1976 Ford Bronco. 302 crate motor with less then 6k on new motor. 3.5 wild horses suspension lift with 33x12.5 tires. 3-speed, new carb, Front disks brakes, new 23 gallon fuel tank, new distributor, coil, plugs and wires. All paint and body work was completed in Nov. of 2011. new front and rear fenders. I started with the top off last summer which led to both doors a week later, and then I just took the windshield off. Now for the flaws, driver side window frame is cracked where it meets the door (pictured), its not a big deal I never got a chance to order the bolt on ones for approx. $130, which allows you to take off so there is no frame around the windows when the top is off. A few scratches on pass rear fender (pictured), and 1 tire has a different pattern. Same brand and size but different, nobody has pointed it out yet. The windshield wipers are not on but have them. Has a new radio but doesn't have speakers, and it might need a new blower motor. Its nothing that stopped me or made a big deal. The new driveshaft will be installed this wknd, its made especially for lifted broncos. Not to sound cocky, but its BAD ASS, everyday people try to buy it or compliment it. The top has a undercoating finish, which I kept off the whole summer. The interior is painted and drains fine. All new door lock components and I also have a white gauge cluster set, which sticks over the black gauge ( your preference). If you are serious about this you can call me 443-944-5277, don't waste my time with low ball offers. Thanks

Ford Focus ST, Fiesta ST buyers to get free Octane Academy driving school

Thu, 01 Aug 2013

The Ford Focus ST and Fiesta ST have created plenty of excitement in the sport compact segment, and Ford is looking to make sure that owners are driving and enjoying their cars to the best of their abilities. As an added bonus for buying one of these sporty hatchbacks, Ford will provide a complimentary ST Octane Academy session to be held at the Miller Motorsports Park in Utah.
Attendees will be responsible for travel and lodging, but Ford will provide the driving school free of charge. Included in this two-day trip, ST owners will get class instruction and driving instruction in prepped Focus ST and Fiesta ST models on the track and autocross course. Some karting action will also be involved as will a tour of Ken Block's Hoonigan Racing headquarters located nearby. If this doesn't sound like enough fun, there is also an optional day of activities that includes some more track time in a Mustang GT and off-road instruction in an F-150 SVT Raptor.
Ford told us that those who have already purchased a Focus ST or Fiesta ST will still be able to attend the performance driving school, but the press release, which is posted below, makes it sound like it applies to original owners only. Ford has yet to announce its schedule for the ST Octane Academy or prices for additional activities or guests.

Watch how Ken Block spent his weekend in Barbados

Thu, 22 May 2014

Regardless of what you think of his skill as a racer, Ken Block is an expert showman. At this point, he has a career of showing up around the world to do vehicular stunts, and he's still able to go racing as well. It's a pretty sweet niche to carve out. Recently, Block was in Barbados to participate in Top Gear Live and the first event of the Global Rallycross Championship season, and Ford Racing produced a short video to show off his exploits.
It looked like a great show. Block got to race Lewis Hamilton in a Mercedes-Benz Formula One car and had a very weird crash during a Rallycross race that put his Ford Fiesta on its roof. Top Gear also released an extended look at Block and Hamilton's spectacle with the two of them expertly sliding around. Scroll down to watch the videos and get a taste of Block's tropical racing adventure.

Are you the next Ford Edge? [UPDATE]

Wed, 13 Feb 2013

What looks to be the next Ford Edge has been leaked in an apparent corporate Powerpoint presentation deck. Despite the thumbnail image's blurry and pixelated quality, it appears as if the next generation crossover will be staying close to its current aesthetic despite an all-new front clip with redesigned grille, headlamps, and lower fascia with integrated fog lights.
The upscale-minded Blue Oval CUV is due for a redesign in 2015, having just received a mid-cycle refresh for 2011. It isn't clear what changes lie beneath the new skin, either in terms of mechanicals or interior refinement, but we suspect Ford will be looking to put some distance between the next generation model and the new Escape, which is suddenly much more car-like and not that far off the more expensive Edge in terms of overall size, power or refinement.
UPDATE: Substituted clearer image - thanks, Sean!
