2007 Ford E-250 Super Duty Handicap accessible van. 53,347 miles as of posting date. VERY clean, VERY nice! The conversion is an "Ultra" by Mobility Works. Body and interior are in great shape, although not perfect. A small dent, ding and scratch here and there on the body, and a few wear marks on the interior, but overall this van is EXCEPTIONAL! A great running 5.4 liter engine, automatic transmission, aluminum wheels, tires with approximately 60% tread remaining. New spare tire, towing package, running boards, raised roof, tinted windows, and a new battery. On the inside (up front) it has power door locks, power windows, power mirrors, power driver's seat, cruise control, tilt steering wheel, front and rear air conditioning and heat which work perfectly, and an AM/FM/CD player in the dash. The driver AND passenger seats in the front are both easily removable (on wheels) to accommodate a handicapped driver, or passenger that chooses to ride in the front of the van, although the driver compartment is not equipped with hand controls. In the rear it has a flat screen television paired with a Soundstream brand AM/FM/CD/DVD player so you can listen to music or watch a movie. The floor has been lowered, and the roof raised, by the factory for ease of loading / unloading wheelchair passengers. There is a very strong four point tie down system for the wheelchair, in the rear, incorporated with a shoulder restraint for the wheelchair passenger. The chair lift is a Braun Millennium Series, which can be operated from 3 different locations inside and outside of the van. It works flawlessly. The far rear seat is still in place for an additional 3 passengers. The van will safely transport 5 passengers in the seats (all with seat belts), and 1 passenger in a wheelchair. Other amenities include valance lighting, courtesy lighting, and lots of storage in the back behind the rear seat. This van runs and drives great with no issues or problems. I can be reached through email: jeepscum@yahoo.com, or by telephone 812-987-5932. I will be happy to answer any questions you may have. If I don't answer your phone call immediately PLEASE leave a message and I will return ALL phone calls after I get home from work, thanks!

2015 Ford Edge holds line on pricing, starts at $28,100*
Tue, 04 Nov 2014The Ford Edge gets an updated platform, bolder styling and a standard 2.0-liter turbocharged EcoBoost engine pumping out 245 horsepower and 270 pound-feet of torque for the 2015 model year. You might expect that all those new features would result in a big price bump, but you'd be wrong. Ford is keeping costs identical to the 2014 model with a starting MSRP of $28,100 (*plus an $895 destination charge), according to Edmunds. Ford spokesperson William Mattiace confirmed the numbers to Autoblog.
That's a pretty good deal, but the real ticket here might be the model's Sport trim. Buyers get a 2.7-liter, twin-turbocharged V6 EcoBoost engine with over 300 horsepower and standard adaptive steering for $28,600 plus destination. That's just $500 more than the base model.
Pricing for the Titanium trim has not yet been announced, but it'll be a short wait to find out. Mattiace tells Autoblog that full pricing and the configuration for the model will launch on November 5. He has also confirmed that the 2015 Edge will begin hitting dealers in the first quarter of 2015.
Petersen Museum celebrates 50 years of Ford Mustang with special exhibit
Mon, May 5 2014If you're a pony-car enthusiast, this is your year. Not only has Ford introduced an all-new Mustang, but it's also the 50th anniversary of the original. Celebrations and commemorations have been scheduled throughout the year, and not the least of them is the latest exhibit at the Petersen Automotive Museum in Los Angeles. Called "Mustangs Forever: 50 Years of a Legend", the exhibit includes Mustangs from every generation of the iconic pony car, including the 1965 convertible Ronald Reagan drove during his California gubernatorial campaign, a 1971 Mach 1 Cobra Jet, a 1974 Mustang II, 1993 SVT Cobra, 2000 Cobra R and a 2006 Shelby GT-H. Special sections focus on motorsports, aftermarket modifiers and limited-edition models. The display opened on Sunday with the Mustang Madness spectacular and will run for the next six months, but if you're not heading to Southern California within the coming half-year then you can scope out all the action in our live gallery of photos above.
Ford F-150 SVT Raptor sales jumping to new heights
Thu, 12 Sep 2013Ford can't seem to build F-150 SVT Raptors fast enough. The off-road-ready trucks have been one of the Blue Oval's most reliable sellers, with record sales in eight of the last 10 months and a 14-percent jump in 2013. That's impressive enough, considering that the least expensive Raptor starts at $44,000. Factor in the modded F-150's fuel economy (it's rated at 11 miles per gallon in the city and 16 on the highway) and a national average gas price, as of this writing, of $3.55 per gallon, and its success is as unlikely as Ford's home team, the Detroit Lions, winning the Super Bowl this year (sorry, Lions fans, we're just quoting the experts in Vegas...).
Yet for some reason, Raptors spend an average of just 15 days on dealer lots before being snapped up, which is a quarter of the 60-day industry average. According to Ford's truck group marketing manager, Doug Scott, it's capability that keeps the Raptor selling strong. "What's helping drive Raptor sales is that Raptor delivers unmatched off-road performance to our customers. Raptor is also proof of our commitment to offer a truck for every customer and continuously improving them to meet our customers' evolving needs."
To address the strong demand for Raptors, Ford will bump production from three trucks per hour to five. Not much, we agree. But building an extra 48 trucks per day, at most, seems like a prudent way of addressing demand without oversaturating what is ultimately a niche market. Check out the press release below for more.
