We recently purchased a new family vehicle, so we are selling this 2005 Ford Expedition since we don't use it any longer. This vehicle runs great there is nothing wrong with it. We've had this car about 7 years and we haven't had any problems with it. The only one who has driven it is my wife. One day while backing up she hit a pole and now there is a dent in the bumper, also the back light there is a little crack. If you want the expedition to look brand new you can change that. Other then that there is nothing else wrong. We take it to get oil changes every 3000 miles. It has AC and Heater. There is rear heat and AC with separate controls, but can also be controlled by the front. The expedition also has a DVD player, it is a ten inch screen, brand new. It comes with leather seats. There is 3rd row seating in the back, the third row seats can all be laid flat and the middle row the seats by the doors can be laid also. All 4 tires are brand new they were changed a year ago. The windows are power windows so you can lock/unlock. ATTENTION: This Expedition comes with 2 automatic remote starters brand being the Viper. There is also a security alarm installed in the expedition, if the alarm goes of you can turn it off with the remote instead of going all the way out to the expedition! The only thing that needs to be changed is the O2 censor I was told for the "check engine" light to be turned off the dash board. Amazon looking to bring Kindle to your next car?

The online retailer and digital media monolith recently announced the Amazon Cloud Player, an application for Ford Sync that allows users to stream media from their Amazon Cloud account directly to a Ford vehicle. This foray into automotive technology got the minds at Gigaom.com thinking about what could be next for Amazon. As Kevin Fitchard writes, the logical step is to make audio versions of your Kindle library selections available in your car. As he points out, Amazon has already laid the groundwork for such a move.
Amazon pulled the sheets back on Whispersync for Voice last year. The tech pairs ebooks with an Audible book for a small extra fee, allowing users to either read along with a narrator or switch between audio and text versions on command. Fitchard says it wouldn't be some great leap to apply the same principles to a car, where voice recognition software would allow users to pause or select chapters without ever taking their eyes off of the road.
It all sounds just fine to us, but Amazon hasn't said a thing about such a move. Still, we wouldn't be surprised to see the company come down this road in the near future just the same.
Next-gen Ford Cobra Jet development underway, but will it be a Mustang?
Wed, 09 Oct 2013Ford might be stepping away from the NHRA, but it isn't abandoning drag racing altogether. Hot Rod says that Ford confirmed a next-gen Cobra Jet factory drag racer is in the works, but the report also speculates that a new Cobra Jet could switch away from the Mustang nameplate.
Even though talk of a new Cobra Jet coincides with the all-new 2015 Mustang, the lack of confirmation for the dragster's platform leaves Hot Rod to guess that the car might switch to another platform - specifically a front-drive-based, unibody car like the Fusion or Taurus. We'd hate to think of a world with a NASCAR-ized dragster from Ford Racing, but it's also highly unlikely that the Mustang Cobra Jet would step away from its quarter-mile rivals like the Chevy COPO Camaro and Dodge Challenger Drag Pak.
2013 Ford C-Max Hybrid recalled over lack of roof padding
Mon, 29 Jul 2013Ford is recalling 33,021 units of its 2013 C-Max Hybrid not equipped with optional panoramic roof panels. During testing, the model in question returned testing results for occupant head injuries that fell outside of criteria laid out in the Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard. The issue puts occupants at greater risk of injury in the event of a crash if they are in an affected car.
The recall will begin August 19, at which time C-Max Hybrid owners can take their cars to dealers to have energy-absorbent material installed between the headliner and roof. The bulletin below from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has more information.
