Original 302 V8, 4x4, Side winder winch, power steering. 100% rust free, life long California truck. Its never seen a day of snow or a salty road in its life! Its never had so much as a spec of rust anywhere!
~The body and paint are outstanding! It was done about a year ago and has been gingerly driven and garaged since. Its laser straight with a nice deep finish. I would say its darn near flawless. It started as an all original Bronco Ranger with absolutely NO rust. It was stripped down and redone its its original color Limestone green poly. The paint was down right! All glass, trim, door handles, grill, tail lights, door locks, ect... were removed. It was meticulously prepped and came out beautiful! The factory Ranger stripes were re applied. Again, this is was a completely rust free, original Bronco to start. It still retains all of its original body panels. The under carriage, floors, frame and rockers are excellent! No rust, no scaling, no patching, no under coating gunk. Just nice, dry and original. Finding these good rust free, un-cut, un molested Broncos is getting nearly impossible. This is a good one! ~The truck runs and drives very well. Engine fires right up with no leaks, smoke, or funny noises. The transmission shifts smooth. Brakes are good. I have a brand new in the box front disc brake conversion that comes with the truck. Steering is tight. She goes straight down the road. 5 brand new Goodyear wrangler tires. ~The interior is all new. Seats were recovers in a Parchment Softside. Really pops with the green. It was kept pretty minimalist. No carpet was put back in. Its kind of nice that way. You see exactly what your getting. Nothing to hide under carpet. All brand new weather stripping, door felts, dash knobs, door handles, locks and stereo. 2014 Saleen George Follmer Edition Mustang debuts at Lagun Seca
Sat, 17 Aug 2013Saleen used the occasion of the race-fueled Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca to announce its new Heritage Collection Lineup. The event was punctuated with the debut of the collection's first member, the 2014 Saleen George Follmer Edition Mustang.
Follmer's name will likely sound familiar to fans of American racing in the 1960s and '70s. The driver competed in Formula One with the Shadow team in 1973, ran the Indianapolis 500, was the Can-Am champion in 1972 and drove stock cars in NASCAR's Winston Cup as well. The multi-disciplined driver is now one of three -the other two being Mark Donohue and Swede Savage - with the honor of upcoming, limited edition Saleen-tuned vehicles..

Fallon picks Ford F-150 King Ranch, launches dealership contest
Tue, 01 Apr 2014New truck! Jimmy Fallon of The Tonight Show has been searching for the perfect new truck for a few weeks now, soliciting help from all corners in the process. Last night, Fallon made the announcement that the Ford F-150 King Ranch - in all of its cowboy glory - had been picked as his big winner.
To add some more spice to a storyline that now dips deeply into the realm of the advertorial, Fallon also announced a contest to see which Ford dealership would get the privilege of selling him the King Ranch. Dubbed "Fingers on a 4x4" The Tonight Show has invited 10 dealer reps from around the country to keep their hands on Jimmy's F-150 for as long as possible. Last salesperson standing wins.
Watch Fallon make his pick and introduce the dealer reps below, and be sure to click on the second video for a live-streaming feed of Fingers on a 4x4 in action (the contest seems to be going strong).
Ford files trademark for 'EcoBeast' moniker
Mon, Dec 29 2014Ford has done some performance stuff with its EcoBoost line of vehicles, most notably with its Focus and Fiesta ST, the new, turbocharged Mustang and the luke-warm Taurus SHO and F-150 Tremor, but it's kind of avoided going wholly bonkers. That could be set to change quite soon, judging by a trademark filing with Uncle Sam. Ford has registered the name EcoBeast with the United States Patent and Trademark Office, listing it as "automobiles and automobile engines," according to the team at Motorlix, which discovered the filing. As always, it bears mentioning that companies are constantly filing trademarks, even if a good or service never emerges with said name. We agree with Motorlix, though – it seems highly unlikely Ford is going to just let this name languish. What vehicle or engine will wear this new badge is the real question. We're leaning towards something F-150 related, based on our last round of spy photos of the new SVT Raptor, although it's impossible to say for certain what the Blue Oval has planned. Here's hoping we find out in just a few weeks when Ford brings basically all of its performance merchandise to the 2015 Detroit Auto Show. Until then, let us know what you think Ford is planning with the EcoBeast.
