Up for your consideration is a Used, Loaded 2008 Ford Edge Limited AWD with 31,930 miles. It will be more as this is my wife's daily driver. It is fully loaded with just about everything you can think of. Heated Leather seats, huge panoramic sunroof, heated mirrors, power lift gate, 20" wheels and tires with plenty of life left. Navigation, Bluetooth, all power seats, mirrors, locks, sunroof, sunshade. Trip, info center, The only thing I know it doesn't have is the ambient lighting inside the cup holders. If you are looking for an Edge, then you probably know that the Limited AWD is the top of the line. I don't know of any higher level. It is used so it has some wear/signs of use in typical places like the floor mats, etc, etc. The Sync system has had its most recent update according to our Ford dealer.
The only negatives I know of is what look like water spots (4) on the center console. They won't rub out and they were there when she bought it and some "rim rash" or "curb rash" as seen in the pic. My wife is small and sits very close to the wheel. She has a hard time seeing out and to the sides so she nicked a curb. Having a hard time seeing out along with the fact that we want a house and land in the country are the only reasons for selling. There are no problems with it now or ever since she has owned it.
We have a transferable Ford ESP Premium level 7yr -125K mile coverage. You pay Ford $150 to transfer to your name. This is also top of the line for coverage. You can google Ford ESP plans for a PDF file with info about the plans.
We are looking for the payoff, which is under blue book. She has a note with her bank, so payment needs to clear the bank before you can pick it up and get your title.
If it sells, I will be sure to give it a free clay bar cleaning and a fresh wax before you pick it up. The paint will be smooth as glass.
Any questions? or if you need specific pictures, please ask, I will be happy to email you some more. Thanks and good luck bidding.

Is this the 2017 Ford F-250 and its all-new aluminum body?
Thu, Mar 12 2015We don't have much to go on, but our friends at Jalopnik have uncovered a completely undoctored photo (used with permission) of what appears to be the 2017 Ford F-250 Super Duty. There's no indication of what's under the boxy new sheetmetal – our bet, like that of Jalopnik, is that the 6.2-liter gasoline-powered V8 will join the latest torque-monster of a 6.7-liter PowerStroke V8 – but we're still left with lots of time to work out the details. For now, we see the same kind of upright and in-your-face styling that we've come to expect from the Ford Super Duty, including more chrome than a '60s Cadillac up front and huge headlight clusters that cut deeply into the side bodywork. We also note plenty of glass making up the large greenhouse, which should be a boon for visibility. Of course, the big news is the actual metal that the body is stamped from. We're expecting to see lots of aluminum, with the heavy-duty pickup following the smaller, lighter-duty F-150 into the lightweight realm for increased fuel savings and greater pulling and hauling capabilities. Stay tuned for more. Related Video: News Source: JalopnikImage Credit: Jalopnik Ford Truck Future Vehicles Off-Road Vehicles ford f-250 autoblog black
Car companies used to cook up sales with recipe books
Fri, 08 Aug 2014The evolution of automotive marketing has undergone a number of strange phases. Few, though, match the strangeness of the 1930s to 1950s, when automotive marketers turned to cookbooks as a means of promoting their vehicles. Yes, cookbooks. We can't make this stuff up, folks.
This bizarre trend led to General Motors distributing cookbooks under the guise of its then-subsidiary Frigidaire. Ford, meanwhile, offered a compilation of recipes from Ford Credit Employees (shown above). The cookbook-craze wasn't limited to domestic manufacturers, though. As The Detroit News discovered, both Rolls-Royce and Volkswagen got in on the trend, although not until the 1970s.
The News has the full story on this strange bit of marketing. Head over and take a look.
'84 MotorWeek Cherokee, Bronco and Blazer comparison indulges your SUV nostalgia
Fri, Jan 16 2015These days, truck-based, full-frame SUVs are somewhat of a rarity on the auto landscape due to the rapid rise in popularity of easier-driving, car-based crossovers. Although, without the gradually building popularity of these chunky, high-riding vehicles decades ago, it's unlikely that America's roads would be filled with so many CUVs today. In its latest dig into the archives, MotorWeek has found a 1984 comparison test of a trio of these early Sport Utility Wagons, as long-time host John Davis called them, that helped get acceptance of this segment going. This is a red, white and blue test of the SUVs from American automakers at the time and pits the Chevrolet Blazer, Ford Bronco and Jeep Cherokee (specifically in Wagoneer guise) against each other. Driving manners and interior usability are considered in the evaluation, but Motorweek actually takes these vehicles off road, too. Among the bigger revelations is the improvement in on-road ability in the past 30 years. While specific 0-60 times aren't given, all three models take around 10 seconds just to get to around 50 miles per hour in the 500-feet on-ramp acceleration test. Check out this clip to see just how far this segment has progressed in the past three decades or just get a blast of nostalgia from these now vintage models.
