Clean one owner vehicle history report. We have the vehicle history report on file and will forward it to you upon request. This vehicle was owned and operated by the Department of Homeland Security here in El Paso, Texas. It has never been driven on salted roads. NO RUST. This was a CBP motor pool vehicle used for transportation and prisoner escort. It was not a patrol vehicle. The interior is black cloth with a black vinyl rear seat and black vinyl floors. It's in good shape. The power windows, power locks, cruise control, tilt wheel, power side view mirrors, power trunk release, heated rear glass and CD stereo all work as they should. This car has the limited slip, 3:27 Trac-Lok rear end. FAST. The 4.6 litre 250 horsepower police interceptor engine has awesome power and starts and runs great. The automatic transmission shifts crisp and smooth. The brakes have been inspected and are in good shape. The suspension is good and the car handles well. The tires are in fair shape. They will get you home but they should be replaced at some point. The body is in good shape but there are some minor nicks and scrapes. The front fascia has a couple of small chunks of plastic missing where it meets the front of the hood (see photo). We had this car inspected for structural damage and found none. We welcome independent inspections and will do what we can to help. See www.inspectmyride.com for a local inspection. I can't anticipate every question so PLEASE call me at 915-244-2871 or send me an email at sselk1.tom@gmail.com or through eBay if you need more information. ASK A LOT OF QUESTIONS. I always answer my phone calls and email. We are a licensed auto dealer and will provide you with a legal temporary buyer's tag if you decide to drive this P71 home. All fresh filters and fluids so fly into the El Paso International Airport and drive this car anywhere with confidence. We will be happy to pick you up at the airport. This car looks, drives and handles well and we stand by our description as accurate but it is a used vehicle and is being sold as is. Please call me if you have any specific concerns. Here is a video of the car. Please watch it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XXEDZyYwSyE

China takes lead as GM's No. 1 market
Tue, 09 Jul 2013It's happened. General Motors' biggest vehicle market - at least in terms of new model sales - is China. According to TheDetroitBureau.com, GM and its various Chinese joint venture operations enjoyed a 10.6-percent sales increase in the first half of 2013, selling almost 1.6 million units in the market. That puts GM China about 200,000 units ahead of its US sales totals over the same period - this, despite indicators that the communist nation's economy is losing momentum.
TDB notes that like GM, rival Ford has also enjoyed a robust 2013 in China thus far, with its sales up a whopping 47 percent to 407,721 units sold - 75,254 of them in June alone. Between the two US automakers, passenger car sales for the first half of 2013 are up around 14 percent, well ahead of the rest of the industry's 10-percent growth estimates for the market. Some of the sales growth may come as a result of an overall anti-Japan sentiment in China, though the American brands have long outsold their Japanese counterparts in the country.
By The General's own predictions, China will only continue to grow in sales importance. The company has designs on selling over five million cars a year in the market before the end of the decade, a total that figures to dramatically widen the gap versus its US totals - even if America's auto market makes a full recovery to the the salad days of over 17-million units a year.
2015 Ford Mustang to make world debut on Dec. 5 [w/video]
Tue, 19 Nov 2013Between a bevvy of spy shots, speculative renders and insidery images from the halls of Car and Driver, we've got a pretty decent idea of what the 2015 Ford Mustang might look like. Still, we're excited to see the real deal as soon as possible.
Turns out that Ford has told us just when that first official look might come, too, although it has chosen somewhat of a backdoor fashion for dropping the news.
The video below popped up on the Ford Mustang YouTube channel this morning, promoting a social media effort called #MustangInspires on. The video and hashtag ask fans of the pony car to share pictures of the car - or "photographic stories of inspiration" - on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, etc. But the truly interesting part of the video description is that which mentions taking "the cover off the all-new Mustang" on December 5. Consider our calendars marked.
Ford gives S-Max the Vignale treatment in Milan
Wed, 09 Apr 2014Ford has a bit of a history in reviving the names of old coachbuilders it has long since gobbled up and using them to distinguish its top-of-the-line models in Europe. That's what it did for years with Ghia, and after having replaced it several years ago with the Titanium trim level, now it's doing it again with Vignale.
At the Frankfurt Motor Show last year, Ford revealed the Mondeo Vignale concept in both sedan and wagon body-styles, which are set to reach production next year. But before they do, the Blue Oval automaker is at it again, applying similar upgrades to the S-Max minivan and unveiling it in concept form in Milan this week.
Setting the Vignale concept apart from any other S-Max is its Milano Grigio rose-hued silver pearlescent paint, 21-inch alloys, chrome trim and hexagonal-pattern grille. Inside it's all ultra-soft quilted leather and aluminum trim, with tablet docking stations in the back and thinner, more flexible seats than the existing production version.
