Ford Bronco 1971 Body on 2040-cars
Memphis, Tennessee, United States
This auction is for a 1971 Ford Bronco body. It had a 302 V-8 motor in it but the motor and transmission are not with the vehicle. There is no title because many states will drop a vehicle off of the registration records if they are not licensed for a certain amount of years. Tennessee will remove a vehicle from the title files if it has not been registered for 5 years. This vehicle was rescued from a trip to the chrusher and will provide you with many years of use. The terms are $500 sent by Paypal at the end of the auction. The balance will be due by cashiers check or cash before the vehicle will be released for shipment. You are responsible for any pick up and transportation from Memphis TN to your home. I can work with a broker to help arrange the facilitation of the transportation of the Bronco to your place of residence. You can also look at what these "Box Broncos" bring in a running and driving condition. I have also know of people to buy a V-8 Ford Explorer 4X4 or All Wheel Drive as a donor vehicle for the building up of a Bronco. There are many other ways this vehicle can be made into a rock crawler or a hunting vehicle. The choice is yours. Good Luck bidding.

Ford barely edges surging Chrysler for Canadian sales crown in best year ever
Thu, Jan 8 2015The auto industry in the US showed strong results through much of 2014 with sales regularly growing year-over-year for many brands. That same trend carried over in the Great White North, as well. Canada posted its best numbers ever with 1.85 million units sold, up about 100,000 vehicles over 2013. The country nearly had a new market leader, too. The big winner among our neighbors to the north in 2014 was Ford with 291,951 vehicles sold, up 3 percent from 2013, according to Reuters. That success also handed the company the sales crown for the fifth consecutive year. In large part, the strong result came from the company's popular trucks, which represented about 80 percent of overall sales. "Ford moved into the number one position in September and didn't look back," said a note to clients by DesRosiers Automotive Consultants quoted by Reuters. However, the Blue Oval didn't exactly take an overwhelming lead for the year. The company nearly had to hand over the sales trophy to FCA after the company rallied in the latter part of the year. The Italian-American conglomerate had its best results ever to nip at the Ford's heels and move 290,004 units for 2014, a 12-percent improvement from last year. Jeep especially helped the bottom line with over 50-percent growth, according to Reuters. Only two other brands were able to break the 200,000-vehicle barrier in Canada for 2014. General Motors came in third place overall with 249,800 sales, up 6.3 percent. The combined Toyota and Lexus also barely jumped the hurdle with 200,851 units moved, a 2.8 percent improvement.
Can an actual Ford F-150 ride on 4 Power Wheels F-150s?
Tue, Dec 9 2014A lot of kids are rough on their toys, especially when it comes to those made to be used outside, like a four-wheeled kid-size Power Wheels. Whether it's cruising through the sand box, carrying piles of rocks in the driveway or crashing around trees in the backyard, these motorized vehicles often take punishment from the moment the giftwrap comes off. The folks at Fisher-Price decided to give their latest F-150 Power Wheels a true torture test worse than any kid could have ever managed by setting a real 2015 Ford F-150 on top of four of them. Would the little toy trucks explode in a shower of plastic shards in a massive collapse, and if not, could they drive away afterwards? The latest F-150 might be 700 pounds lighter thanks to the switch to aluminum, but it's still a fullsize pickup. According to this clip, the truck weighs in at 4,120 pounds, which puts an average of 1,030 pounds on each of the toys. Check out the video above to see how the stunt goes, and click on the gallery below for some behind-the-scenes looks at the setup.
