This is my 1996 Ford Bronco! I've driven this truck EVERYWHERE! It runs and drives out beautifully. The engine is a 302ci 5.0L V8. The engine was rebuilt in April of 2011. It has roughly 18,000-20,000 miles on it since then. It also has a new distributor, ignition module, plugs, wires, fuel pump, alternator, and A/C compressor.  The transmission shifts out great and was rebuilt in January of 2011. Roughly the same mileage on the transmission as on the engine. It has a 3.5" suspension lift with Skyjacker shocks all around. All ball joints were replaced during the lift as well as the rest of the front end components.  Has a locker in the front differential. Warn manual hubs on each wheel. Straight flowmaster exhaust with dump downs on the muffler. Goodyear Wrangler Duratrac A/T tires in like new condition. New drilled and slotted rotors in the front as well as new wheel bearings and pads. Rear brakes have new drums, wheel cylinders and shoes. This Bronco drives like it's still brand new because basically it is. I've taken very well care of this truck and it has had its maintaince done during every scheduled time. Every 3 months the oil would get changed out even though the mileage wasn't close to 3,000. If your in the market for a slick looking 4x4......I'm telling you THIS IS THE ONE!!!! Drives like a dream and Rides like a dream! 4-wheel drive is strong and never has been abused!! The front 3-piece headlights were replaced with one unit lights and silverstar bulbs. I think it sets the front end of this truck off! Also has Bushwacker fender flares on each wheel well. 15% tint all around the windows and a visor on the roof!!

There are a couple minor issues with the truck but for the age of it, they are normal. It has a small bit of rust at the bottom of the tailgate as you can see in the pictures. Also has a little on the driver side in front of the fender flare. The interior is in very good shape. The only issue is a small crack in the passenger dash pad. It's easily removable if you would wish to replace it.

ABOUT THE MILEAGE!!!!.........The odometer in the old instrument cluster was unreadable. I ordered a new one without knowledge of the mileage and installed it. It says 193,xxx miles on it. This is not the actual mileage. When I purchased the vehicle, I was told it was around 112,000 give or take a few. It looked as if it said 108,000 when I would tap my finger on it. I asked the Ford dealer here if the odometer was stored in another place and they told me it is stored in the instrument cluster itself. I'd like to say for certain that the mileage is closer to 125k-130k now but I can't guarantee that.

That's about it for my Bronco! If you have any questions, feel free to give me a call or email me. My name is Nick and my number is 918-899-6478. You can call or text me anytime.

It comes with a clear Oklahoma title.

Ford Focus RS makes US debut in New York, hits dealers Spring 2016

Wed, Mar 25 2015

Attendees at the 2015 New York Auto Show will be among the first American consumers to see the all-new, third-generation Ford Focus RS. The Blue Oval announced the super-hot hatch will make its US debut in the Big Apple next week and will arrive in dealers roughly one year from now. We've covered the raging Ford, which is being sold in the US for the very first time, ad nauseam. It debuted in early February, made its auto show debut at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show and is finally crossing the Atlantic, complete with at least 315 horsepower from a 2.3-liter, turbocharged four-cylinder. A trick, torque-vectoring all-wheel-drive system, an industry-first Drift Mode, a proper six-speed manual transmission and looks that can kill round out what we're wagering is a wildly entertaining package. On top of announcing the Focus RS will hit dealers in the spring of 2016, Ford gave us our first look at a production color. While the Geneva Focus RS was finished in the same Liquid Blue as the Ford GT, Mustang GT350R and SVT Raptor that showed up in Detroit, the hue on the NYAS car, called Nitrous Blue, is one of four that will actually be sold on the Focus RS. While we're waiting to see it in person to render our final judgment, based on pictures alone, we're smitten. Alongside Nitrous Blue, Ford will offer the Focus RS in Stealth Gray, Shadow Black and Frozen White. In other news, your author will be starting the official campaign to bring back the gorgeous green from the last-gen RS immediately. Check back next week. Until then, scroll down for the official press release from Ford. Ford looks to space robots to improve car-to-car communications [w/video]

Wed, 21 Aug 2013

Ford has partnered with St. Petersburg Polytechnic University for three years to research various kinds of connected vehicle communications. The university tie-up is part of its study of space robots, NASA systems created to enable space-to-Earth communication, and the university's own development of systems that enable communication between the International Space State and Earth.
The objective is for Ford to engineer layers of robust networks and redundancy systems that will allow your car to speak to other cars, to emergency vehicles, to infrastructure like traffic lights and buildings, and to the cloud. Benefits would come in just about every area of transit, from avoiding accidents, to getting medical workers to an accident more quickly, to improving the flow of traffic during rush hour.
Check out the press release below for details on what Ford wants to learn from the JUSTIN Humanoid and NASA Robonaut R2, and a video of technical leader Oleg Gusikhin discussing his interest in the project.

24 Hours of Le Mans live update part two

Sun, Jun 19 2016

We tasked surfing journalist Rory Parker to watch this year's live stream of the 2016 24 Hours of Le Mans. What follows is an experiment to experience the world's greatest endurance race from the perspective of a motorsports novice. Parker lives in Hawaii and can hold his breath longer than he can go without swearing. For Part One, click here. Or you can skip ahead to Part Three here. I write about surfing for a living. If you can call it a living. Basically means I spend my days fucking around and my wife pays for everything. Because she's got a real job that pays well. Brings home the bacon. Very progressive arrangement. Super twenty first century. I run a surf website, beachgrit.com, with two other guys. It's a strange gig. More or less uncensored. Kind of popular. Very good at alienating advertisers. My behavior has cost us a few bucks. I'm terrible at self-censorship. Know there's a line out there, no idea where it lies. I still don't understand any of the technical side. Might as well be astrophysics or something. For contests I do long rambling write ups. They rarely make much sense. Mainly just talk about my life, whatever random thoughts pop into my head. "Can you do something similar for Le Mans?" "Sure, but I know absolutely fuck-all about racing." "That's okay. Just write what you want." "Will do. But you're gonna need to edit my stuff. Probably censor it heavily." So here I am. I spent the last week trying to learn all I can about the sport of endurance racing. But there's only so much you can jam in your head. And I still don't understand any of the technical side. Might as well be astrophysics or something. While I rambled things were happening. Tracy Krohn spun into the gravel on the Forza chicane. #89 is out of the race after an accident I missed. Pegasus racing hit the wall on the Porsche curves. Bashed up front end, in the garage getting fixed. Toyota and Porsche are swapping back and forth in the front three. Ford back in the lead in GTE Pro. #91 Porsche took a stone through the radiator, down two laps. Not good. The wife and I are one of those weird childless couples that spend way too much time caring for the needs of their pet. French bulldog, Mr Eugene Victor Debs. Great little guy. Spent the last four years training him to be obedient and friendly. Nice thing about dogs, when you're sick of dealing with them you can just lock 'em in another room for a few hours. You don't need to worry about paying for college.
