1971 Ford Bronco. Complete frame off restoration. I bought this bronco six years ago from the original owner in
Colorado. It is completely rust free.
Original 302 engine was completely rebuilt. Bored 30 over, torque cam, Edelbrock aluminum intake with Edelbrock
550 cfm carb.
It was repainted the original orange and white colors. Rear is ford 9" with dana 44 in front.
MSD pro billet Ready to run distributor.
Completely rebuiltC4 automatic transmission feeds a dana 20 transfer case.
Power steering with tilt wheel.
Power brakes with front disk conversion.
Vintage air AC. Blows very cold air.
Roll bar is powder coated.
Powder coated front, rear bumpers and pare tire support.
Brand new carpet from front to rear.
New upholstery.
Original power take off winch works.
New dual Magnaflow exhaust system.
New Warn hubs in front.
New four 31 inch tires on 15" Ion alloy wheels
Every body part is original.
3point seat belts in front.
It has front and rear anti sway bar kits with quick disconnects.
Lifted 2.5 inches and it has a new drive shaft.
Everything works great.
This frame off restoration took a lot of time and money but it became one of the best 1971 Broncos you will ever
see. Clean title in my name. This Bronco will look better in person. The pictures just cannot do it justice.
This rebuild was done in 2015. I have put less that 1000 miles on it.

Ford recalling 126,000 Fusions and Milans over wheel separation concern

Ford has announced a recall of certain Ford Fusion and Mercury Milan vehicles after an investigation by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. A total of 128,616 2010 and 2011 models equipped with steel wheels may have been manufactured with wheel studs that could crack and split over time. If that happens, the vehicle may experience a wheel separation.
According to The Detroit News, the company is aware of a total of 30 wheel separation incidents, one of which occurred on the front of the vehicle. Even so, no injuries have been reported as a result of the defect.
The problem apparently stems from the fact that the mounting pads on the vehicles' steel wheels may have been faulty from the factory. In addition, the wheel mounting face on rear disc brakes may not have been installed properly. Ford will inspect the rear disc face and replace them as necessary. Ford dealer gives James Robertson new 2015 Taurus

James Robertson, the 56-year-old Detroit native famous for walking 21 miles to work each day for the last 10 years, is behind the wheel again thanks to a gift from a Ford dealer. Robertson became an Internet sensation when the story about his daily ordeal came to light, and a GoFundMe campaign initially hoped to raise $5,000 to buy him a new ride. As of this writing, it has reached over $300,000. He didn't have to dip into any of that money to buy the new car, though. According to The Detroit Free Press, Suburban Ford of Sterling Heights, MI, heard about Robertson's story of never being late to work and having perfect attendance. The dealer is donating a fully loaded, red 2015 Taurus to him. It's not one of our choices, but certainly nothing to sneeze at. Robertson started walking to work in 2005 when his Honda broke down. According to the GoFundMe page, his job is about 23 miles away, but thanks to Detroit's poor bus network, he covers about 21 miles of that round-trip trek on foot each day. Ford rethinking vehicle launch strategy

With a new boss at the helm, Ford is looking at new ways to improve its vehicle launches in North America to prevent recent issues that have popped up with models like the Lincoln MKZ, Ford Escape and Ford Fusion. Speaking with Automotive News, Ford's new president of the Americas, Joe Hinrichs, revealed a few ways the automaker plans to avoid early build issues such as the engine fires on certain 2013 Escape and Fusion models and months-long delays for customers to receive their MKZs.
It sounds like the root of the problems may have been Ford's relationship with suppliers compounded by the fact that the product surge came on the heels of the recent industry-crippling recession, and in the AN article, Hinrichs says improvements are being made to reduce problems during the launch of new or redesigned models. Three such improvements that were implemented during the first quarter of this year including more rigorous quality comparisons, better use of computer technology to catch major problems sooner and hiring engineers to work closer with suppliers.
