Very good interior; clean and in good shape, steering wheel shows some wear. Fair to good paint that will polish up well, but has a few dings and scratches. Runs real well; engine is in good shape as is tranny - needs no known repairs. Drive anywhere. Needs new headlight relay and front AC relay. AC needs charge-up and right rear tire needs leak repaired."

2000 Eddie Bauer edition Expedition with the big 5.4 litre Triton engine, full leather interior in tan with Eddie Bauer embroidered on seats - super clean.  It has premium chrome wheels, running boards, rear AC, multi-disc CD, power everything, premium audio, and tons of room!  It has 180,000 miles - mostly highway - and runs real good. The body/paint is not bad and will polish up well, but it does have some dings and scratches reflective of the mileage. Looks great from 20 feet. The headlights need relays replaced and the front AC blower needs a relay as well - the back blows. AC needs a charge-up as well. Also, the passenger rear tire needs a leak repaired - spare on now.

Kelly Blue Book lists the Eddie Bauer edition with that mileage at $4,045 in excellent condition, $3,820 in very good condition, $3,695 in good condition, and $3,170 in fair condition. We have the reserve set low to sell. This is a real good deal for a luxury Eddie Bauer that will be a real nice truck with just a couple of repairs.

2015 Ford Mustang specs revealed, GT to pack 435 HP

Thu, 17 Jul 2014

The 2015 Ford Mustang sounds great so far - at least on paper. Ford has just announced specs for the latest version of the iconic pony car in Dearborn, telling Autoblog that it will pump out as much as 435 horsepower and 400 pound-feet of torque from its 5.0-liter V8.
Those gaudy figures power the naturally aspirated GT model, and they easily eclipse the "more than" 420 hp and 390 lb-ft that Ford originally estimated.
The 2.3-liter turbocharged EcoBoost four-cylinder makes 310 hp and 320 lb-ft, and it's the first turbo Mustang since the 1986 SVO.

Ford Explorer is America's new favorite police car

Mon, 24 Mar 2014

There is a new vehicle that you should keep an eye out for when you're going a little too fast down the Interstate. Ford's Explorer-based Police Interceptor Utility was the bestselling new law enforcement model in the country last year, and signs show that won't be changing anytime soon.
Ford sold 14,086 Interceptor Utilities in 2013, up 140% from the year before, and 10,897 Interceptor Sedans, up 31%, according to USA Today. Overall, the brand's police sales were up 48 percent, and they were enough to boost the company's law enforcement vehicle market share by 9 points to nearly 50 percent.
The success comes just a few years after it made the decision to finally retire the long-serving Crown Victoria-based cruiser for two more modern vehicles. "We had to reinvent the category," said Chris Terry of Ford Communications to Autoblog. The automaker had to convince police departments that a unibody chassis without a V8 could perform better than a model that had been a law enforcement staple for years.

2014 Ford F-150 gets CNG option

Wed, 31 Jul 2013

Ford is toiling away, installing heavy-duty engine components into select 3.7-liter V6s to allow them to run on compressed natural gas (CNG) and liquid petroleum gas (LPG) in addition to gasoline. That's nothing new, but now, Ford has announced that it will offer the 2014 F-150 with this engine configuration, bringing the Blue Oval's total number of CNG/LPG-friendly vehicles up to eight. The F-150 will be the only half-ton pickup on the market that can run on these gases.
Ford will charge $315 per vehicle to equip the optional engine, but the trucks won't be ready to run on the alternative fuels straight from the factory and must be upfitted with additional equipment. A Ford Qualified Vehicle Modifier will install a separate fuel system for the compressed gases at a cost of $7,500 to $9,500, depending on fuel tank size. With the right-size tank, the F-150 equipped with the CNG/LPG-prepped engine can go 750 miles on one tank of gas, according to Ford, averaging 23 miles per gallon.
The practice of offering flex-fuel vehicles is gaining momentum as businesses take advantage of cheap gas. CNG can be bought for $2.11/gallon on average (per gasoline equivalent), and sometimes for as little as $1.00 in some parts of the US, Ford states. "With the money saved using CNG, customers could start to see payback on their investment in as little as 24 to 36 months," says Jon Coleman, Ford's fleet sustainability and technology manager. The automaker expects to sell a total of 15,000 CNG/LPG-prepped vehicles in the 2014 model year.
