leno's Garage, Ford sends its hottest hatchback (in the US, at least), the 252-horsepower Focus ST, to be featured on Leno's show. Accompanying the five-door hatch is its chief engineer, Jamal Hameedi.
Riding on stylish 18-inch wheels with summer tires and with a spoiler that doubles as a lunch tray, Hameedi and Leno walk us through the finer points of what makes the ST special, which also includes bigger brakes, torque vectoring, a manual transmission and, of course, 252 hp and 270 pound-feet of torque from the 2.0-liter EcoBoost four-cylinder engine, which is made possible by 21 psi of turbocharged boost.
Watch the video below to see what Leno thinks of the global Focus ST.

Ford Mustang GT350, GT350R order guide leaks online

Wed, Jan 14 2015

Nary a day after the end of the 2015 Detroit Auto Show media days, a bombshell has been dropped in the form of the order guides for the new Shelby GT350 and GT350R. A draft of the complete guide for both track weapons popped up in the forums of Mustang6G, offering the car's biggest fans the most detailed look yet at how the new models can be outfitted. Arguably the most notable news is that Ford lists both cars not as 2016 models, but as 2015s. Wearing the codes 900A and 920A for the GT350 and GT350R, respectively, Ford lists eight available colors, including standard Mustang shades, like Oxford White, Race Red and Competition Orange, as well as a pair of exclusive hues, in Avalanche Gray and Shadow Black. Notably, neither vehicle can be optioned in the gorgeous Liquid Blue of the GT350R show car. Stripe packages are aplenty on the hottest Mustangs, with black, white and blue stripes available on both models. The R cars, though, will be distinguishable by red accents on its optional stripe groups. The standard model will feature an ebony interior, while the high-performance 'Stang will have an ebony cabin with red accents. Aesthetics aside, this order guide gives us the deepest look yet at the available equipment on both models. Not surprisingly, the options list is quite small, with the standard GT350 offering just two packages, racing stripes and a black roof (which we bet will be mutually exclusive with the stripe jobs). The standard car's Technology Pack adds MagneRide, "heavy-duty" front springs, navigation with Sync 3, leather-wrapped, climate-controlled power seats, satellite radio, dual-zone climate control and selectable driving modes. The Track Pack, meanwhile, adds the same driver-selectable modes, MagneRide and the stiffened front springs as the Tech Pack, along with coolers for the engine oil, trans and diff and a strut-tower brace. These two packs are mutually exclusive. Of course, if you're in the market for the GT350R, your only option is the Electronics Pack, which basically adds features deleted by your high-performance trim, such as a stereo and climate control. On top of that, you'll get Sync 3 with navigation and satellite radio. Head over to the Mustang6G forums for a look at the entire order guide.
