CUSTOM 2013 Conversion 7.3 4x4 Navigation Loaded

I don't even know how to start describing this truck...I have seen some conversions out there, but I'm sure you won't find any one as nice as this - it's one of a kind!. This is our dream truck. It's the right truck for those who absolute love the roomy feeling and comfort, appreciate a sleek vehicle, but won't settle for anything less than the best diesel motor you can have to move you. We invested a LOT of time and money rebuilding this baby. It looks a lot better in person than in pictures.

Please read the description carefully as we did to include all information we have about the truck.
If you have any further questions, feel free to email or reach me 407-300-7518.
We sell trucks locally so we may reserve the right to end the auction at any time.

ENGINE
Truck has a 7.3 diesel engine.  Enough said!
This engine is more famous than ever and any Ford truck enthusiastic will drive in circles to put his hands on this truck. The 7.3 is simply the strongest and most reliable engine ever built on Ford trucks! Truck runs like a dream - motor sounds healthy, transmission shifts very smooth, no leaks, no smoke, super clean and well maintained.

WORK DONE
We got the truck at the auction from the insurance company. It has a TX Salvage Rebuildable title due to front collision. This is what we did: Converted from a 2WD to a 4x4 (replaced front axle, transmission, transfer case and drive shaft). Truck was completely cleaned up. Exterior was painted.
2013 conversion hood, fenders, grille, headlights and all supports and emblems purchased from the Ford dealer. Running boards, mirrors, bumpers and wheel lip mouldings are Ford OEM takeoff quality. We also installed Pioneer Navigation/DVD player/Bluetooth system.
Inside is in great condition and mostly all original. We replaced the 2 front seats for a 2007 style captain seats. Outside truck looks very sharp. Truck is crowd pleaser. People even ask if Ford is making Excursions again!
15k miles ago, engine received new seals (headgasket, crank seals, water pump) and new injectors. Transmission was rebuilt. Dual tail pipe from a 2010 F350. 20" XD Rock Start wheels. Tires in good condition.

Truck is priced right to make new owner happy with the purchase. And we strongly believe this truck is worth every penny you will pay for!!!
We encourage you to come see and drive the truck as we believe it's way better in person than on the pictures.

Truck is located in OrlandoFL.  There are 150 pictures for you to see at  http://www.flickr.com/photos/39947792@N03/sets/72157638450428503/

Thank you.

We chose not to inspect salvage vehicles in Florida prior to sell them because we run into some cases where buyers out of state had to do another inspection on their registering state and needed all original receipts for that purpose. Florida keep all original paperwork about the truck and receipts, so once we turn them in, there’s no getting back. So we leave the inspection for each buyer to do before they register on their home state and we will provide all documentation needed for that use to make sure the truck passes inspection and it can be registered in a timely manner. If you need further information feel free to give us a call.

SALVAGE FACTS
If you are considering buying a salvage vehicle but not sure how it works, here is some step-by-step info we put together to help you out. One great advantage of a salvage truck is that you can beat it up, put a lot of miles, make a lot of money, and when you do decide to sell it, you won’t loose a lot of money because you bought it for less than a clean title. Either way clean, or rebuilt title, Ford trucks don’t go down in price. We buy and sell the same trucks today as we did 4 years ago, simply because Ford trucks are reliable, strong and made to last.

Remember that laws change from state to state, but this is pretty standard for all Motor Vehicle Departments. There are some states, however, that will give you a clean title after the truck passes the inspection. For further info, visit your local DMV website or give them a call.

Step 1
Once you receive your vehicle, save the receipts for the parts used and labor involved on repairing the truck. If we already did all the repairs, we will provide them for you.

Step 2
Contact your local DMV to schedule a salvage inspection.

 Step 3
By the time of inspection, you will have to fill out a DMV form with the vehicle information and list all major parts/components replaced on the vehicle and attach the receipts.

 Step 4
Once the vehicle passes inspection, you can go and register it just like any other vehicle. In most states you will receive a rebuilt salvage title, but in some states, you may even get a clean title afterwards. Check your local DMV for details.

Ford Focus ST, Fiesta ST buyers to get free Octane Academy driving school

Thu, 01 Aug 2013

The Ford Focus ST and Fiesta ST have created plenty of excitement in the sport compact segment, and Ford is looking to make sure that owners are driving and enjoying their cars to the best of their abilities. As an added bonus for buying one of these sporty hatchbacks, Ford will provide a complimentary ST Octane Academy session to be held at the Miller Motorsports Park in Utah.
Attendees will be responsible for travel and lodging, but Ford will provide the driving school free of charge. Included in this two-day trip, ST owners will get class instruction and driving instruction in prepped Focus ST and Fiesta ST models on the track and autocross course. Some karting action will also be involved as will a tour of Ken Block's Hoonigan Racing headquarters located nearby. If this doesn't sound like enough fun, there is also an optional day of activities that includes some more track time in a Mustang GT and off-road instruction in an F-150 SVT Raptor.
Ford told us that those who have already purchased a Focus ST or Fiesta ST will still be able to attend the performance driving school, but the press release, which is posted below, makes it sound like it applies to original owners only. Ford has yet to announce its schedule for the ST Octane Academy or prices for additional activities or guests.

Next-gen Ford Cobra Jet development underway, but will it be a Mustang?

Wed, 09 Oct 2013

Ford might be stepping away from the NHRA, but it isn't abandoning drag racing altogether. Hot Rod says that Ford confirmed a next-gen Cobra Jet factory drag racer is in the works, but the report also speculates that a new Cobra Jet could switch away from the Mustang nameplate.
Even though talk of a new Cobra Jet coincides with the all-new 2015 Mustang, the lack of confirmation for the dragster's platform leaves Hot Rod to guess that the car might switch to another platform - specifically a front-drive-based, unibody car like the Fusion or Taurus. We'd hate to think of a world with a NASCAR-ized dragster from Ford Racing, but it's also highly unlikely that the Mustang Cobra Jet would step away from its quarter-mile rivals like the Chevy COPO Camaro and Dodge Challenger Drag Pak.

Here's what the UAW will be angling for in next year's contract negotiations

Mon, Dec 15 2014

The United Auto Workers union is about to enter a new round of negotiations with the Detroit Three automakers, and this time, the focus is on the end of the two-tier wage system. Introduced in 2007, the two-tier wage system was enacted to allow General Motors, Ford and Chrysler to categorize its hourly employees under two categories: Tier 1 for veteran employees with full rights and benefits, and Tier 2 for short-term or entry-level employees compensated under a different schedule. The idea was that the system would permit the automakers to invest more in their plants and hire new employees as part of their respective recovery plans without being saddled with all the costs associated with hiring full-time employees. Now that the automakers are (more or less) back on their proverbial feet, however, the UAW wants to see an end to the two-tier system, and will likely make that a center-point of its negotiations next year to replace the current arrangement that is scheduled to end in September 2015. Not all members of the UAW will necessarily be interested in ending the two-tier system, however. According to The Detroit News, some Tier 1 workers may be more interested in negotiating a raise in their hourly rate – something which they haven't received in almost a decade. Tier 2 workers, meanwhile, may be more motivated to keep the tiered system in place, as their arrangement includes provisions for profit-sharing payments that have seen the automakers pay out billions to so-called short-term employees in lump-sum payments. Reconciling the two competing demands from two categories of union members and presenting a united front in negotiations may prove the biggest challenge for the UAW's new president, Dennis Williams. And with the right to strike – something which was suspended during the last round of negotiations in 2011 – the union has a bigger bargaining chip in its pocket.
