I Purchased the vehicle locally (from Jarrett Ford/local Ford main dealer) when it was approx. 6 months old. I am not a dealer (as the ownership time would indicate), but a genuine private seller, who after owning the vehicle for some considerable time now realizes it's time to move on --- but please be assured there are no known faults with the vehicle at all. All subsequent service work, (oil changed every 3,000 miles without fail) has always been carried out at Jarrett Ford (anything that has ever needed attending to has always been done by them/I cannot abide anything that does not work/$1,800 spent two months ago).
The vehicle has been very carefully used and only ever driven by either myself or my wife and is in daily use, (it has not been used heavily or commercially) and has never towed. It has always given us excellent service and has been totally reliable. The interior carpets have always been covered with fitted mats -- (plus the load area has always had an additional carpet over the top of it as added protection). The interior is very clean and shows obvious evidence of being lightly used -- the only slight wear is on the driver seat, (no damage just evidence of daily use with a little fabric creasing)
It is really a very genuine and honest vehicle, very much above average in every respect and well worth travelling for. Genuinely, if you are in the market for a not expensive 8 seater vehicle(third row of seats) Expedition that is ready for any task this one will definitely fit the bill and be hard to beat ---- If I had to drive across America tomorrow I would have absloutely no qualms at all in doing it in this vehicle, there is absolutely nothing wrong with it.
Genuine reason for it's sale --- but please no low ball offers, the reserve is sensible and hopefully it will attract the right type of person who appreciates a genuine vehicle.

Enterprise working with renter's insurance to cover $47k Mustang stolen from its lot
Sat, 11 Jan 2014There was more than a bit of public indigence following the recent story of Enterprise Rent-A-Car billing a customer $47,000 to replace a Ford Mustang GT Convertible stolen from a Nova Scotia lot. To recap: Kristen Cockerill rented the Mustang for two days, returned it to the lot on a Sunday and left the keys in a secure dropbox only for Enterprise employees to find the car gone the next day.
Despite Enterprise policies stating that customers are responsible for vehicles dropped on off-days, the company has admitted that the situation could've been handled a bit better.
In a recent statement, Enterprise has backed off the big-bill story, and claims to be working with Cockerill and her insurance company to resolve the issue. Further, the Enterprise general manager overseeing Nova Scotia has spoken with the harried renter, and apologized "for the way this claim was handled during the last few months."
Car companies used to cook up sales with recipe books
Fri, 08 Aug 2014The evolution of automotive marketing has undergone a number of strange phases. Few, though, match the strangeness of the 1930s to 1950s, when automotive marketers turned to cookbooks as a means of promoting their vehicles. Yes, cookbooks. We can't make this stuff up, folks.
This bizarre trend led to General Motors distributing cookbooks under the guise of its then-subsidiary Frigidaire. Ford, meanwhile, offered a compilation of recipes from Ford Credit Employees (shown above). The cookbook-craze wasn't limited to domestic manufacturers, though. As The Detroit News discovered, both Rolls-Royce and Volkswagen got in on the trend, although not until the 1970s.
The News has the full story on this strange bit of marketing. Head over and take a look.
Ford Mustang GT350 drops some camo
Mon, 03 Feb 2014Now that we've poured over the 2015 Ford Mustang in its standard form, it's time to look ahead. We already knew (and heard - literally) that Ford was working on a higher-performance version of its 'Stang to replace the Shelby GT500, and earlier reports have stated that it will simply be called the GT350.
We don't have a ton of detail to go on, but this latest set of spy photos clearly shows a hood-mounted air scoop, which suggests a forced-induction powerplant is under the hood. However, this disagrees with earlier reports that the GT350 will be all motor, using a naturally aspirated engine to send massive horsepower to the rear wheels. Our spies also point out the functional vent aft of the front wheels to allow for better airflow, and the massive quad exhaust pipes can be seen, clear as day.
Expect to see the Mustang GT350 in April, when it debuts at the New York Auto Show in conjunction with the Pony's 50th anniversary. In the meantime, have a look at our gallery above to see the latest shots of the hot Mustang out testing.
