Up for sale is a 1998 Ford Expedition XLT 5.4L Triton V8 Motor, with 131,476 miles on it. I bought it in Februrary, planning to repair everything to restore it cosmetically, and tow with it. Title is clear, and in hand. The truck appears to me, to have been in an accident, due to the various body damage that it has on it. Once listed, vehicle information should be available within the listing.
I don't want to put anymore money into it, and am looking to recoup some of the money invested. After I bought it, I had to have the inner and outer tie rods replaced, tires, and an alignment. So the Good-Engine and Trans, Tires, inner and Outer tie Rods, Alignment, and Hitch. Have all paperwork for that recent work which costs me $990 total. It has 4 wheel drive, but when I tried it to get out of a parking spot, it didn't seem to help, so I am not sure what the issue is. Bad- Cosmetically not appealing, and there is a wire that came loose on the passenger side, that appears to plug into something, but didn't keep it from driving. I am not sure what it is, but I drove it back from Chicago that way last night, and have driven it today as well. If I find out what it is, I will ad it to the listing later. It has tan leather seats, that need TLC, and no 3rd row seat. Seatbelts work in the front and the passenger rear side only. The worst area is probably the passenger rear quarter panel, the front passenger headlight and corner light, and the bumpers.
The passenger front window won't come down. The driver's side looks pretty good. There is a hitch on the SUV, but no ball. The back door opens and window, however it did get stuck on me once and wouldn't open. The top hinge of the rear window needs fixing. All items can be found at a junkyard, and replaced. Found headlight 4 piece set on ebay for $50. Has an aftermarket CD player that works, but not great, and speakers are horrible, except maybe one. The exterior is Black, with some flat black painted areas. Feel free to ask me questions, and I will respond the best I can , with what I know about the truck.
Running a 3 day auction, or you can click the Buy it now and buy it immediately. Upon Auction end, payment of $750 is expected within 24 hours, and the remainder within 3 days. Depending on the distance, I may be able to drive it to you, for an extra charge, which I would require through Paypal, and can add to the invoice. If that is of interest, please send me a question through Ebay and let me the city and state you are in. I am near Champaign, Illinois, two hours south of Chicago, Illinois.

2015 Roush Mustang lineup officially revealed
Thu, 02 Oct 2014
Just last week, Saleen revealed initial details of its tuning program for the new Ford Mustang. And now Roush is following suit.
Available in three stages - based on the V6 (RS), EcoBoost (RS1) and V8 (RS2) models - the 2015 Roush Mustangs all feature the venerable Ford tuner's latest R7 aero kit complete with remodeled fascia, five-blade grille, gaping air dam with integrated driving lamps and splitter. Around back there's a one-piece deck spoiler and "race-inspired lower aero-valance."
Ford auctioning off F-35-themed 2015 Mustang for charity
Wed, 16 Jul 2014Ford's been a supporter of EAA AirVenture, a huge, annual air show held in Oshkosh, WI, for several years now, with one of its most notable contributions being a modified Ford Mustang, designed to look like one of America's great fighting aircraft. There was an SR-71 Mustang, based on the legendary spy plane, a Red Tails edition, which honored the ground-breaking Tuskegee Airmen of World War II, as well as Blue Angels and Thunderbird Mustangs, based on America's two great military aerial demonstration teams.
Each car is auctioned off, with all proceeds going to the EAA Young Eagles program, which introduces kids to the joy of flight. For the 2014 AirVenture, which runs from July 28 to August 3, the one-off pony car is based on the new-for-2015 Mustang, and America's latest fighting aircraft - the controversial F-35 Lightning II.
The unique Mustang sports titanium paint scheme, with both glossy and matte sections, as well as yellow-and-blue trim and decal elements inspired by CF-1, the first F-35 test plane. A carbon-fiber front splitter and rear diffuser add some visual eye candy, while the interior boasts a set of Recaro seats. Ford also opted to fit unique wheels and a brawnier rear spoiler, to tie everything together.
Ford using robot drivers to test durability [w/video]
Sun, 16 Jun 2013In testing the durability of its upcoming fullsize Transit vans, Ford has begun using autonomous robotic technology to pilot vehicles through the punishing courses of its Michigan Proving Grounds test facility. The autonomous tech allows Ford to run more durability tests in a single day than it could with human drivers, as well as create even more challenging tests that wouldn't be safe to run with a human behind the wheel.
The technology being used was developed by Utah-based Autonomous Solutions, and isn't quite like the totally autonomous vehicles being developed by companies like Google and Audi for use out in the real world. Rather, Ford's autonomous test vehicles follow a pre-programmed course and their position is tracked via GPS and cameras that are being monitored from a central control room. Though the route is predetermined, the robotic control module operates the steering, acceleration and braking to keep the vehicle on course as it drives over broken concrete, cobblestones, metal grates, rough gravel, mud pits and oversize speed bumps.
Scroll down to watch the robotic drivers in action, though be warned that you're headed for disappointment if you expect to see a Centurion behind the wheel (nerd alert!). The setup looks more like a Mythbusters experiment than a scene from Battlestar Galactica.
