1994 Ford Bronco XLT White Sport**Only 3 Previous Owners****Detailed Ford Maintenance Service Records since 1997, below are the astonishing pics of records measuing over 5ft long and 2.5 ft wide!** This is a Bronco with a detailed history like no other on eBay. Thats right, please hear me when I say "LIKE NO OTHER". This Bronco was owned/driven by a 67 year old women who kept every service record during her ownership from 1996-2013. Among just a few records, a completely rebuilt Ford transmission was installed by Ford at 150k miles. The 8.8 rear was completely rebuilt by Ford at 160k miles. This Bronco followed a strict guideline of maintenance and it shows. To showcase her obsessive and detailed love of this Bronco, she even hand recorded every time she filled up with fuel, how much it was per gallon and the date!!!!!!! Words cannot describe the level of dedication put into the upkeep of this Bronco. The Oxford White paint is immaculate and shines like new. It has been stored inside a garage since new. The interior is a beautiful light opal gray cloth. The interior is in amazing condition with no
rips or tears. The driver's seat does have a scuff but the cloth is not punctured. A bit difficult to describe but please see all of the 70 pictures included. The interior carpet has no rips, tears, marks and is free of stains. Partly due to the Bronco being outfitted with matching gray Husky floor liners throughout. Bronco is completely stock aside from update JVC Stereo, door speakers, and aftermarket alarm with 2 key pads and both sets of original keys. All windows and functions perform flawlessly i.e, A/C, heat, cruise, 4x4hi/lo, overdrive, etc. The exterior is mind blowing. The paint is flawless, there is no rust or fading. White is very difficult to shine brilliantly but this paint is as smooth as glass and is prize worthy. Please take note of the bumpers, and tailgate top. Not once single scratch or mark. There is one small chip on the hood (pictured) thats smaller than en eraser on a pencil. Not to shabby for a 20 year old SUV. Its evident this Bronco was never used offroad or for work. You'd be hard pressed to even believe it brought home groceries! The original Goodyear fullsize spare has never touched the ground. Mechanically, this Bronco might as well be new. All stock aside from an aftermarket exhaust from the catalytic converter back. Strictly for appearances, this exhaust provides a very low rumble. Just enough to remind you of the powerful 5.8 residing underneath the hood. The engine is quiet with no funny noises, smells, etc. Its as smooth running as it was in 1994. The transmission has only 17k miles, so it literally is like it was in 1994. The undercarriage of the this Bronco is remarkable. IT DOESN'T LEAK A DROP OF ANYTHING!!!!! You wont find that in most Bronco's....even ones with lower mileage. There is not even a hint of moisture! Everything is new. The 31" Michelin's have 95% treadlife remaining, the radiator hoses are new, battery is new, winshield wipers, fresh oil change, transmission, rear axle, brakes, spark plugs/wires, etc. Literally......everything. With proof of receipts! If you are looking for a stunning Bronco that runs and drives as good as it looks with a mountain of receipts to back it up, then please take the time to see this Bronco. You can buy one with lower miles, but if you cant prove how well its been maintained, then whats the point in lower miles? Located 1 hour south of Atlanta. Fly in, drive home. Is that the Ford GT Le Mans racer in the background of this Forza video?
Mon, Jan 26 2015Shortly after the reveal of the new Ford GT in Detroit a couple of weeks ago, Microsoft announced that it was putting the new American supercar on the cover of the upcoming sixth installment of the Forza Motorsport video game series. Now it has put out a video of the process of digitizing Dearborn's latest. Whether you're into Detroit steel (or carbon fiber and aluminum in this case), exotic supercars or video games, the video is worth a watch in and of itself. But our eyes were focused on something else. In the background of one shot (around the 1:49 mark) you can see a design board with renderings of what looks to be the rumored racing version of the GT – complete with reshaped air intakes, deeper side sills, a bigger rear wing and a central rear fin like you'd find on the latest LMP1 racing prototypes. It wouldn't be the first time we've caught wind of the prospect of the Blue Oval's new supercar going racing. We first heard of the plans last October, further reinforced in December with reports of the new GT coming to Detroit. And as we reported just a couple of weeks ago following the supercar's reveal, a return to Le Mans could be in the cards – which would be fortuitous timing, since next year will mark the 50th anniversary of the original GT40 scoring its landmark 1-2-3 finish in the 24-hour race.
Ford considering return to Le Mans with new EcoBoost LMP2
Mon, 21 Jul 2014If you want to see a Ford racing prototype, you need look no further than the United SportsCar Championship, where the Blue Oval fields two Daytona Prototypes powered by an EcoBoost-branded 3.0-liter twin-turbo V6. But according to the latest rumors, that may not be enough for Ford, which has as much brand to promote overseas as it does back home.
That could be why Racer magazine is reporting that Ford may be poised to return to Le Mans in the coming years. As we all know, Ford competed at Le Mans in the mid-through-late '60s, bringing home four consecutive overall wins with the legendary GT40. The new program would not, according to Racer, seek to relive those glory days, but would instead compete for class wins in the LMP2 category.
Currently, LMP2 regulations are somewhat split between the United SportsCar Championship in North America on the one hand and ACO-sanctioned series like the European Le Mans Series, Asian Le Mans Series and FIA World Endurance Championship on the other, but plans are underway for the regulations to be unified in time for the 2017 season. That could be when Ford is targeting its return, allowing it to compete on both sides of the Atlantic to maximize its exposure.
Ford Mustang hit by Moore' Oklahoma's EF5 tornado lives to do another burnout
Fri, 07 Jun 2013Oklahoma recently saw the destructive power of an EF5 tornado, but in the aftermath of the devastation, we've also been witness to the incredible resilience of the human spirit. Moore, OK resident Jack Haden survived the storm but found that his 2003 Ford Mustang wasn't quite as lucky. As you can see in the image above, the tornado's 200+ mph winds did quite a number on the car, but while most people would have likely called their insurance company and scrapped the car, Haden had other plans.
After finding the car and seeing that its V6 still fired up, Haden spent a couple hours getting the car, um... roadworthy(?)... by removing the doors and front clip, cutting off the roof and putting on some new wheels and tires. He noticed that driving it around brought some comic relief to an area that needed a reason to laugh and smile.
