This is a very nice 1987 Ford Bronco XLT. Runs and drives great, 302 V8 with automatic/overdrive AOD trans. 4X4. The paint and body are original. there are some minor rust and paint issues. Paint is a little faded but overall looks nice. There have been a few spots touched up because of surface rust and nicks and scratches. The tailgate has some rust at the bottom, there is a piece of trim on the bottom of the tailgate that covers it up. The interior looks pretty nice with normal wear. There is a small repair on passenger front seat. The pictures show most of the problems. The tires are three years old with maybe 2500 miles. It was sold new in California and has been in Ohio for 14 years. We do have it for sale locally and would end the auction if it sells. You can contact me if you like at 513-617-8691. National Geographic Channel balances Ford F-150 on four coffee mugs
Wed, 29 Jan 2014Proving that there is still something to be learned on television these days, National Geographic Channel recently introduced a new series called Duck Quacks Don't Echo. On the first episode of this science/comedy show, host Michael Ian Black proposes the idea that a truck can be supported with a ceramic coffee mug under each wheel - yes, he says that the entire weight of a truck can be balanced on just four coffee mugs.
Looking to find out whether this is fact or myth, the show uses a regular cab Ford F-150, weighing in at 4,800 pounds, and four average coffee mugs.
